Nextdoor Electric gets a Big High Five from me!! They were Awesome!Working on a re-do, I needed pretty prompt attention initially in switching out several old outlets (old 2-prong outlets) and breaker box assessment before plumber would complete his portion. Contacted several Electricians that I had previously used (1 of 4 responded and he wasn't available) so in a moment of meltdown mode I began searching the internet. Nextdoor had good reviews from more than just a handful of folks so I took a leap of faith and completed the 'contact us' portion on their site and low and behold they returned my call within the hour and Sal came by shortly after lunch. He assessed the situation, provided a very fair and reasonable quote (slightly less than I anticipated) and returned the following morning to do the job. Sal is personable, professional and was a pleasure to work with!! I highly recommend them and will definitely add them to my Contact list for further electrical assistance. They installed a generator. I would have given them a 5 star rating, but when we had a problem that I believe was related to the generator installation they charged me to come and try to find the problem without notifying me that they were charging. All of the upstairs power went off and then on several times. Because they connected all power to the generator we thought that is the only thing that could cause this problem so they sent the generator guy and he said nothing with the generator so they sent the electrician and he said nothing wrong with the electricity but he said he tightened everything and ended up walking around and waiting then charged us for 2 hours of his time and they charged us by the hour. We didn’t know they were going to charge us. So after his discount we still had to pay $235.99.Surprisingly we have not had the short since then, but we still feel that it was related to their connecting everything to the generator. There should not have been a charge.

We couldn't have asked for more. Tyrell came out on a Sunday, 2 days after Christmas and restored our power quickly. We had loose wires on a plug that shut down of our house. We give him an A++ rating.

Used them to install a whole house generator. They know their stuff. Might not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for. And slight modifications off of the normal process are not a problem for these guys to take care of. They are also very fast to answer their phones and take care of any issues that arise. They send you a quote so there are no hidden charges. what you see is what you pay.

First off I would like to say that I had a very dim lighting in both my kitchen and my garage (builders placed cheap fixtures). I requested a quote for candid lights and Mr. Cele gave us a very Reasonable quote for 7 candid lights. We were so impressed we asked Mr.Cele to come install 4 more. My husband has started to refer him to all his friends because he leaves his work very clean and professionally done.

I called Excel Electricians Houston to help install a new bathroom light. The old fluorescent light was installed on the ceiling and the wires were coming from the side, so for the new light we needed a new wall box above the mirror. The electrician was very friendly and the job was done quickly and very well from start to finish. I am very satisfied with the price he gave and with the quality of the work.
