Best Electrician Lights in Phoenix AZ

My Technician - Jay Johnson - was great! Showed up on time, good sense of humor and fixed my ceiling fan issue quick. They didn't overcharge which is always a fear when hiring a contractor.

Will definitely be using these guys again.

The service is great. They go out of their way to explain what is wrong, options you have in regards to maintainence, repair, update, and replace. The technician was knowledgeable, fair, and experienced. On time and efficient.

I contacted 24HR Valleywide Electric about hanging some pendant lights above my kitchen island, which the home was not previously wired for, and adding a power outlet behind a piece of furniture in my family room so I could eliminate an unsightly extension cord. David was courteous and professional when he came to give the estimate. I scheduled him to come out the following week to do the work, and I couldn't be happier. He did a great job, charged the exact price he quoted and was careful and clean while doing the work. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him to my family and friends ... GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I waited a full week to see if there would be some form of follow up from my service last week before posting my review.
I originally saw the work van on Grand & Vet Owned caught my eye (& tugged at me since my family consists of many branches of service over several generations. I called & set up an appointment for an estimate.
Work needed was a new run in my garage to install the Ring Flood Light, & relocation of the doorbell wiring to accommodate the Ring Video Doorbell. The original appointment I scheduled, I got a call at the end of the window of time I expected the electrician. I was informed they were tied up on a job & needed to reschedule. I get it, things happen & for me it was no big deal, but if someone took off work for the estimate, it would have been a wasted day.
2 Days later, the electrician came on time, was friendly & personable. I felt the estimate was a bit high, but I also know most companies charge for a visit just for an estimate, coupled with the knowledge it was a Vet owned business...I opted to schedule the work. I explained the situation with the doorbell need & wiring the floodlight. The estimate was $1,100 less a military discount (which I did think was thoughtful considering the price) I asked about the patch work for the cuts to the drywall & sadly was told I would be left with the cut outs screwed in & would need to get a drywall guy to make look like nothing was done. Still. I scheduled the next available time.
I showed my wife the estimate & she to was a little concerned about the price for the job. We agreed it needed to be done nonetheless.
The electrician arrived around noon & went right to it. I pointed out the installation of the ring products weren't listed on the estimate, but he said it wasn't a problem, he will take care of it. I also had an outlet I asked him to look at while he was here. It had a loose wire that burned our vacuum plug. I asked how much to fix & the answer kind of stunned me...$100.00. So, a $4.00 part & 5 minutes rated a charge of $100.00. Since he stated it was a wonder the house didn't burn down...I allowed him to replace the burned outlet. A total of 5 hours later, he said he was done, I gave him my card to charge, signed & parted ways. I had a softball game to coach & we were at the edge of our time to leave.
When we got home, I was able to actually pay attention to details. I did the programming of the doorbell & went through troubleshooting with the tech from Ring. It was determined that the fault is in the wiring & not in the floodlight. I pulled the floodlight off & viewed the black wire was cut on mounting the light. Removing the light arced & tripped my circuit to the entire garage. The garage door open, I did not want to leave my home unsecured. Now 9 PM, I recalled this company was 24 hours. My call was answered by a pleasant woman who said this would be passed on. I asked if I would be charged for this after hours service call even though it was the electricians mistake. I got no definitive answer & the return call came some 11 hours later.
I could not stand the thought of leaving my home unsecured for the night as I have valuables in my garage & after waiting 2-3 hours for the return call...decided to fix it myself. Not the handiest person with a screw driver...I felt no other viable option, but I was greatly disappointed to say the least. When I went to the front door, I found all the debris from the job still on the floor & in my daughters hamster cage. I would have thought at least the dust & drywall parts on the floor would have been tended to.
Joe Lake (the electrician) returned my call at 8:06 AM. He explained when he got the call, he had already turned in for the night & just got the message in the morning. I explained I had to repair the wire because I couldn't leave my home unsecured. While I did get an apology...that was the extent of it. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

I can’t say enough good things about these guys! A multi-generational family company that truly cares about their clients and are the epitome of PROFESSIONAL, QUALITY SERVICE! The only electrical company I will ever call for my residence.

I had a simple repair that they solved in less than 10 minutes. Gave me excellent education and did not charge me. Can't get any better than that!

We needed two ceiling fans with remotes installed, one kitchen chandelier and electrical ran to our pergola for hanging lights. We also had issues with breakers tripping intermittently in our home. TAP and Sons Electric was excellent from the beginning. The estimator was able to give an accurate estimate over the phone and trouble shoot the breaker problem providing various solutions. The electrician Cyrus was early on install day and worked quickly to resolve the breaker issues. Next, Cyrus installed the ceiling fans and chandelier. Everything looks and works fantastic - Cyrus is a bit of a perfectionist, a quality you look for when having contractors work on your home. Thank you TAP and Sons for a job well done. We'll definitely be referring you guys to neighbors, friends and family!

Wang's service technician, Nathan Thomas, notified me what time he would arrive, and he arrived on time. He was focused, efficient, and knowledgeable. He explained to me what needed to be done. The fee was more than reasonable and he would not accept a tip. I highly recommend his and Wang Electric Systems.

I live in Canada and own a seasonal house in the Phoenix area. During some routine maintenance work on our alarm system while we were back in Canada, some electrical issues cropped up. I called Tony, the owner of Meade Electric and he said that he would take care of it himself while he was in the area. I got a call from him approximately 10 minutes after he had arrived, letting me know that the job was complete. He also said that the job was so simple that he didn't feel right billing me for the work. Has anyone ever heard that from and electrician before? Great job Tony (and thanks again)!!!!!

This company came out quickly and took down an old box light off my ceiling in kitchen and added 6 recessed lights. In addition, they took down an old chandelier and added 6 lights to my living room which has always had poor lighting. It’s now bright and makes the room look and feel bigger.

They were efficient and friendly.

Completed initial work. No follow up for quotes on other requested work, including cancelled and missed appointments with no communication. Wholly disappointed.

Had an appointment for Rod to come out to give me a bid on some work I want to do to my house, the appointment was from 2-4pm I called and confirmed the appointment that morning. They never showed up. I called the office twice that afternoon and no one picked up the phone.. I waited over a week to write this review, thinking they would reach out and try to re schedule or least apologize. Haven't heard back from them, in my opinion that shows their professionalism.

This company does a great job from the time they quote until they complete the job. Tom and his guys take care to make sure that every detail is complete. I was very impressed at how accurately they laid out my new can lights. Everything is equally spaced and the lights are perfectly inline with one another. They also did a great job installing new vent fans in the bathrooms. I didn’t have to do any drywall repair which was nice. Tom also installed solar on my house and also upgraded my service. The process for the solar was painless as he took care of everything. I will continue to use Watt Masters in the future and recommend them to anyone.

We have used many electrical contractors in the past, but AZ State Electric is by far the best electricians we have sub contracted to. We do both commercial and residential and these guys know their stuff. Mario is awesome and a master at electrical. We would highly recommend these guys, and do all the time!
