This was my first time calling an electrician, and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience.
Austin was prompt, professional, and very very knowledgeable. Best of all, he got to me the day that I needed him to come (day after I called), and his prices were FAR LESS than any other electrician that I called. Ryan said needed to drop a neutral wire to fix all my office wall outlets. Returned once because another outlet did not work and that was just a trip breaker. Few days later noticed another outlet in office not working and called him back. Found there was a short in an outlet that had burnt wires. short was due to loose connection. I'm very certain this was caused when they pulled out my outlets over most of the house and that is what loosened the wire and caused the short. Ryan said not their fault and he would have to replace a new wire again to fix both outlets. I never did have good feeling about this guy and it was decided that I did not want him working on it any longer. I called new electrician and they did not need to replace a wire at all. They also greatly doubt I needed a new neutral wire dropped for the first problem). Just a new outlet and plate. fixed both problems. I believe this was do to poor work or bad work done on purpose to get more money. I found Ryan to be very overbearing and at one put kept telling me I'm rude and getting closer and closer to me and I was actually afraid. I would not trust this company. If you don't know anything about electrical, it doesn't take long for the contractor to know that and rip you off. Hate to write reviews but felt this was necessary.

I contacted Alphonzo Inc for professional electric advise and he exceeded my expectations! He was very professional, on time, & courteous. The entire project took only a few hours; which included all upgrades to meet current codes, a new kitchen hood, 6 light installation and a new ceiling fan. It was all done at a very responsible price. If you’re looking for a great electricians this is the company for you. Highly recommended!

John repaired the outside meter box that had pulled away from the wall due to cable settling for me. John was knowledgeable, responsive, and handled all the AES/IPL interaction to assess the issue, determine a satisfactory solution, and day-of-repair disconnect/reconnect. I would use John again for any Electrician related need.

I was on the verge of signing a contract with one of the major generator dealers in town when I thankfully asked a question about their lead time for installation. I couldn’t believe it when they told me 2 months. In reading another review on Google by Scott Smith for ERMCO generator work, I suspect I was communicating with the same company he was that quoted him a 2-month lead time. I was facing a 1 month deadline to get a Honeywell Generator (made by Generac) installed to claim an extended warranty promotion. I put a lot of faith in Scott Smith’s review and gave ERMCO a call. I am thanking my lucky stars I found them! This went from a stressful situation having to change direction on contractors late-in-the-game to stress-free working with ERMCO.

Josh and Russ were awesome to deal with. Josh came out to look at the situation and provide the quote. He communicated well, clearly knew what he was talking about, pointed out a few things that other contractors I called had wrong about generator placement, and had great turnaround time on the quote. He continued to answer all my follow-up questions very promptly. In my two interactions with the office, first to schedule the estimate, then to schedule the install, they were very pleasant to deal with. Russ is their lead installer and I was very impressed with his knowledge and attention to detail. I like to ask a lot of questions as a result of doing a lot of research, and I “helicopter” the job a bit just because I’m interested to see how things are done. Russ clearly cared about the work he was doing and took care to make sure the job was done right, not fast. He competently answered every question I could throw his way.

ERMCO came in with an attractive bid and did a great job! The quality of the install was excellent. Generator projects are not cheap projects by any means. This was a very fair price to pay for two skilled-trades people working at my house for a day with some hard-labor involved. A combination of good communication, good pricing, and good work made this the best contractor experience I’ve had in quite a while. Some other generator companies that I contacted in Indy must use tools forged from solid gold based on the prices they charge for 2 guys to get a job done in a day. I highly recommend ERMCO for generator installs (and I’m sure they do a great job at the sales and sizing part as well for those who want the entire generator project handled by ERMCO soup-to-nuts).

Farrar has integrity in their work.
I hired a contractor to do a kitchen remodel who subcontracted the electrical to Farrar but never paid them.
Even though they didn't get paid for the job, they still stand behind their work and provide a warranty. They came back and corrected an issue at no charge to me. The employees who came to my house were professional and clean.
