I called Austin Smith for a variety of electric repairs that were needed at the house.

From the moment I called, it was clear that Austin was polite, respectful, and knowledgeable about his craft.

I called at 10am with an issue where select lights/outlets in the house stopped working. They had someone at my house by 1pm and fixed by 2pm. They guys that came by could not have been nicer or more professional. They cleaned up after themselves and helped me put stuff back before they left. The price was very reasonable, especially considering how quickly they came to help. I'm getting an estimate from them for more work now too!

I accidentally messed my electric up big time, and got the run around from a few other companies. RC Electric was very responsive and came out same day to look at the problem. They took the time to explain everything and answer any questions I had. They were able to fix the problem for about 10% of what another company had quoted me within 24 hours, and they were able to come up with a really solid cosmetic fix in addition to fixing the electric issue. They cleaned everything up when they were done. I'll definitely be using them for some major projects coming up over the next few years.

Had a second electric service installed at my house Ratliff was responsive and did great work. They pulled the proper permits and arranged my inspection.

New home electrical services

We have used Sam and his team twice and had great experiences both times. Once when getting ready to sell our house and requiring various work on a very short timeline to get our house on the market. We used SDF again after moving to get our new house updated and hot tub ready. Sam does a wonderful job and provides competitive pricing!

3/5/21 update : Noah came out and installed two sets of track lighting. He also had to rework the wall switch to turn on the new lighting. He continues to be very reasonable and does a fantastic job!

From previous review: Noah came out and wired our bedroom for a ceiling fan. Very professional - took off his shoes, cleaned up the insulation debris afterwards. The price was very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for residential work!

I have always found them to be immediately responsive to my needs. Their communication with me has been superb. Recently I experienced an electrical outage at my home. My local power company was unable to diagnose the problem. I contacted RU Electrical Service, Inc at approximately 6:00 pm to schedule emergency service. Mr. Bird answered my telephone call personally and came to my home immediately. He diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently. He explained the problem to me and then called the power company to advise them. In spite of further service needed by the power company, he continued to work diligently to restore power to my home. Obviously, I was completely satisfied with the emergency electrical service and quick response time provided by Mr. Bird.
