Best Plumbing Piping in Phoenix AZ

my experience wasn't a happy one! One AC unit stopped working last night, after searching website, found George Brazil has better review, so I called today, the staffs over phone are very nice and friendly, so I made an appointment for this diagnosis and repair. The technician came on time, turned on thermal status and worked on the floor unit in the back yard, thenfor he told me just need to refill Freon for one pound, but he told me it would cost me $300 to $400, his labor fee is $160 per hour, I asked how long it took to recharge, he said it would be a few minutes. I said it would be too expensive like that, then he said to go to truck to look up the price list, and told me the total would be $269.75. I thought it is at least better than original price he gave and I wanted to trust George Brazil because the 4 or 5 star review. so I let him did it. After he left, I googled how much the cost of freon and labor fee,I found out it is about $50 per pound, so the bill to my repair was way overrated.My unit is just 2 years old, this technician told me maybe there is leakage somewhere, but he never bothered to check this leakage just told me if it stopped working again, maybe looking for leakage, I asked warranty, he said there is no warranty for charging freon. I feel they should check the leakage, if it is, fixing the leakage should be the right treatment for this.I called the company and wanted to talk to manager, I was told someone will contact me. hopefully they will be responsible and do call me back.

I am not happy at all with Penguin Air & Plumbing. First, I requested a quote on a new a/c and duct work. I was told the job would only take one day. I was prepared to try and work out more than one day. I received a call 3 days later saying they needed to get more measurements. I agreed and when they showed up they were there for most of the day, cutting holes in my ceiling and roof. This was on a Monday and they were to return on Thursday to do all the work. After they left and for the next two days I was having to constantly go out and clean up foam pieces from blowing off my roof putting my dogs at risk. I sent a text but never heard from the original person. I had other plans this day that were affected by them working at my house, which was supposed to just be a few measurements. They came to do the work and were there all day which was expected however, they didn't get the job completed and had to come back the next day. I work and have a life, I should be given correct information up front on how long this was going to take. The guys came back the next day to complete the job. I was then told that if they made an additional cut in my ceiling, which was in the original plans, they didn't include the drywall for that cut, only the others. I was angry and they agreed to cover the drywall. I was then told that they would call to make arrangements to do the drywall work on another day. That was two weeks ago and I have not been called. I am having trouble with this company and I am now nervous about whether I bought a good a/c or was ripped off. I am also getting the feeling they are not planning to complete the work. I do not have a good feeling about this at all.

Matt was awesome and straight forward, finished the job kept me informed of all the work being done. There seems to be issues with scheduling but the tech Matt made up for the little short comings.
