James came this morning and did a walk through for a quote on our new home in Golden Hill/South Park. He was helpful, followed Covid precautions, and gave me an idea for how long the work will take. Awaiting the quote but so far, I really appreciated the clear conversation about the work to be done and that fact he didn’t try to up-sell me on work to do.

Laurence was extremely helpful, professional and prompt. Could not have asked for better help. Our kitchen outlets were out (including the fridge). Fixed very quickly which was a relief because we were concerned about our food going bad. Highly recommend!

I installed a ceiling fan for my bathroom and needed it wired into the wall for a switch. I used Angies List to find them and they responded in less than 3 minutes. Rob had a guy at my house the next day to wire it in. I’m assuming the price was fair but I can’t validate that claim. He also said he had to charge me a bit extra because I found him on Angies List to cover those costs so just call him direct next time to save some $. He also came out for an estimate for a backyard project and gave me a good quote. I’d totally use them again for any electrical needs.

We worked with Horlando at CLD electric (and some limited encounters with Jerry). Horlando installed an outlet ~160ft from our home for a pool and completed work outlined on a home inspection report we received prior to buying our current home.It was a substantial amount of work - replacing all outlets in the kitchen, adding junction boxes in the attic for exposed splices, fixing faulty wiring and substandard work completed by previous electricians (or by the previous owner). I asked for details on every installation and how it addresses items in the inspection report, which Horlando provided. He was respectful of our request to keep a mask on indoors and was flexible about scheduling. I also believe we were given a price that was more than fair.Jerry returned my initial call to schedule the work on the same day and had Horlando out to start on the pool outlet the next day. Initially the timer for the pool outlet was faulty. When I called, Jerry offered to have it fixed that same day (we opted to wait until the day the rest of the work was scheduled). I am very satisfied by their professionalism and timeliness and will be returning for any future work we need.

They replaced my fuse box and made certain that everything was up to code. Everyone was polite, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I had. They always arrived on time and the price for the job was very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

We had lighting issue. Contacted Green Electric Solutions which was very responsive. They were able to schedule for the same day. They came and saw that the entire light fixture is a mess, and suggested to replace it. They did a professional job and charged a fair price.

We got a couple of outlets added to our garage so we could run power tools without needing extra long extension cords. We called around and had two different estimates. Rapid electric came in with the lowest price. We were a bit wary since they were the lowest, but they were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. Jose was very friendly and made us very comfortable. Outlets work great and now I can work on my car without tripping over extension cords!

Owner Dan and his entire crew are very unhelpful. They fail to properly assess the needs of the client and to give expert advice on what it takes to address the business' needs. They are unhelpful, hostile and rude to the client. They are aggressive and derogatory in their dealings with the customer even though we have given them repeat business. They push for getting paid before they make sure their job is properly installed, tested and functional. I urge you strongly to look for your interest and think twice about hiring them and get yourself into a lot of aggravation and poor service as I have done.

I met Randy at my place of business and asked about a service panel upgrade for my home.He was able to quote my project right then.He and his crew handled everything from the permits and service disconnect to the installation and inspection.I am very happy with their work from beginning to end.i have since had another large project completed by Carter Electric and received the same high level of service.I would like to thank Mike and Marty for their help in getting my shop squared away and safe, and also for letting me help out with the non-technical grunt work.If I have any more electrical projects in the future, Carter electric is my first choice.

The electricians at Service Rite Electric did a GREAT job in replacing the back security lights where I live in San Diego.I originally found them online, called and agreed to have them look the next day after hearing what needed to be done. Paul, their electrician came that next morning. He was friendly, knew what he was talking about and did not take much of my time. I received a quote by e-mail the next day with pictures. I liked it, sent it to the owner and got approval to schedule. They came out that weekend and completed the install.The difference was amazing. The residents parking their cars at night are extremely pleased that the area is much much brighter (attached are before at top after at bottom pics of the area).In the near future, I will have them install lights in the front of the property.

Greg is my go-to guy for anything electrical. Most recently (this morning 9/1/22) I asked for his help on changing an ac breaker on my main electrical panel. He inspected it and noticed that the connection was loose and went to work replacing this breaker making sure the connection was stronger so that my ac would stop tripping. Fine, quality work.My first experience with HG electric was back in February 2020 for a GFCI outlet for my ensuite toilet. I got a couple of bids for this project and his was in line with other electricians. He was very responsive when asked for a quote via Yelp! and it turns out he lives really close to me. I liked the work he performed with my GFCI outlet that I reached out to him regarding a busted recessed light in my kitchen. He assessed the light and recommended I move to LED lights. I could not have been happier with that decision. Its much brighter in my kitchen and does not require a change in bulbs as in the incandescent lights that were previously there. Then I asked him to install the same LEDs in my kids bedroom so that they could read in their room. My kids eyes will be happy with that decision going forward.Bottom line Greg is a master electrician. He is the first person I call for any electrical needs. I can say with 100% confidence that you will satisfied with his work also.
