Trevor was professional when I met him. We are doing a remodel of our kitchen, laundry room and den (which is a fairly large project). Trevor listened and all seemed good but we never got the quote and there is a $40 charge just to meet him. The problem and reason of the bad review is we never heard back from him nor a quote, so I basically paid 40 bucks for someone to listen to me for 30 mins about what I want. He did mention there was a shortage of staff (a day or two after our meeting) so he kept promising and pushing the quote until he stopped responding. Lesson learned is be upfront and set the expectations to a larger timeframe not to be under the gun. We are very patient as long as people are honest and communicate ahead of time.

Elizabeth and her co worker showed up on time and went above an beyond getting the work done. Cleaned up and let my home as they found it. Communicated through out the whole process.

I don't understand why it says open 24hrs. I can't get anyone to answer or even leave a message during business hours. Just rings and rings. How does someone hire this company?

I had a front entrance door that was rubbing against the door frame. The craftsman that came out was very friendly and said that he would replace a screw in the top hinge . He first tried a screw that would not go flush against the hinge. He then got two screws from his truck. He then took out another screw from the hinge and replaced two screws . These screws where both different in sizes the longer was close to 2” the other about an inch. It didn’t do much good and he recommended placing another screw into the jam on the latch side . I declined to let him do that. Based on what I observed when he started tightening my screw hinges. He was using a drill and not a screw driver. When I questioned him on this he replied that it would not strip out the screws . After he left I checked the screws he replaced and they are all stripped. They will not tighten at all. The screws had no issues before this and they all would tighten. Now I have stripped out screws and my door is still now adjusted correctly.

In response to the reply from this contractor: The reason there wasn’t a charge is because I had called to have you come out a couple of weeks ago and nobody showed up or called. So when I called the office they told me that the manager had failed to put me on the schedule in the computer. So no it wasn’t a courtesy.

When we spoke yesterday you said you could send Jay back out but on one else due to my vicinity. You also stated there would be a charge . I will be moving forward with a complaint to the BBB and the registrar of contractors . I had a reputable door company come out today and confirmed that the screws to the door hinges have become stripped out due to your service tech that came out yesterday.

To the man driving the silver truck with the Five40 trailer that has already got 2 other driving complaints - I hope you do business better than you drive!! You just tailgated me from about 2 inches away on the freeway when I was going 75, then you sped past at about 90 MPH! I checked your reviews and there's 2 others saying the same exact thing! Maybe want to take your business off your trailer if that's how you're going to promote it! Calm the heck down!

CLW Construction replaced my shower-tub with a walk-in shower. They did a fine job. The estimate was reasonable, and what I ended up paying was what he estimated. They showed up when they said they would, and the work took as long as the original estimate. If I do any more remodeling, I'll call them first.

I have done three major projects with JCON. What sets them apart is integrity. Daniel does what he says he will do, when he says he'll do it, and to the standard it's supposed to be done. When challenges come up, as they do with any big project, Daniel worked with me to problem solve and develop a solution I was happy with. I'm an engineer and very detail oriented. There's a reason I am a repeat customer.

They are professional and do excellent work . Rebuild our entire two story Redwood deck , great job.

Steven and his crew did an outstanding job on 2 TV installations. There were a few real challenges during the project that I had not anticipated but Steven came up with creative solutions and the finished product looks fantastic. From start to finish, including setting up the TV and clean up SG Installations made sure everything was perfect and all of the surprises were very positive.

My heart hurts while I write this. Yet again we've been pushed back another week to have our home completed from a major leak. It's been 2 months! They were quick to go out of their way to get their money, even drove to me for the signature, yet they continuously let me down with their follow through. I let them go a week without communication before calling and every time I call, 4 different times, they end up reaching out and finding a problem that keeps postponing the completion of my house. First, they hadn't even ordered it till i called after being told it was already being handled. Then, it was excuses after excuse. One of the most stressful things on a family is having their home disrupted. The fact that they dropped the ball so horribly bad and put us through unnecessary stress has just upset my family so much.
