Derek was referred to me by a friend who used him. My parents are getting ready to sell their house and needed an inspection done. Well it's an old house and there were several things that needed to be done to get up to code. Derek and his team did a great job at a reasonable price and were on time. This is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. I needed a full rewire of my house to get rid of knob and tube wiring. Out of the 7 quotes that I got, this is the first one that was honest. Joe and his team worked hard and got it done ahead of schedule. There were some curveballs and with every one they handled it professionally and gracefully and always came with solutions to our wiring problems. We were living in the house during the rewiring and they cleaned up everyday before we got home making sure it was safe for my children. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for electrical work.

What a great company! I'm literally writing a review in the same day that I called, they arrived, completed the work and already left! Am sure I got lucky with their availability a bit, but they were clear, great communication, spot on service and were in and out. It's COVID times, so they were appropriately dressed, masks, shoe covers, in their company clothes. Will use them exclusively going forward. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Jon gave us an honest opinion and fair estimate. He explained every step of the process. Jon and his partner were very thorough, prompt, and professional. They also plaster any openings left by their work. We had 2 outlets installed, one outlet moved, under cabinet lights installed and ceiling fan also. Pricing was reasonable and I feel safe knowing the job was completed by professionals who are conscientious! Plus they cleanup and take trash with them.

Recently bought an electric dryer to replace one that was about 30 years old. The old one was 'hardwired' which apparently doesn't fly these days. I needed an electrical receptacle installed so that the dryer could be plugged in. I called City Wide and they came out on very short notice- within an hour. They had the necessary cords, box- everything needed to get the dryer running. They even made the vent hose more secure. They were polite, cleaned up and did a great job. Very reasonable cost especially on such short notice. I will not hesitate to have them do any future electrical work.

If you need an electrician, Brownie Electric is by far the best option in NJ! I recently had them rewire our entire home and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the experience. Wendell did all the work and was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and friendly.The price was exactly as quoted. Wendell kept the repair needs to a minimum. When having work done on your home, it's hard to know who to trust, but this company is seriously the best. We'll have them back in the future and have already recommended them to our neighbors!
