Getting service in Phoenix during the summer can be difficult since many people have problems when it heats up for our summers.

Family owned and run and a great group of people. They do more than a 10 minute look before telling me I need a whole new unit as the majority of companies tend to do. They found the root cause and ordered the placement part.

In addiction, they got my problem bypassed and my 20 year old unit working while I waited for the replacement part to arrive.

This is less of a review, and more of a character referral. I'm an HVAC tech, I used to work with Aleks years ago before he started South Mountain Air. I don't live in AZ anymore, but when friends and family ask who to call, I still refer them to Aleks, simply because I know he's an honest guy that cares to do the job right. I don't get anything for these referrals, I actually haven't spoken to Aleks in years. But I knew him well enough then that I still trust him to this day.

You may not always get great news when it comes to repairs needed for your A/C, but if the news comes from Aleks, you can trust that it's the truth.

Many company came to my home and try to fix my AC. I had a horrible experience with them . Until I find Mr. Shawn's ads on Craigslist. He did the job less than a half coast then the lowest offer I had before . He is know what's he doing. Truly old fashioned professional. The work done SPOTLESS. Highly recommend it to anyone . I am so thankful for this company. My AC unit completely died and I needed a new unit ASAP - they were so kind and professional and quick! Todd came to my home to give me a quote and he was nice enough to take it upon himself to check out my swamp cooler I was using to cool the house and he actually showed me where I should put water in so it will cool better. He was such a genuine decent person it warmed my heart. Sam with the install crew was also a very kind person and we had no trouble with logistics. I’m sorry he had to see my family drama but even then he was still very nice and professional also understanding and relatable we chatted about our kids while he did the last couple things. Very nice people within this company and I would not have AC today if it weren’t for them. I am so blessed and beyond grateful. We are enjoying the cool air comfortably! I would 1000% recommend this company to friends and family. Thank you so much!

The work was not done at my house but at friends and saw the progress. In the beginning they were nice but as items thebut once the job started it was different. The bathroom remodeling issues, the tile in the shower has cracked, the shower head is to low not for average person height, the towel rack n toilet paper holder has had to be replaced since what they installed fell out. The ac and duct work after installed the house was warmer on one side trying to get them put was a process in itself but each time they came they said everything is fine n was trying to upsell nsaying they need an additional unit. They had another company cone out and was told the wrong installation was installed, duct wrong was incorrect. I would not recommend this company at all and would give negative stars if possible.
