I contacted A-Rated AC after another company said my unit could not be repaired and I needed a new AC unit, so I wanted a second opinion. A-Rated AC came out promptly and informed me that it could be repaired. They returned the next morning, and got me back up and running! All within 24 hours. I really appreciate the service and very fair price.

Eris was easily the best service I've ever used for HVAC and A/C repairs. One company said my units were bad and needed replacing. Eris came in and showed me exactly why that wasn't the case and fixed it with a couple hours of work, some caulking, a little lift in the attic, and a recharge. It was like the whole system was brand new. I'll never go anywhere else as long as I'm living in Phoenix. He's the best.

Thomas was early to our appointment. He was absolutely professional and courteous. Took the time to show me what exactly was causing my AC to no perform at optimal levels as well as giving me tips that I could do on my own to make sure things flow smoothly till my next tune up. Can not recommend these guys enough.

They will not return calls or service their products. They installed a new ac unit because they were sure that's why the main rooms weren't cooling off. Once they put the new unit in the rooms still weren't cooling off so they said I needed new uptake vents or something. I agreed to the $800 proposal and never heard from them again. They won't return calls, they won't help at all. Meanwhile my new unit forms giant ice crystals and won't cool the house.
Don't do business with this company if you expect any customer care.

Fast no baloney good prices. They don't try to sell you stuff they just fix your AC and charge a fair price.

The Director of Operations Steve Stahl is unprofessional and made racist comments about Mexicans during employee meetings. I gave my lead Charlie the reasons why I had put my 2 weeks notice and it included Steve Stahl making racist and disrespectful comments about Mexicans. As a result I was let go early for putting my 2 weeks notice and with the reasons behind it being the racial discrimination and the comments Steve Stahl made. This company does not offer equal opportunity. Our family had the pleasure of getting a new AC unit this past week. Our apartment complex Montero at Dana Park contracted with Alliance and let me tell you...we met a gentleman named Able Chacon and he was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, patient, took all clean protocols...I mean this guy was on point. From the moment they arrived on scene, to taking everything apart, his coworker Damien securing the crane...then finally putting everything together, running the new system for testing. It was great to see how efficient and well thought out Able Chacon handled this job!! Thank you Ryan for allowing me to give credit where credit is due!! Great job Alliance!! ??????

Not something that was normal.

Called for over 2 hrs straight never got anyone to pick up the phone... so they deserve a 0 star to be honest. And it was Friday from 1pm to 3pm so it wasn't like I called Friday at 5pm..

Our experience with Pro-Tec refrigeration was terrible. We hired them to fix a commercial freezer, that was operating, but wouldn't reach sub-zero temps. After their tech worked on it, the unit would no longer reach temps below the high 30's rendering it completely unusable. I contacted the office the next day (Sat.) and was promised that a technician would be at our place of business first thing Tuesday morning. No one showed up and we have been unable to get a return call. However, Pro Tec did charge our credit card over $1200. We were never given an invoice, any supporting docs or shown any old parts. I called another company and their tech was out the following day and completed the original repair, but also repaired the damage apparently caused by the Pro Tec (which is why it would no longer reach freezing temps after his 'repair'). I understand that people make mistakes, but Pro-Tec's complete lack of customer support and follow through, after the sale, is completely inexcusable in my book.

BEWARE do not get involved with this company. CMI was sent to me by my warranty company American Home Shield. I was scheduled to have my AC unit replaced. The day before the replacement I checked with the warranty company to make sure everything was reported because I was advised I could not replace my unit without the warranty company signing off on the replacement. The day of the replacement the warranty company still had not received the diagnosis. I contacted CMI to inform them I did not want the unit replaced until the warranty company was aware. After going back and forth I finally requested the install to be canceled. For two weeks I have been calling requesting a refund from the money I paid since I did not have the unit installed. They have hung up on me, at times wont answer my calls if I call from my number, I’m always told accounting is not available, then I was told I needed to speak with the owner who is never available. Two weeks later no refund and no response so I have just decided to review them and work with an attorney to report them to American Home Shield, the Better Business Bureau, the Az State Registrar of Contractors and anyone else that I find who should be aware. I wish I would have read the reviews before I started dealing with them.
