They came out to give me an estimate to upgrade my service on an older home. They asked about my overall plan for the place. Once I told them what my plans were they advised that I really did not need to upgrade. You can not get honesty like this very often. They have probably saved me thousands of dollars and a few headaches too. They will be my go to electrician from now on. Professional and honest company. Thank you

RC Electric was recommended by an electrician friend. The GFI plug in our garage failed, knocking out the entire electrical circuit in our garage. We had a refrigerator / freezer on the circuit as well as our garage doors. I called RC Electric before they opened, expecting to leave a voicemail.
Much to my surprise, one of the owners answered the phone and took my information. They followed up with my wife immediately upon opening for business, and they sent an electrician to our house to resolve the issue before noon. We were back in business with no loss of the food in our refrigerator / freezer. RC Electric completed the job quickly, professionally and at a fair and reasonable price. I would definitely call RC Electric again should the need arise.

Excellent service!! Noah and his team did a service change (single meter to dual meter base) at my house so that I could enroll in the IPL EVX program for electric vehicle charging. He installed multiple circuits for dedicated electric vehicle charging for my 2 PHEVs and also installed my chargers. He got the necessary permits and coordinated everything with IPL for the disconnect and reconnect. He quoted me an extremely reasonable price (I got 14 quotes for this job so I know that he charged a fair price). I would recommend him as an electrician and he will be the person I would call for my electrical needs.

Jerry just got done at our house and I could not recommend him more. He was extremely prompt, professional, and very fair priced (especially compared to some of the others I'd called in the area.) I have always found them to be immediately responsive to my needs. Their communication with me has been superb. Recently I experienced an electrical outage at my home. My local power company was unable to diagnose the problem. I contacted RU Electrical Service, Inc at approximately 6:00 pm to schedule emergency service. Mr. Bird answered my telephone call personally and came to my home immediately. He diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently. He explained the problem to me and then called the power company to advise them. In spite of further service needed by the power company, he continued to work diligently to restore power to my home. Obviously, I was completely satisfied with the emergency electrical service and quick response time provided by Mr. Bird. I highly recommend RU Electrical Service, Inc and I will continue to be a long-time customer.
