Last week we had an electrical fire at the main circuit breaker panel at 1 in the morning. The fire dept came with CPS. CPS cut the wires to my house and pulled the meter. My wife called J & L Electric before 7 am. By 7:30, an electrician was over telling his office what parts were required. Besides the repairs, the electrical feed had to be brought up to code. By 9 or so, 2 electricians were at my house to replace the whole electrical feed. This included the pole, meter box, circuit breaker panel and a accessory box for the A/C. The men worked non-stop till 9 pm. There was a delay getting CPS over because the city had not inspected the work. Mr. Guerrero, the owner of J & L, got with a super at CPS and explained there were 2 elderly people and 3 young girls at my home. Waiting till the following week for the inspection was not going to work. CPS relented and power was restored around 9 pm. J & L Electric came through for us quickly and efficently. Plus the bill was very reasonable considering how many hours they worked. They will be my electricians from now on. I highly recommend them for any electrical job, large or small.

Loved Josh and his knowledge of everything. Very professional, nice, and thorough. We will definitely be looking into a regular service package because of his expertise. Also the time to come service was super fast. I highly recommend.

We had a toilet fixed at a rental property on Thursday(work order# 167959). Their initial service was very good. The tech was friendly and polite. Friday evening our renters called to say their floor was completely soaked and the toilet was leaking. We called Specia as soon as we got the call. Specia called back to say well sounds like this is a warranty problems vs. maintenance and if I have to send someone out I'll have to pay overtime. Since it is after 6pm I will have to call you back Saturday morning. Here it is Sunday and we have not received a phone call back from Specia. Bottom line was when Specia performed their work the washer was offset in the tank which started leaking. I had to have someone else fix the job Specia was paid to do. We understand these things happen. The biggest disappointment I have with this company is their reaction to the problem and their responsiveness. Companies and people make mistake, this will always happen but a true test of a quality/reputable company is how it responds to their errors. Specia website states they are committed customer satisfaction and quality service. It says they have a reputation for honesty, reliability, and superior service. I’m disappointed to say they did not live up to their reputation.

I attempted a home improvement project and it was a DISASTER!! I made a huge mess and was completely lost, I called Mickel handyman service and they were SO friendly and didn’t judge me at all for my debacle of a flooring attempt. They came out same day and did way more than I even hoped and were extremely reasonable! I figured I would have to do clean up and I had a cord that needed to be attached to the wall, they went ahead and did it for me so I didn’t have to! And they cleaned up the mess I made with the flooring and didn’t say a word about it, I was so embarrassed it went so bad! I can’t recommend them enough, they were so kind, friendly, professional, quick, and did a fantastic job, I will absolutely be using them again and recommend them to any of my family and friends who need home repairs! SO THANKFUL!!! Really fantastic work and very personable people, I was so worried after trying to find someone to fix my mess was going so poorly then they called me back and it was a breeze and my job is already done!
