Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Electrician
Alan was very detailed with his inspection and servicing of both my AC units. He took time to answer all my questions. He provided a detailed report about each units with pictures of any issues found. He provided cost estimates with a couple of levels of products. He was not pushy at all. Just informative. He emailed the information so I have time to research it and decide what I want to do. Great job, very professional

Turbo Plumbing , Air Conditioning, Electrical & HVAC Repair Services Electrician
6 months ago the air conditioning in my room broke down, I did not give it much importance since the weather was perfect in my opinion, but due to the increase in heat I felt in hell, I contacted this company to schedule an appointment and they were really effective, they worked fast and have super friendly specialists, they repaired my air conditioning without any complaints, the technician told me that there were problems in the soldering that generated a short circuit and that is why it did not turn on, the technician did an exhaustive cleaning and put new tin on the electrical connections, I was surprised by his handling of the tools, I loved his work.

ARS/Rescue Rooter Heating Cooling Plumbing Electrical Electrician
Absolutely 0 stars if I could, OMG!! TOTAL RIP OFF......My AC is not cooling to the desired temperature during the day; it will sometimes work just fine during the night or when it's not hot outside. I have a friend that does AC work, so of course, I called him first. He came out and hooked up his gauges and notice that my system was low on freon and told me most likely I had a leak somewhere, but didn't have his equipment to do any leak checks. He charged up my system, cleaned my unit and told me to see if it starts working correctly. It actually seemed as though it worked for a day or so before starting to not cool properly again. I decided to call ARS Rescue Rooter (very bad mistake), to see if they could tell me what the problem was. I asked the lady how much would it cost to have someone diagnose my ac system and that I believe I had a leak. She told me it would be 79.95 and that someone would be at my home between 10am-2pm. First, the technician didn't get to my home until about 3pm. I showed him where my AC unit was located and came back in the house; 5 to 10 minutes later he was done. There was only one problem, he couldn't tell me what my problem was. He told me that my pressure was good (I already knew this, since my friend charged it up for me) and gave me a few things that could be causing the issue. We discussed doing a leak check and he told me that would be another $150.....WHHAAATTT!! So basically the 79.95 was just for them to come out. We went round and round, even ended up talking to his supervisor. I then asked what if they did a leak check and there was no leak, the supervisor said that would be a good thing right....I then told him but we would still be back to square one of me not knowing the problem, but out of the $79.95, plus the $150. I would never call them again and actually I called my friend back and he is bringing his equipment to check for leaks. If you call them, make sure to ask them exactly what you are getting for 79.95 and ask how much would it cost for them to tell you exactly what's causing your problem.Update: After DIAGNOSING my AC the right way and not finding any issues with the actual unit, my friend found that my issues were caused by the thermostat settings (I blame my wife for this). I have 1 unit with 2 thermostats; he says the way they were set, the heat and the ac were basically fighting one another. He set all my temperatures and my ac has been working just fine. I don't think ARS really tries to solve your problems; I think they just want to up sale you to getting a new unit, since my technician mentioned this several times. I even received a follow up call offering to give me a FREE quote on a new unit.....think the lady was a little upset that I was basically telling her that ARS was useless and that I would never call them again for anything.
