Best Backup Power System in Austin TX
Volthouse Electric is a local, family-owned business (which is very important to me). I would highly recommend them for any electrical project you have. I sent an email requesting an estimate to remove and replace two light fixtures in my kitchen. Victoria promptly sent a competitive quote and we were able to schedule the work right away. The crew was punctual and extremely polite, knowledgeable, and professional. They provided excellent service and I would not hesitate to work with them again.

Wishing I had read these reviews beforehand!Similar to other stories here... I called to get an idea of how much it was going to cost to convert an outlet for an electric dryer. I was told $59.00 to get an estimate. Based on my research it should only cost a couple hundred for an electrician to switch the dryer outlet. The technician that came out, Brian, was great. He was friendly and helpful, but their prices are ridiculously expensive. $1000-$5000 to switch an outlet.I understand there was a hiccup with the space that we had and it would require adding another small box but that seems outrageous to me.I wish they had a better intake process to avoid this. Felt like a scam just to get the $59. And it wasted my time.

Clearly incompetent, unable to to finish projects on time. Repeated issues of cleanliness, and time management. When installing cam lights and boxes failure to cut only necessary material away. Always leaving more repairs for other trades to do behind them. This includes cabinet damage, drywall damage and water line damage.

Grounded ATX master electricians are extremely knowledgeable and reasonably priced. We had several lights that needed to be switched out and the Grounded ATX electricians were able to point out the issues that caused the initial problem and the lowest and most cost effective way to fix it. Highly recommend them for small business jobs and residential work.

I first reached out to Efficient Plumbing last winter (after reading their online reviews) when I had to get a new gas heater installed. The guys were reasonable, professional, courteous and punctual. Then, this year I got my evap serviced and my split system installed and the experience was great again. They even cleaned up after they were done, it was like they were never there.Don't remember the names of the guys in their who installed the heater or would have written their names as well. James, Kirsten and Tyson were all great when they were here a few weeks back doing the service and install. And not to forget, Kudos to your team members who installed the gas heating last year.Keep it up Michael & team.

During the Austin Ice Storm in February 2023 my Generac Generator was having issues. Joe was responsive and put me in touch with a service technician/electrician (Mario) who could not make it out due to a full schedule. However Mario took the time he had to FaceTime with me and had me prepare to show him our generator installation and the associated wiring. I safely (with power disconnected) traced and walked him through the wiring as he directed via the phone in the rain/sleet. He identified that the wiring was incorrectly connected to the Automatic Transfer Switch by another electrician which is apparently fairly common. I contacted the electrician whom performed the original installation and he corrected the issue. Following that, our generator ran without issue and continues to power our house while we await local repairs to the blown transformer/bulk electric grid. Thank you Joe and Mario!
