Visiting my mom from Colorado and needed electrician to fix my attempt at new kitchen light install...old house with crazy spaghetti wiring. Tim got here 50 min after calling on a Sunday afternoon to quickly diagnose problem, fix wiring issue and installed the light (he worked fast and efficiently) and got the job done in 28 minutes! Worth the Sunday emergency up charge to ensure I could return to Colorado knowing job done safely!

Called for service. They could not come out for two days . Was told last night they would be here this morning I make time out of my schedule to make sure I am available and then no show. I call to find out what is going on I am told my service is not going to happen until this evening with no reason other than something more important came up which tells me my business is not important no call and they lady on the phone really didn't seem concerned. I canceled my new appointment they made without checking with me. What a joke.

I recently had some work done in my kitchen and used American Electric. Everyone from the office staff to the men working in my home were polite and very helpful. The electricians were always on time and were willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. The staff at American Electric are knowledgeable and hard working. I will continue to use them on future projects and I will not hesitate to recommend them.

I called GNH to swap out an old ceiling fan with a new one. All the wiring was in place. I asked for a quote over the phone and they said for some reason they couldn't give me one. My usual electrician was booked up for a few weeks and GNH was available the next day. They said it was a $50 service fee to come check it out which would be applied to any work done. Although I thought it was strange they couldn't even give me a ballpark estimate on the fan replacement, I needed it done quickly so I had them come out. The electricians were nice and showed up on time. But as soon as one of them looked at the fan he said did they give you a price over the phone? I told them they said they couldn't do that...then I had a bad feeling. He immediately looked at it and said $200. I thought that's a little high but I need it done, plus it's really just $150 because the service fee would be applied to the final price. They finished up in about 30 minutes and the fan works fine. They didn't show me an invoice, just took the card and ran it. I said So that's 200 minus the 50 dollar service fee? He said yes and ran the card and I signed. Later that day I looked at the receipt they emailed me and it was $200. I emailed them saying it must have been a mistake, and they said no...it was $250 minus the $50 service charge. I told them that's not what I was told. They basically said, well too bad you approved it. I told them I was told I was paying $150 and they just RAN MY CARD WITHOUT SHOWING ME AN INVOICE at all, no matter what they say or how they may respond to this. Then they stopped emailing me back. So BE CAREFUL and demand a quote over the phone...if they won't give you one...find someone else.

Although the problem was simpler than I thought the honest answer and the ability to just show me how a mistake could be made was wonderful. When I have future jobs I will definitely give them a call!

Absolutely fabulous! Super nice guys. Repaired my issue with the wire connection for my pump/sprinkler system. I also hired them to install my security cameras. They were here for HOURS and crawling around in the attic space installing new receptacles and ensured they all worked. They cleaned up after themselves and did not damage anything (as I've experienced with other companies). Very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend and will hire again and again as needed.

I had a simple issue that could have resulted in a lot of money flowing from my pockets. Paul promptly called me back and guided me to the hidden GFI switch in my garage. He could have sent out a guy & charged me hundreds of dollars to simply press a switch and/or repair something that didn’t need repair. His responsive service has made Jax Electrical Contracting my go-to electricians for all my future needs.

The guys at Elite did a great job wiring up some extra outlets and security lights. They did their best to hide the conduit and left no mess. I highly recommend them.

Great team. Very professional and very efficient. I can tell that they work very well together. They tackled downstairs and upstairs with ease and they were finished in about 2 hours.

On Wed. Feb 24th I saw one of Schuman Electric's work vehicles drive right past a stopped school bus that had its red flashing lights on. After I got to work I emailed them via the email on their website to notify them of what I saw and they apparently don't care enough to respond. If they have workers that don't care about the safety of school children and the company doesn't care enough to respond when notified of it, I am sure they don't care about doing their job right. Please don't use this company.
