I highly recommend this company. I called Tap and Sons Electric for a second opinion after a contractor I hired had threatened to condemn my house. The owner of Tap and Sons arrived within hours to evaluate the problem and even got on the phone with the contractor and advocated for me. Talk about great service! A Tap and Sons electrician came out to install a junction box and I was all set. Honest company. Fair prices. Great service.

Project: Recessed lighting & Ceiling fan installations throughout the entire house; Kitchen, Living Room, Master Bedroom & Bathroom, two bedrooms, and the Back Patio.

Contacted TAP and Sons and Thom (owner) called back same day to schedule a quick consultation. Thom came over a couple days later and provided a full quote and made some recommendations based on his 25+ years experience. Scheduled the work for a couple weeks out from there.

Day of Cyrus and his crew showed up early, on-time, and got to work. The guys were professional and courteous throughout the time they were in the house. Removed and replaced all 5 of the old ceiling fans with new ones and replaced/installed a total of 22 new recessed lights. A lot of work that they made look easy and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Thom checked in at the end of the day to see how everything looked which was appreciated. Cleaned up after themselves before heading out. Good group of guys and would recommend them to anyone.

My company hired TAP and Sons Electric, Inc to install a set of 60ghz bridge antennas so that we could stream internet from one building to another. The initial response was fast, and work was excellent quality. When my team landed in Phoenix to complete phase 2 of the project, Thom and his team came out to assist in correcting a few oversights with no problem and no charge. Great electricians and one of the best overall contractors in Phoenix. I used a different electrician one time just because they arrived faster and they spent a day making a mess and not fixing anything. Tap came over and fixed my issue in 15 minutes and then cleaned up the other guys mess. Top notch company.

We just finished our install with Tap and Sons today. Not only were they the lowest quote we had received, their service was excellent to boot! Raul arrived on time. Work was done before noon. Final bill was exactly as quoted. The work looks great. He tested the lines. At the end he gave me his card and told me how to contact him. He also did a great job cleaning up after himself. What more could you ask for? We will definitely call them again for all our electric needs!

We needed two ceiling fans with remotes installed, one kitchen chandelier and electrical ran to our pergola for hanging lights. We also had issues with breakers tripping intermittently in our home. TAP and Sons Electric was excellent from the beginning. The estimator was able to give an accurate estimate over the phone and trouble shoot the breaker problem providing various solutions. The electrician Cyrus was early on install day and worked quickly to resolve the breaker issues. Next, Cyrus installed the ceiling fans and chandelier. Everything looks and works fantastic - Cyrus is a bit of a perfectionist, a quality you look for when having contractors work on your home. Thank you TAP and Sons for a job well done. We'll definitely be referring you guys to neighbors, friends and family!

This was the best experience I have ever had with any contractor. We were told by an appliance repairman that the breakers needed to be replaced or it would cause a fire. The company was absolutely on top of our issue. They offered to come out and give us a free estimate and scheduled estimate for our convenience, he showed up and looked over what we were told was a fire hazzard. He looked into breaker box the said the breaker was in good shape. Most other services would have told us everything needed to be replaced and charged us our life savings. They were courteous
knowledgeable. Ended up not charging us at all. The peace off mind was so welcome. Best service ever.

I highly recommend Tap and Sons Electric. They sent an email to confirm the appointment the day prior, that even included a picture and information about the technician that would be coming out to our home. As a woman, it was nice to know who to expect at the appointment. They were on time, called on their way over and were very professional and honest. They installed a chandelier in the nursery, hung ceiling fans and added dimmer switches throughout our home. Everything looks fantastic!

TAP and Son's Electric replaced recessed lighting in the main entry way of my home with a chandelier. They centered the light perfectly in relation to the surrounding windows. The electricians were clean, friendly and very professional. I have already recommended them to friends.

I had this company change my panel and upgrade to a 200-amp. It was painless hiring them since they coordinated everything and got our power back on. Great company wish there where more ethical companies around like them. Thom the owner answered all my questions and concerns. Thanks TAP.

Poor business practice as far as I am concerned. Was sent an Estimate for extending a run for a hot tub. Estimate is clear but nothing saying firm Price or Quote. Electrician came out a few days earlier to look at what supplies he needed , a week later work started. Was late but did text..I dug the trench and disconnected the tub. Things started to go down hill shortly after arrival. The conduit had to be glued together and the tech went for some glue in truck. I have never seen an electrical truck in such poor organizational shape. The electrician searched for 5 + minutes for his glue and found only dried up tins. He then left for Home Depo and was gone 37 minutes. Got back and glued conduit after dumping whole tool pouch on concrete looking for something. Removed old power box ( That we reused ) and started to take fish wire out run power line. The fish was tangled and not useable so he took it apart and spent at least 10-15 minutes untangling the mess. Finally fish wire was run and main wires attached. All the wires were Black.. He said that was fine but needed to be marked after being pulled. He asked me to help if i could so I assisted him and I PULLED THE WIRE THROUGH as he guided it. He got the ends marked for Red/Black/White but used only black tape. I asked when he coded wires for colour. Back to the truck and no coloured tape... he only had black..(He said he had it somewhere in the truck ) I offered to see if I had any.....only had blue. So wires are not cooler coded. He did meter and said was hooked up correctly. My BEEF. the owner would not adjust the bill at all for the lost time he had going for glue and fish tape. His comment was this was a film price...A measure tape was never used for the conduit run... they said 50 feet approx... it is 33 feet.. They used the old breaker and box that was to code. BUYER BEWARE... Oh and maybe you should fix the back tire on your unit your using a temp tire spare.

Tap and sons installed brand new lightbulbs to my house which had lights that weren't working for years. The were in and out, I now have no problems with lights. Definitely recommend them!

I would just like to say that taps and sons has taken great care of me. My apartment has some very bad electrical issues and these guys have been on top of everything and helping get everything fixed. I will keep using them of all of my electrical needs even after i leave my current apartment

15 minutes after the scheduled 12-2 pm appointment window, I called to see if they were still going to show up. They said the tech was running behind and would have to reschedule for 3-6 pm. I said that time wouldn't work because we would be having guests over for dinner during that time. I wanted to reschedule for a week later but they were all booked up. At that point I just cancelled the service request. Very disappointed with Tap and Son's. No e-mail or phone call to confirm the appointment, no phone call to say they were running late and very inflexible to get me rescheduled. Booo!

1) Will overcharge for parts, so be careful. Hook is the service-fee/hr.
2) Not professional at all.

They send me invoice on Thursday. I discuss their invoice on Monday mid-morning (after the weekend) and told them that I will take care of the final invoice after 1PM after my meetings. They call at exactly 1PM, I miss the call but called back within 2 minutes and by then I get a nasty threatening-text from the owner Tom (in image).

So much for 50 years of experience and no hidden charges.

They gave me a quote of $1500 for a job and then tried to nearly double it. When I told them we have a contract and I’m paying no more I was called racial slurs then they walked off the job without finishing.

Tap and Sons does great work with high end components, not cheap parts that will fail in 1 or 2 years.
