Technician was awesome but I was charged way too much for a simple fix for the breaker and GFC outlet. Took the tech 10 minutes max and all he did was turn off/on the breaker and hit the GFC button to restore the power to a few outlets. Owner quoted me on the phone for a 2 hour job and when I called to explain it took 10 minutes and to be reasonable, he refused. Should’ve quoted at 1 hour and not 2 and not assume. In the end his staff has awesome customer service and agreed with me and reduced the charges; owner definitely needs to take some lessons on business etiquette. Have used them twice. First time was for some low priority, non-emergency work that we had time to get quotes and compare. Not only were they the only people to show up when they said they would, they also quoted at less then half of the other guys. Work was done very quickly and professionally.When our power went out do to faulty breaker panel installation that fried our panel (builder, not them) it was a no brainier to call them. They came out quickly performed the work and did a thorough safety inspection verifying that it was installed properly this time.

I asked Curtis Electrical Solutions for second opinion on the electrical issues of my old rental property. The owner walked the whole house checked everything and provided me with detailed explanation on what is going on the wirings and what are needed to be done. He spent a good amount of time talking to me over the phone on issues and possible solutions. I was referred fo them by family ! He had a great experience with a single electrician who came and got the job done ! I got sent a team of 3, the lead lied about how the outlet needs to go over the roof and gave an unrealistic fake situation to over charge us. Tried reaching out to the owner and help desk to hear various excuses ! Charging 1700$ for installing a Tesla wall plug which costs $400 is outrageous! They ended connecting using a 8ft cord but quoted us a 50 ft quote ! Will try this method and will be reaching out to Texas licensing authority in Austin !

The staff at OHMS were very responsive and were able to come out quickly. Once at the house, the electricians worked swiftly, efficiently, and were also good at explaining everything they had done, as well as answering all other questions I had (since I know next to nothing re: electrical). I'll definitely work with them again.
