Great electrical work. Electricians are professional, do excellent work, and leave everything as they found it. Communications with the office were consistently terrible. Calls not returned, CSRs sometimes rude - When I was called about a past due payment for a particular service, I told the service rep that I was never informed their would be a charge for that service. She then told me that I was wrong, and that I better pay. I refused. She said she would look into it. I never heard back, nor was it ever mentioned again.I did have Gen3 do a big electrical job, and they had to come back to finish after another contractor had completed their work first. I called the office twice to schedule the job completion, both times the persons who took my calls were confused about what needed to be done and said they'd get back to me. They did not. I then requested the service via their web site. Someone returned my call that evening, and said I would receive a phone response in a day or two. No one called. I was so frustrated at this point, that I wrote to the head of the company asking for someone to please help me get this scheduled. That person returned my call, and the estimatir came out that day, and the job was scheduled for the next day. After waiting a few weeks for the promised paperwork certifying that the work had been completed and passed inspection, I was told that the ordered permit was never returned and they would look into it. It finally came through after I made a few more follow up calls.Gen3 does all scheduling and communications over the phone - they do not use email or other electronic means to keep track of their communications. I think the communication problems I had were the result of not having an electronic paper trail and a lack of communication among those in the office. A good electronic system could have eliminated most of the problems I experienced. I even had to send the letter I wrote via snail mail, since no email addresses of anyone at Gen3 are listed anywhere. I've worked with a bunch of contractors in the past few years, and the best of them all worked with electronic systems.The work they completed was excellent, but it was a struggle all the way through.
