Great service. Received bid to install a 60A sub panel for power in garage. Bid was fair. Has early morning appointment started on time. When complete, the work required was less than the bid and Tony adjusted the price down. Fair, quick, high quality - what else does one expect. I will use them in the future if I need electrical assistance.

I have had two amazing experiences with New York City electrician and they have become my go to electrical services company. My most recent service was installation of 50 amp service for an RV. I got an appointment very quickly after contacting the office, and my service was installed earlier than expected. Ralph gave me a detailed and easily understandable quote, and walked me through the process. When Howard and other professionals were onsite, they were pleasant to deal with and respectful of my property. They let me know exactly what they were doing, and kept me involved all through the process. Howard was even kind to my very friendly dog! All this is to say that I will be using them again. Oh, and they have a loyalty program, which is a plus.

I had an outlet installed in a walk in closet. Over email, we determined that the work would either entail channeling through the wall to get to a switch outside the closet, or doing some kind of wire mold (on the wall) if the switch would not work - the walls are plaster.

They were up front about costs over email, and the technician arrived on time and completed the work in about an hour. The switch did not have a neutral wire, so a wire mold was necessary. They described the work and how it would look, and did a great job - even cleaning up the work area afterwards. +1 would use again!

Mike was superbly insightful in figuring out some of our lighting issues (in our old building). Most electricians before him messed up or gave up. He was patient, meticulous and his team was incredibly clean and respectful. They went beyond the call of duty. We feel lucky to have him in manhattan.

His associate Devin came to help us out, showed up on time, fixed the problem neatly and quickly, and was an all-around professional. I felt like I was in good hands and am happy with the service. Ilya gave me a good price for the amount of work I needed done which was splicing some wiring to extend it, installing an outdoor floodlight camera (made by Ring) and fixed an outlet that had been broken for months.

I called DAVEN ELECTRIC for a quote on a small project on Monday and on Tuesday the superintendent Alex was at my location reviewing my thoughts and requirements with me in great detail, by Wednesday I had a formal quote laying out the entire scope of work as we had discussed on Tuesday. The price was higher then 2 quotes I received HOWEVER the professionalism was at a higher degree as well. I decided to check the reviews and ask for references which as far as the reviews are concerned they are a top notch company and when called the references ( provided by the office manager Jen ) I was given more then enough detail and comfort that DAVEN electric was worth more then the price quote. Let me be frank, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR and that goes for hiring an electrician as it does for buying a car. I could be happier and feel more at piece knowing I had a NYC Licensed electrical contractor with proper insurance and highly skilled men which conducted themselves like a military operation with gentleman like manners preform my project. In short when it comes to electrical work which is life safety I do not mess around with fly by night unlicensed, uninsured, unreliable companies and you should not either. My smoke alarm started chirping for no reason, I called York Electrical at 11:30am and the electrician was at my door before 1p. Smoke alarm was replaced, and my sanity was saved! This is 2nd time I've used York. Great, professional service!

Needed microwave put on separate breaker, required running conduit and wire. From the start they were prompt and efficient, first with the quote and then when hired for the job. I have had difficulty finding reliable, professional and cost effective/reasonably priced contractors, but this company has all those qualities. Our home is around 60 years old. Unnecessary to say there have been various changes that have been done to the electrical system over this time. We were looking to wrap up the basement inevitably, and as we examined what was down there, we found leftovers of knob and tube and way as well numerous junction boxes, clearly far from perfect. Besides, the crew came in and settled everything. They were professional and knowledgeable, gave us many great recommendations, were courteous, and treated the house as if it were theirs. These guys are the best of the best. I evolved from using one of the younger electricians who gave great customer service, to later moving to an old head named Frank who simply knew how to do stuff that no one else could do. They are respectful, on time, and on budget. And as an African American man oh, that is not always the case with my service people.
