I highly recommend XLT. From the beginning, they responded promptly to my request for an estimate. I was very pleased with my choices for tile, granite, and fixtures. The work was completed in a timely manner and all of my questions were answered completely and in a timely manner. Leonel was easy to work with, which was appreciated since I had never done a remodel before. I am hoping to use XLT again in the very near future.

I highly recommend Alex and his team. Alex is professional, trustworthy and an expert in this trade. Alex redid both showers in my home and I am very satisfied with the end result. He installed tile walls & floors, replaced a vanity along with all the faucets and fixtures, he extended the master bath having to move walls, plumbing and set a new foundation. He even built a nice big closet in the bathroom area. Alex is easy to talk to and is good with sharing ideas if you’re unsure of what you need or want done.

Diamond Granite was professional at every step of the kitchen remodel. Their communication was excellent at all times. There were no surprises. Their product selection was of good quality. There were no shortcuts. Each tradesman was proficient in his abilities, courteous and willing to adjust to our needs. Nate and Curt are involved in my project. They did a new AC installation in May 2021 and redid the ductwork, and it works great. I was pleased that they only request money as the work progresses. With the supply of goods, labor shortages, and delays at city hall with the permits, it's been a process, but I'm well satisfied with the quality of the work. but Currently redoing the laundry room; the walls are made of of cement and stucco, but the tradespersons never complain.

From builder grade to Beautiful!

When we purchased our winter condo last year here in Tempe we wanted to update both of our bathrooms. We contacted Hochuli design company and got the ball rolling. We met with Scott & Lorrie only a week before we were to return to our summer home in Chicago. We were immediately impressed with their design showroom and them. With in a week they came out to our condo to walk through and understand our wants and ideas. After that we were under contract to have both bathrooms completely updated while we were back home in Illinois.

We had constant communication with our designer Amanda and contractor Martin. We felt a high level of trust allowing them to work in our condo while we were back home in Chicago.
They worked seamlessly with our building management and provided us with daily updates on the progress through the computer program Buildertrend. In fact having the daily updates with photos was like living through the construction without any of the dust! The preparation to prepare our condo for demo and construction was unbelievable! Plastic walls, heavy duty flooring protection etc. Their timeline for the project was accurate and they worked within our budget. We are more than happy with the results and would easily recommend Hochuli design & remodeling team to anyone who wants to take their project from builder grade to beautiful.

I used Handyman Connection to install a keyboard tray in my office desk. They showed up right on time and did the work quickly and I was pleased with the results. My only complaint is that it was a bit pricey for the job done, but the speedy service justified the cost a little bit. I called on Thursday, and my keyboard tray was installed Friday morning. I would use Handyman Connection again, but probably for a bigger job to get more bang for my buck.

It was a pleasure employing Premier to complete our kitchen remodel. They are a well organized professional group. Kept the lines of communication open, work clean. Great follow through.

In February 2017, I discovered wet walls and carpet in the walk-in closet adjacent to the travertine stone tile shower in the master bath of the house I had recently purchased. My real estate agent recommend Acuity Builders as they had performed well for a client of hers. Ken Hawk and Matthew Garrett of Acuity Builders came to the house and determined that water was going through the through the stone tile and breaching all layers of waterproofing.

Matthew and Ken worked closely with us to rebuild from the water damage. The entire shower was torn down and rebuilt with new tile. From start to finish all services from selecting new materials to installation, cost and schedule performance exceeded my expectations and I would without reservation employ and recommend their company, Acuity Builders for home construction projects.

My brother recommended Santa Cruz remodeling to me and they gave me a great price compared to other contractors I called. They didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need for my kitchen and it looks amazing now. I always get compliments on my new countertop and cabinets. We initially hired DRC to complete some plans for an extensive renovation to our Scottsdale home. Dale made representations about their ability to do architectural plans, engineering calculations and also complete the construction. We should have read the signs early, he was an hour late to the initial meeting and then, during the next 9 months it took to get the plans finished, there were lots of mistakes and omissions. It felt like I was marking homework from a pre-schooler. Every time the next set of plans were provided there were omissions, mistakes and forgotten items we had spoken about at previous meetings where I had kept notes.
Dale never turned up with any notes, never took any notes and rarely remembered anything we spoke about. His attention to detail is lacking and his pricing is ridiculous. He wanted $27k for a portable potty rental and $8k for a new hot water heater!
The initial budget was $650k and this was confirmed to be still on track at a meeting in May (8 months in) where we requested an update as to when the plans would be finished and when we could get a bid. We finally got a partial bid in August after putting pressure on him, the bid came back at just under $1.3M (admittedly there were some optional additions included that would have reduced the price by circa $150k if removed) however the bid was still $500k over all of his estimates. We now have a set of plans that we paid $12.5k for that are useless as most of the items we designed were based on the pricing advice of Dale coming in at circa $650k. They will have to be re-done by a real builder. DRC pretends to be a one-stop-shop with all trades on staff, however, they work out of their house and rely upon outside trades to do all the work.

It seems like DRC are a “mom and pop” outfit that are playing outside their lane. They need to keep putting up garden sheds and leave the real building to professionals. Do yourself a favour, KEEP LOOKING!

I invited this company to take a look and design a remodeling for my bath. Although I got 1 hour off time from the work, the owner, Kelly Brown, came 45 min late to the appointment. Before this appointment, she called me 3 times for appointment verification, but she coming late without an excuse was totally disappointing. At home, she did not make any measurements. She took some notes and then vanished. No follow up... Even the day she came, I sensed that she was somehow felt forced coming.... very interesting and untrustworthy company.
