We hired two home inspection companies and separate electrical and plumbing inspections when we bought our home. Joe Schmo found all electrical issues the home inspectors found plus an item. Later we had them replace our electrical panel. They installed installed the same brand (Siemens), but did it for significantly less, and they did a quality job as far as I can tell. Make sure to include them when gathering estimates for your next electrical project.

Pawel came to our office and fixed us right up in our state of emergency today. We appreciate his speediness of fixing our problem and reasonable pricing. He is officially our new electrician.

I had an appointment scheduled for 9am this morning. It’s now 10am and they’re still not here. I adjusted my schedule for the entire day to fit this appointment in. Don’t post appointment time slots for 9am if you’re not going to show up at 9am. It’s as simple as that. Also, I tried calling the number they left with me and it goes straight to voicemail. Also tried emailing and nothing. Ugh.

The guys showed up on time this morning. They changed out our meter base to a 320 amp and installed an additional disconnect for a future project. They were professional and did an outstanding job. County inspector approved and said it looks great. Will recommend Advance to my friends!

I've used Godby numerous times over the years and have always been pleased with their professional service. Most recently, the compressor failed on my heat pump, and despite their busy schedule, the staff went out of their way to make sure their on call technician spoke to me by phone that evening. Joe insisted on coming out the next day to see if there was any resolution during this weekend of severe temperatures. While the unit couldn't be salvaged, I was grateful for the quick response and great customer service from the entire team.

He let me know, in detail, what was wrong & what I needed to do in order to get the job done correctly. He explained everything clearly so I would understand. John repaired the outside meter box that had pulled away from the wall due to cable settling for me. John was knowledgeable, responsive, and handled all the AES/IPL interaction to assess the issue, determine a satisfactory solution, and day-of-repair disconnect/reconnect. I would use John again for any Electrician related need.

You can tell a lot about a company based on how they treat their potential customers prior to being hired for a job. I did not hire ERMCO because their employee(s) provided horrible customer service, over-inflated estimates that were significantly higher than their competition, and showed zero contrition for their lack of professionalism. You can come to your own conclusion on hiring ERMCO for your project. However, you may find in doing so that their Google reviews and estimates have a lot in common along the way.
