Overall, I thought they were great. PK & Altman was referred to us during a move from one office to another in NYC. On one hand the experience was limited because it was to disconnect some electrical wiring so that furniture could be broken down, and on the other, it was great because everything went smoothly - they showed up when they said they would, took payment the way they said they would, charged what they said they would, etc.

Had an electrical emergency and needed services ASAP. Roman came by in a very timely manner and took care of all the proper repairs.

Don’t use this service. Not worth your time. I had a simple job to replace sconce fixtures, booked four days in advance. I sent very specific COI requirements and was promised it’d be sent the next day. It never gets sent.
Day of service rolls around, and I call to inquire about the delay. I was tossed from representative to representative, promised the technician was 15 min away, that he’d send the COI shortly, that they’d call him and call me right back, etc. None of it happened. I cancelled services because it was such a nightmare dealing with them. DO NOT USE.

Klodian and team were great. We had to replace all of our recessed lights and add several new ones on 2 floors. They also added several dimmers and replaced all our switch plates.

They provided great consultation about our options before the job (and actually guided us away from more expensive options) and quickly shared a detailed quote which was very reasonable.

During the job, they put a lot of time into preparing the area to prevent it from getting messy (even wore shoe covers) and ensuring the measurements were precise using laser rules. They got the job fairly quickly (all in 1 day)

They also took all the COVID-19 precautions with masks, etc.

I called DAVEN ELECTRIC for a quote on a small project on Monday and on Tuesday the superintendent Alex was at my location reviewing my thoughts and requirements with me in great detail, by Wednesday I had a formal quote laying out the entire scope of work as we had discussed on Tuesday. The price was higher then 2 quotes I received HOWEVER the professionalism was at a higher degree as well. I decided to check the reviews and ask for references which as far as the reviews are concerned they are a top notch company and when called the references ( provided by the office manager Jen ) I was given more then enough detail and comfort that DAVEN electric was worth more then the price quote. Let me be frank, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR and that goes for hiring an electrician as it does for buying a car. I could be happier and feel more at piece knowing I had a NYC Licensed electrical contractor with proper insurance and highly skilled men which conducted themselves like a military operation with gentleman like manners preform my project. In short when it comes to electrical work which is life safety I do not mess around with fly by night unlicensed, uninsured, unreliable companies and you should not either.
