I had previously called out a home warranty because my ac was blowing hot air. They wanted a ton of money just to diagnose. I called PAD and they were out the next day. They diagnosed before even charging me. Turns out it was a loose nut on my air handler that was leaking coolant. They showed me pics on their iPhone, tightened it, charged up my air, cleaned my unit and also looked at the Nest I installed just because. Quick diagnosis and honest about work and prices. They also give discounts for veterans and first responders!

These folks do very good work. Professional, courteous and the work was completed on time as quoted. Highly recommended.

I am typically a Do-It-Yourselfer, but I was uncomfortable taking on a project with my air conditioner because of the complexity of the system. This release of control over the changes being made to my home were difficult for me to accept. I am skeptical about businesses and assume they are including unnecessary add-ons and frivolous mark-ups. When I got an estimate from Aaron, he was thorough and found all of the possible difficulties they would encounter in my unique situation. He climbed through the attic and spent literally hours just to give me an accurate estimate. Other companies spent between 15 and 30 minutes. He took the time to explain what exactly would be done and was patient with my questions.
Overall, these are the highlights of my experience with Prestige:
1. They were professional, prompt and patient with a DIYer who wanted to know everything that they were doing.
2. Despite my single-pane windows and insufficient insolation, when I set my thermostat at 78 degrees my house is 78 degrees. It was 107 degrees outside yesterday.
3. Because we had to replace two units and had a difficult space for placing them, we had budgeted (mostly based on other estimates) for about 30% more than we paid.
4. The estimate was accurate. We were not asked to pay a dime more than what we had agreed upon before the work began.

I was told by this company that I needed a new ac unit so I got a second opinion the other company diagnosed my ac unit in less than a minute &repaired it in a couple of hours.if you use Fairview get a second opinion it's worth it

Have an outside water leak...most likely city pipe coming to the house - called a couple of the well-known folks and they were all anxious to write a quote, but less anxious to stop the leak. Second Opinion came out as scheduled...worked to find and stop the leak, and then develop a plan for a permanent solution - Charlie their guy...was courteous, knowledgeable and hard working. I have found my guys......

Great company! A professional team of managers and craftsmen performed the selection of equipment and installation of the air conditioner with high quality. And at my request, they completed the installation almost the next day. Prompt, efficient, friendly communication! I recommend to everyone!

Ive had a lot of issues with this company... but the one I cant get passed is.. they didnt set up the common wire to my Nest tstat.. just so when the battery died they could get another dollar charging me for that fix. I fixed it myself.. and found shady HVAC companies do this to scam costumers.

Wow I don't even know where to begin. I went here last week to get my car's AC fixed and was thrilled to come here after I was quoted a more reasonable price than a commercial company. I ordered parts to get replaced and they said they replace the parts for me. I brought my car in today and unfortunately the parts weren't the right size. I COMPLETELY understand that is not the company's fault as I am the one who ordered the parts. However, what I don't understand is the way I was treated. I dropped my car off around 8 AM and had heard nothing by 1 PM. So I called at 1:24 PM to ask for an update on my car and was told that it had not been taken back yet. Just 27 minutes later, I was called back at 1:51 PM. I answered the phone to an overly aggressive and rude man explaining to me why my car wasn't going to be fixed and that I was still going to be charged. Keep in mind I had not said anything at this point and was being talked down to as if I was inferior and dumb. To reemphasize I completely understand I brought in the wrong part, but I was immediately attacked when I answered the phone. Then I asked if I could speak and explained I understood why the part could not be replaced. But I also made a point that I didn't deserve to be talked to so barbarously. Once I got off the phone I received another call to reiterate to me, yet again, that the part was wrong (as if I was stupid and did not understand that before) and they refused to work on my car since I went off on them. As a woman, apparently I am just supposed to take being talked at as if I am less than and it is outrageous and hysterical for me to stand up for myself. It is 2022, get with it. Women are not lesser than, and should not be treated as so. I can't speak to how they fix cars because they did not fix mine. I can however speak on how they treat people. If you want to be talked to like you are a subordinate, talked over, and insulted, then this is the place to go. Otherwise, I would suggest going somewhere where you will be treated kindly. It is free to be kind to people, I still paid the cost for labor and they still couldn't be courteous.

We concur with all of the negative ratings for Consolidated. This company (we spoke to 4 different people during our dealings with Consolidated) lies to its customers, does not respond when it says it will, and misrepresents facts. The most significant issue however was that their technician misdiagnosed the reason the thermostat on our a/c unit was not working which resulted in a 2 1/2 week delay in its repair (when it was 109 degrees outside in Arizona). The technician claimed a wire from the a/c unit to the thermostat had burned up and had to be completely replaced. Consolidated also claimed it could not access the wire to replace it but, even if they could access it, Consolidated stated it did not have enough staff to repair it. Consolidated's assessment of the problem with our a/c unit turned out to be completely wrong. Even though we had a home warranty with American Home Shield, we ultimately had to hire another company to repair our a/c unit at our expense ($420). The company that actually repaired our a/c unit told us the repair was actually simple and should have been easily diagnosed by Consolidated. We had paid extra to have Consolidated come on a weekend since they told us they could not schedule a technician to come to our home for 4 days because it was a holiday weekend. Even after our a/c unit was repaired and we notified Consolidated that they had misdiagnosed the issue with our a/c unit, they refused to return any of the $225 we had paid to them for their initial 15 minute visit when they misdiagnosed the problem. We have notified American Home Shield of our total dissatisfaction with Consolidated and made a formal complaint against them. Be aware that American Home Shield allows its contractors to charge extra for certain services and will not require their contractors to return fees.
