This is a fantastic small business that does even better work. They are honest and friendly and quite frankly I am honored they were able to come out and replace our old breaker panel.

Found them through Homeadvisor and was very disappointed. I've worked on around 100+ renovations for myself or with my clients. My normal service providers were booked up so I reached out to Mister Sparky. I knew exactly what needed to be done. They came out and quoted $3500 for about $500-$800 worth of work. I asked them how long it would take to complete, and they said we could have this done by the end of the day. It was already 2pm. So.. this means they were going to do 3-4 hours of work and expect to be paid ~$800/hr?? I've since had the work done by a more honest, transparent company.Also, my handyman called me a few days later and told me one of his clients called and told him Mister Sparky did the same thing to her literally the next day. They suggested the panel needed to be completely replaced. That must be their default to rack up a big bill.Don't get fooled!

I called at 10am with an issue where select lights/outlets in the house stopped working. They had someone at my house by 1pm and fixed by 2pm. They guys that came by could not have been nicer or more professional. They cleaned up after themselves and helped me put stuff back before they left. The price was very reasonable, especially considering how quickly they came to help. I'm getting an estimate from them for more work now too!

Fire department was called when the kitchen fixture smoked and set off the fire smoke detectors in the house. Fire department said to turn off the breaker, but i didn’t know which one to turn off, so i kept the kitchen light switch off instead. I called KJ Electric, and they replaced the fixture light ballast. We now have kitchen light and can cook again.

Requested an estimate May 4, 2018. Met with Brett May 11, 2018 to review the work needed & was told it would be mid-June. I called back June 13th & was told to call back June 20th to schedule work. I called June 21st & was told his company was too busy to handle the project. I have lost a whole month on this project. A true professional would have admitted to being too small to handle a job when he saw what the job was on May 11.

Great service and sticks to pricing estimates. Hired them to install a GFI for a hot tub. Arrived on time courteous and so easy to do business with. unfortunately there was a problem with my panel. The previous owner double tapped three breakers and they could not hook it in. Curt explained, sent pictures and gave me a surprising low quote to change the whole panel in order to give me some extra breakers. Second time out. Arrived on time courteous and finished the job in a timely manner. Highly recommend Ratliff for all things electrical.

We have used Sam and his team twice and had great experiences both times. Once when getting ready to sell our house and requiring various work on a very short timeline to get our house on the market. We used SDF again after moving to get our new house updated and hot tub ready. Sam does a wonderful job and provides competitive pricing!

Indianapolis has a great open shop option for your industrial electrical needs. Do you want what the industry is trying to sell you as an industrial electrical contractor or do you want the real thing? If you want the real thing, then you should call.

Here's a thought, hire drivers that don't blatantly cut people off in parking lots.
