First week of the shutdown my dryer went out.
When I went to get a new one I got an electric dryer but the outlet did not work. I live in a fairly old home and fearing the worst I put off calling an electrician for another week but finally gave in. A competitor told me that in order to just have someone out to take a look at it, it would end up costing me $135, but if I did the work through them it would go towards it as a credit.

Ended up calling Advance Electric, and they said they would send somebody out to do a free estimate, who could do the work on sight if I chose to have them. I feel terrible about this but, for the life of me I cannot remember the name of the woman I spoke with, however she was extremely professional and courteous over the phone.

Djay was the tech they sent out; he was knowledgeable as well as professional. My house is very old so we got to share a laugh about how old the fuse box was, and he told me he could provide me with an estimate to have that updated as well; which he promptly emailed to me the following day.

He testes the outlet, and opened the panel and quickly diagnosed the problem. He got my 220 outlet quickly reconnected, and was very fair on the price.

He didn't even make fun of how dumb I was for not knowing that it was two wires that could have easily been reconnected if I had taken the panel off and wasn't afraid of being electrocuted based on my obvious ignorance.

My experience with them was contract worthy and I will be working with them in the future for all my electrical needs.

The men that worked on my home were excellent. I truly am lost for words on their work. They were prompt and got everything working with team work that I haven't seen in quite some time. Each individual had knowledge in what they were assigned. They were polite and cleaned up everything.
On your list I didn't see a few things that they done.
My home is old and it needed alot of tender care.
The Godby team replaced the furnace ( replaced HVAC) and put in AC. Until this my home never had an AC unit. The place were they put it was awesome. They replaced all my plumbing which now flows better they replaced hot water to my washer. They placed everything right were it should have been placed.. The electrian replaced my 110 pole and now the whole house is 220. Each and everyone of the team were fast they done all this work within 2 working days and I'm ecstatic at how they breathe new life to my old home.
A great big thank you to the big guy (Mr.Godby) who told John, No limit just get it done. John thank you for everything you done to get it done cause when you said what day and time you were there.
I didn't know all the guys names but another great big thank you goes out to each one. Without you it wouldn't have been possible. You all made my life so much better. Out of all you guys done there was one snag. The dang gas company. They are the ones who slowed the progress of the gas flow. Everything is ready for the flow though. I better stop with this last big thank you.

P.S oh yes I can't forget about the ladies who work with these men. I only know two that contacted me Lexi and Peggy. And Peggy you were right it wasn't a scam or a dream. Thank you ladies. I have been given a true blessing and you all are Santa's helpers.

Ok, well i was in need of a couple quotes for a job at my company. I called around, found this company and that one . I had a SEVERE issue with one such business and was about to blow a gasket. Until I called MW_Elecric. Spoke with a representative named Robyn and wow she was great! Kind of told her the issue and the next couple days we spoke and I have to say Robyn and MW are hands down one of the best electric companies I've ever spoken with . If I was to upload our conversations I don't think anyone would disagree, this lady was truly 💯! She wasn't trying to sell me or give me the run around, she was truly concerned with my issues and wanted to get them fixed .

Travis and Jim came out super quick on a rainy Saturday to fix a fried wire on our dryer. Super professional, friendly, and reasonably priced. They didn't try to upsell us like electricians we've used in the past and gave my husband some advice and education on some other issues we've had. So happy we now have an electrician we trust :)

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They have been out at our house three times and they have been awful. Never clean up after themselves, don't fix the issues, and they left our house and said that they had an emergency and NEVER came back. We were stuck with a bill. CAUTION: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company was sent to us from our warranty company.
