Best New Residential Construction in Jacksonville FL

I've used American Electrical Contracting for several projects over the last 3 years and each time I am stunned by how polite they are, how tuned in to what the customer wants and how they are willing to provide suggestions, while they identify possible savings. Our latest effort was running power out to a newly constructed shed and garden area, over a 100' run. Ricky, Dustin and John arrived early, trenching, dropping conduit, running wire and clearly cleaning up after project completion. They explained everything they were doing, made sure everything was done to our satisfaction.....a stellar crew and simply an extremely positive experience. Thank you very much....don't change how you select your teams.......Here we are March 2019 and once again I needed electrical help and contacted American. I was not surprised when Ryan and Curtis showed up. Personable, extremely competent and expeditious. Pricing is competitive and their warranty policy is truly patron favorable. An excellent team.

The men arrived promptly, learned what I wanted, and did it. They were friendly & pleasant. The whole experience went well.

American Electric recently did some work in my kitchen. Jason and Mike were very knowledgeable and friendly. They did a wonderful job and I will use them in the future.

Had Empire add an outlet outside for my patio for my TV, fantastic and professional job. I will use them again. Ask for Steve II and III!!!!!!

We had a tech out yesterday from NH Electric to fix some electrical issues in our kitchen. They were early, friendly and polite and got the job done quickly. We will use them again.

They did an excellent job installing my ceiling fan. Cleaned up and was extremely polite.

Apple Electric is a great company to work with, we had electric ran to a new outside workshop and everything was great! Gary gave us some ideas on how we could save some money on the job and I always consider that a plus when a company does that!

I originally had a disappointing comment for this company but they did eventually rectify the situation after the holiday and as I promised them, if they did, I would improve my rating for them.

John ended up handling my job directly which helped get things done because that phone tag and constant miscommunication between holly and brian drove the 5 stars down to 3. Overall, the finished product came to fruition and I would use them again in the near future

It a pleasure to write this review for Nick Hatchett of Hatchett Electrical. As an architect I have been around construction for over 35 years. Finding sub-contractors who are skilled in their trade, take pride in their work and dependable is always a delight. Nick recently re-wired our dock and coordinated with our dock builder and boat lift installer for all the electrical and boat lift connections. Nick showed up when he said he would, did quality work at a fair price and followed up to coordinate items needing to be completed. I could not have asked for anything more. I look forward to using Hatchett Electrical on any future electrical work and will certainly recommend him on any future projects we design.

Very professional, nice guys came to wire my 2 1/2 garage, 2005, they did a great job, then hurricane Irma 2017 came took out that garage, then Pilot elec. came and wired another garage.
We’re very happy with this company. Pilot Electric also changed out our door bell and I use them for some small jobs as well. They always save me money, and that’s a win for us.

Electrician came out to look at a pool breaker that kept tripping. He did NOTHING for the first 30 minutes, while he watched the pool run, waiting for the breaker to trip. After 2 hours (most of which was on the phone with his supervisor), he determined I needed a MAJOR repair, which he could not give me an estimate for, then tried to bill me for 2.5 hours. I had another electrician come out to look at the problem and it was fixed within 20 minutes.

We can't say enough good things about this company. They had to trench electrical out to a pool pump and several other outside and inside outlets. The crew was most importantly knowledgable, and professional, friendly, respectful, communicative, and on time. We will definitely be using them again.

This is an excellent company to do business with. They did all of the work in a very professional manner. They were very knowledgeable of the work needed and completed it quickly and correctly. Thank you Crystal for all you help and Victor for the great work.

Although all contractors are very busy, when I spoke with Phil by phone, I explained what we needed. Another electrician had been here a few days earlier to explore why a GFI circuit was not working. He said that we would have to pull a new line from the main circuit box to the GFI outlet in the upper master bath. That would cost thousands of dollars. In addition, the drywall repair and painting would be hundreds of dollars more.
Phil had an electrician here the next day to investigate. He found that we could tap into a nearby outlet. The following day, he returned with another electrician to do only minimal demolition, and fix the problem. The cost? Less than $400!!!
Our drywall/painter will be here this week, to make it as good as new.
Phil and the electricians were timely, courteous, professional, helpful and tidy in their work.
They are now our go-to electricians.
