The two guys that came out to update our cloth wiring were amazing. They worked nonstop the entire time and were amazing accommodating our two dogs. The work was high quality and exactly what we wanted. We were able to add on a lost minute request that was completed the same day. The company itself is great! They came out quickly to give us a quote and scheduled a team to come out within 48 hours of asking them to do the job. I'd recommend their service to anyone that needs a job well done.

American Electric has given me outstanding service from the start of a bid to the conclusion of the job. All employess were respectful, on-time, polite, detailed, reliable orgainized, ready to complete work when called upon. After completion of the job I only had two items on the punch list which was not something American Electric did. My overall impression of the way the company handled themselves on a Government contract was very impressive. The reputation of the company with previous contractors on government work on military facilities was outstanding along with the Better Business review of outstanding made my decision of contacting them a very good choice. I asked for a quote for electrical work to be done for my business. The receptionist, who was sweet, helped me schedule an appointment for $125 to just come out. I needed a simple junction box of 20 Amp service. The electrician came out and told me he would do some research to find out how much it would be to run electric from a 220 volt service source and wire in a box to to run at most 20Amps. I received an email from Michael Hatchell stating it would be $6,326 to cut and patch to allow conduit installation in this proposal not including restoration of landscaping. This was supposed to be a few hundred dollars not thousands.
I called after receiving the proposal and asked to speak with Michael Hatchell, who I clearly explained to about running electric from a source nearby. After explaining and asking about running the electric from a closer source, he gets an attitude and tells me there is no way to do that and if there is a problem he is not at fault. So this Michael, who is a manager, gets an attitude with me. I thanked him for looking into the proposal I had originally requested and thanked him. Not only does he not say your welcome but he had the audacity to hang up on me!
I called him back and he was still rude after explaining to him that he was unkind and that he should not treat customers this way. I requested for Mr. Thompson to call me, well he never did. Maybe this will bypass Michael Hatchell! It's amassing that someone like this can stay in business. American Electric will from now on earn my business not price gouging Thompson Electric!

I was extremely impressed with their customer service. Jessica with their office was amazing as was the gentleman who repaired my grandma's electrical issue. They came out and fixed it the same day which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely use them in the future. Class act.

The Dalie company is by far the best I’ve had to do my electrical work. Over this year they’ve done everything from hanging a fan to creating a 240 outlet for charging my car. They’re always thorough and professional. They’re on my very short list for all my electric related stuff.

Wow absolutely the best Company and guys. Everyone from Todd, Dave and Larry were very professional. I called 2 other companies for quotes and they were the best price and awesome service. I had 3 items that I needed help with since I am disabled and unable to do any repairs myself. Dave and Larry both showed up. I showed them what needed to be done and they got to work right away. No wasting any time and the were very good and making sure what the issues were and fixed them fast. I will only be calling them for all of my needs.

Technician very knowledgeable; accessed the problem. Went over it with customer. Repair was made with supplies customer provided. 2 more motion sensor light fixtures + 100 ft wire need to be purchased for Technician to return to complete the job.

We needed a breaker replaced that ended up being more complex than first thought. The guys at Veterans Lighthouse Electric were so thorough.

Saw one of their drivers blatantly run a red light off the Arlington Expressway. A company that shows disregard for safety is one that shouldn't be recommended.
