We selected Desert Custom Flooring after speaking with the owner Alex Suarez who came highly recommended to us by two of our sons.

Alex arrived on time to meet us, and within 24 hours we had a quote that fit within our budget to demo our old finished and textured concrete floor, prep floors for new tile and baseboards and install a new backsplash in our kitchen.

Demo guys showed up on time and finished within 2 days.

Unfortunately, when Alex's team opened the tile at our house to begin installation, it was discovered that the tile (all of it) was defective. There was a lot of back and forth and wasting of time for Alex's team as well as my husband and I. We eventually cancelled the order from Floor and Decor and went with a company called MSI recommended by Alex. ****the defective tile was in no way Alex's fault or responsibility****

Once we were back on track, the entire process was easy and quick. Tile was all laid and grouted within 2 days, and new baseboards were installed in about 5 hours. My house looks beautiful, thank you Alex and team.

After getting the backsplash done, i realized my kitchen cabinets desperately need to be refinished :):) Next job.....

So I called them up to get a quote for a project. Unfortunately, it was something that they don't really do, but they were upfront about that and honest with who I should try to contact. I truly appreciate their honesty, and will definitely use them in the future for home remodeling projects.

Ray and Tatum did an amazing job on our entire home remodel. They renovated our entire kitchen, added a pantry, remodeled both bathrooms and every detail in between. We have used Hernan’s Custom Tile and Stone several times in the past 6 years. We have had tile flooring installed as well as counter-to-ceiling kitchen backsplash, bathroom tile repair, and a floor-to-ceiling layered stone living room wall. All projects are beautifully done. Hernan and his crew are professional, friendly, and pay a great deal of attention to quality detail work. We always call Hernan for our tile and stonework needs.

They installed a bathtub for us in a bathroom that had only a walk-in shower.  The estimate for time and cost were both completely accurate.  They provided good guidance as we chose the tiles and the tub we wanted, and their work was professional and efficient.  We're really pleased with the results!.

I can not recommend this company enough!!!! I spent 4 miserable months in a contracting nightmare with a company recommended to restore my kitchen/bath after a small flood. I have 3 children at home so not being able to utilize my kitchen was a nightmare. I reached out to Kitchen and Bath Remodeling and got an immediate response. I explained my situation and Burton came out immediately. Within a few days we were picking out materials (which he also helped me save money on) and a few days after that his men began working. They had my kitchen restored in LESS THAN A WEEK!!! Not to mention, they had to UNDO the poor workmanship that had already been done before beginning their work.
Please do not hesitate to give these a call for ANY of you remodeling needs. You wont be disappointed.

Covert assisted us on two occasions with a bathroom remodel. Initially, they were hired to perform a to the studs demo of an aged bathroom. They were prompt, thorough and respectful of the adjacent rooms. I was impressed with their preparedness and teamwork.

After our great experience with initial demolition, we had them return to sheetrock and tape the previously demo'd room. They were enthusiastically creative in matching previous coved ceiling/plaster walls with drywall and taping mud. It was art, not simple construction. James was/is the best. I am a seasoned DIY'er that is pleased with the quality of their work, professionalism and pride in their product. They helped me maintain the southwest character of my home.

They underbid the job and cut corners with painting. There's only 1 person with experience, the other 3 consist of 2 teenage boys and an elderly woman who needed constant direction. They bid it to be done in 3 days, took 2 weeks and some days they didn't show or call. They changed color and finish halfway through without notice. I don't recommend these people, they quit before they finished, so we had to hire another contractor to finish the job. Watch out for the female boss, she controls the money and all of the shortcuts they take.
