Called for an estimate and the women that answered the phone says they have availability for the same day between 3 to 5 pm.I said great I will take it. Someone calls me back an hour later and says sorry we cannot do it today but tomorrow morning we can. Great, I take it. They call ahead of time which was great and on visit, I tell them I need 13 recessed lights (4inch) which yes includes the wiring and switches. They sell for $150 for the entire set on Amazon. The living room ceiling is already open so all they have to do is the electrical job. They give me a price of $4277.00 which comes to $330.00 a light. I tell them I will get back to them and then they tell me it’s $40 for todays estimate. Mind you, no one on the phone told me there was a charge for an estimate. Gave them the$40 to get them outta of there. I called them based on a recommendation (when I mentioned the name) they had no idea who I was talking about and only called them because I was told they were reasonably priced and do great work. Well folks they are not reasonably priced and be prepared for hidden charges. For $330 a light I would get someone in town for less. Lesson learned. Don’t make my mistake. This company looks for people with deep pockets to pay their ridiculous prices. Stay away. They come from king of Prussia and Philly. And for the business owner, make sure you tell people on the phone when they schedule an estimate, it will cost $40. Don’t be a weasel and charge a customer on the spot without prior knowledge. Looks like I paid for their lunch today lol.

I am a novice real estate investor who is learning the business and trying to make sure that my property is well managed. After an inspection from the local township, I was given a list of electrical fixes. I contacted Protech on Thumbtack and they immediately responded. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I missed their calls and had to reschedule. This was completely my fault, but Protech remained very professional and understanding and they rescheduled me for another date. Even on that date I missed their technicians initial call, but they again remained professional and friendly and worked around my schedule.The technician, Dimitir, arrived on time and provided an honest, thorough and educational consultation! The service was efficient and reasonably priced. Suffice to say, they have earned me as a long term customer! Highly recommend!!!

Fast & efficient technician! We had a lighting system taken out and converted to LED lights, and they also installed a light fixture in the room with a dimmer switch. They were on time and had an easy system to schedule online!

GreekTek, both George and John were incredibly transparent and easy to work with. Arrived on time, educated me about what my options were for my needs and successfully completed installing my ring cameras. I feel much more settled in my new place knowing my electric is up to code and cameras are working. Would recommend and use again. OPA!

This company provides nothing but quality work. They are very professional and trustworthy. I am currently working with Edmond on a remodel and it has been smooth. No headaches at all. They communicate well and do what they say they will do!! I’ll be using them again for sure.

I have a two-story row home in Philadelphia and was looking for a licensed electrician to upgrade my electrical service to 200AMP. Altin came out same-day to provide an estimate and had the job schedule for that week. He showed up on time and replaced the service entrance and conduit with PVC, installed the new panel and put in grounding rods. I was impressed with everyone wearing masks and using shoe coverings to keep the house clean. When the job was finished they bagged all the trash and left the place spotless. Can't recommend Mata Electric enough, they do quality work at a competitive price and will be my go to for any future electric projects.

He did a thorough job, and we're extremely happy with how everything turned out.He provided a quick quote, fair rate, and maintained transparency throughout the whole process. Tony and his team we’re phenomenal! Tony is incredibly responsive, they were efficient, and did a high-quality job fast. I really appreciated his attention to detail and openness to our questions throughout the process (installed ~30 recessed lights, updated outlets/switch plates, moved wiring). I had called based on a friend’s recommendation, and I felt more comfortable knowing the business has been around for quite some time, and all of my expectations were exceeded. Ran into quite a few electrical issues when I purchased my first home, and I didn’t really know where to turn. Scheduling was amazing, and I managed to have someone (John) come out for service very quickly. It was clear that he knew what he was doing, and gave me several options for how to remedy the issues, never felt any pressure in making a decision. Very personable, professional, and safe. Explained absolutely everything as he was completing the service, and it’s almost embarrassing to say, but I think he left my house cleaner in the areas he worked on than they were when he got there. Top notch service, would definitely use again for any electrical issues in the future. Would never use anyone else. A++

Amp meter and service wire replacement, RAYA electrical are awesome, responsive to my call on Labor Day, he came right over. Accessed the issue and how it needed to be addressed. The company was very patient w/me because of multiple funerals, I had to delay repair. We agreed on the date and hallelujah, my lights are no longer dimming or blinking. I will definitely use this service again, and have recommended RAYA to my neighbors

My entire home had knob and tube wiring and it all needed to be replaced. Live Wire did a great job replacing all the electrical and adding in additional outlets as well as installing internet drops throughout the house and an integrated Smoke Detector/Carbon Monoxide detectors. Professional work, great communication and done in a timely manner. Would absolutely use again and would recommend to anyone that asks.
