I have used Allgood for other electrical jobs. The electricians that were sent have been the same. On time, courteous, knowledgeable, experienced, helpful in making a decision without pressure, and seem proud of their work. The office staff are much the same. Easy to contact and so helpful when scheduling.

I sold a home in San Antonio and the buyer's inspector had called for significant repairs to the electrical system which the buyer wanted completed. The only way to address them was to do costly upgrades.I checked various electrical contractors in the area both on line and by phone. I had limited time to obtain opinions, advice, and pricing for the work as the closing had been scheduled.When I called Bolt Electric, I initially spoke with Wendy who was very helpful. Wendy scheduled Ronnie to go out and assess the situation and review the inspector's report. They gave me an initial estimate range for the work. I was then able to email Ronnie several times with questions which he answered in detail. All of this initial work was done without any charge; that was not the case with some other companies that I contacted.I chose Bolt Electric because it was obvious to me that Ronnie not only knew his profession inside out, but he knew the optimum approach to take for my specific situation. I wasn't disappointed. He sent me photos of the work since I wasn't in town and the workmanship appeared excellent. The buyer was provided with an updated, safe system with minimal disruption to the home.There are no simple, inexpensive solutions when faced with upgrading an electrical system in an older home. This is highly skilled work that cannot be left to an unlicensed individual or even a licensed person without the proper experience because of the potential consequences relating to safety and including improper installation that would not be approved on inspection.If I needed electrical work in the San Antonio area in the future, I would simply call Bolt Electric and have them do the work according to what they felt was necessary. I fully trust the company.

I called in the morning for some work to install a custom fixture for a light we purchased. They were they within 2 hours, they went right at it and wasted no time performing the job. They mounted a electric box and supplied a switch on the wall for cheaper and better than I had expected. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. I wish we met before recycling our old A/C unit. There is a saying in the right place at the right time and I want to add the right person to it. Brandon is that person. Took us 4 month to troubleshoot our ongoing issue with new A/C unit. Within 10 min or so Brandon was able to identify that issue was with the wire connection in the electrical panel. Electrician 101 he said while applying proper lube to connect aluminum wire to copper so the breaker does not overheat. Would have cost us $$$ to re-wire the whole thing if it was not for his wisdom and skills.Thank you Brandon!
