I have had two amazing experiences with New York City electrician and they have become my go to electrical services company. My most recent service was installation of 50 amp service for an RV. I got an appointment very quickly after contacting the office, and my service was installed earlier than expected. Ralph gave me a detailed and easily understandable quote, and walked me through the process. When Howard and other professionals were onsite, they were pleasant to deal with and respectful of my property. They let me know exactly what they were doing, and kept me involved all through the process. Howard was even kind to my very friendly dog! All this is to say that I will be using them again. Oh, and they have a loyalty program, which is a plus.

Overall, I thought they were great. PK & Altman was referred to us during a move from one office to another in NYC. On one hand the experience was limited because it was to disconnect some electrical wiring so that furniture could be broken down, and on the other, it was great because everything went smoothly - they showed up when they said they would, took payment the way they said they would, charged what they said they would, etc.

Roman is an expert electrician and is so helpful! He provided great advice to routing our wires to get 220v for our new ACs and the final cost came in under the original quote. He's a wonderful contractor to work with and is super responsive and flexible. Serafin, his handy electrician was also great to work with in getting the tough work done! Would definitely recommend their services!

Over the New Year weekend late at night, we got hit with a double issue. One was an outdated faulty circuit panel and breakers which tripped and the other was the central heater circuit board getting fried causing an electrical fire sending smoke and burning metal smell throughout the house via the air ducts. We called 911 and the firemen shut the main advising to call a licensed electrician to investigate the issue and perform the necessary repair work. Here we are on New Year’s weekend, with no power with our insulin in the fridge desperately trying to keep it cool so it does not go bad. If it did, we would have had a larger issue to deal with.
We called several electricians that night advertising emergency 24/7 services and each one said they cannot make it to us due to the holiday or it went to an operator who took down our information and offered to call us back when they located someone who can help. When we called YT Electrical Services, the owner picked up right away. We explained the situation and advised that we are diabetics and have insulin in the fridge that needs to stay cold. YT promised to send someone out to us first thing in the morning and true to his word, sent Ramon who stabilized our power and identified the source of the problem. He worked several hours and both he and YT stayed in contact with us explaining everything each step of the way.
Even though they stabilized us, we still needed to upgrade the circuit panel and breakers to a new one to prevent another issue from happening down the road. YT offered to assist with that and provided us options. YT personally came to our house that day to inspect the work and to discuss next steps. He then performed an act of kindness that we didn’t expect. YT took out his wallet and offered to pay for whatever we needed to secure our insulin, so it does not spoil. This one act of kindness brought the human factor into equation and made us feel valued and appreciated. Combined with the excellent service provided so far, we agreed to give him the business of upgrading our electrical panned to a brand new one. Same day, Ramon came back with all the supplies and began working all through the day into the late hours. By the end of the day, everything was completed.
This was our New Years’ experience and thankful we found YT Electrical Services. We recommend their services 100%. Hope this helps you in your search for a top tier electrician.

Great experience with both the office and the electrician. My first time dealing with any electrician and I was new to the area; this is the place to go! Gave me an accurate estimate over the phone, the technician (Chris) was great and recommended different products to enhance the apartment, and the work was completed quickly. When there was a small billing issue they were very understanding and we got it resolved in no time. Highly recommend!

July 2018, Electrician Techs disconnected the electric meter in my home and routed the electricity through another meter. ConEd says Electrician Techs did not file the paperwork and disregarded requests. ConEd now plans to turn off my electricity. Despite 5 phone calls, no one from the company has responded

Harris is an extremely effective communicator. He makes sure that the work he’s doing is in line with your expectations and shares professional suggestions if he thinks of a better way to approach the work. We had Harris install recessed lighting, including dimmers, throughout our entire home. He also wired and installed a chandelier and some pendant lighting for us. We look forward to working with Harris on lighting projects and more!

I’ve used York Electric a few times in the past. Always have been extremely happy with their work. The most recent time I used them for a complete gut of my previous electric service in my house which was 100 amp and had it converted to a 200 amp service along with changing and upgrading all fixtures/outlets/switches and adding high hats, and lights throughout the whole interior and exterior of the house. Also running wire throughout for A/V, alarm system and for the Sonos Sound system. Dennis, Tommy and the rest of the York Electrical team were amazing. They were prompt, courteous, patient with our requests, clean, honest and delivered a great product and service. They truly are professionals of their trade. They are a family run business that cares and it shows. I find comfort in knowing I have found electricians I can trust. Thank You, Dennis, Tommy and York electrical team.

Cool, but probably an nsa fake company

Honest, professional, reasonably priced, and on time!! With all the bad experiences with other contractors in general, it is an absolute blessing that we found Alex. He knows his stuff!

We had two circuit breakers go out on a Saturday, of all days. I decided to try Wise Owl Electricians after reading their online ratings and seeing that they were available on Saturday. I was not dissatisfied. Devon arrived swiftly, diagnosed the issue, and got us back up and running in no time. Both his work and his rates were superb.
