We recently moved in to our house, and one of the first items on our list was to replace two picture windows with windows that open. When the glass company was replacing the second of the windows, they found mold and rot in the wall. A local religious organization I’m in maintains a list of recommended contractors. AM/PM was on the list, and when I googled them, I was astounded to see that a contractor got such good reviews. I booked them immediately - and I’m here to add one more. They’ve been communicative, responding immediately over email, and have done excellent, precise work. When they fell behind on the timeline because one of their workers didn’t come in one day, they offered to work over the weekend to make it up. Our project lead even offered to drive over and show me tile samples because I wasn’t understanding the type that was needed for the shower floor. Who does that? They also worked seamlessly with our homeowners insurance company. I’m still in awe that this has been such a smooth experience. I recommend them without reservation.

I have had the best experience with this company. I had been living in my apartment for only 2 1/2 months and I became very ill. I noticed a mildew smell coming in badly, and I called ASAP restoration and was given advice of what to do and useful information. ASAP restoration had referred me to a company to come out and do mold testing within 24hrs. Come to find out there had been mold in the walls and was not properly fixed from previous water damage. I am so thankful to have made that call when I did, it was inhabitable environment to continue to live in with myself and children. I am definitely going to keep them for future reference and will recommend them to anyone in need! Ken and his team did an INCREDIBLE job. They were so efficient, respectful and great to work with. Ken is an excellent communicator and the project was seamless. We had our entire home tiled, wall replaires/painted, an additional room added to our kitchen, partial bath remodel and a total kitchen remodel. Our home looks better than we expected and we cannot say enough positive things about Acuity. We hope to work with Ken and his crew again in the near future.

On 11.28.20, a water leak in my spare bathroom caused significant damage to the dry wall and kitchen & bathroom cabinets. The 1st restoration company provided the mitigating services. I chose to hire a family business for the rebuilt and went with Cinnabar. That was the worst decision I ever made in regards to home repair. Not only was the coordination of jobs a disaster but the work was shoddy and unacceptable. The job took almost 2 months to complete. I had to repaint the bathroom walls due to blotches on the wall (they did reimburse me for that). By 1.9.21 many things that Cinnabar did started falling apart. Some of my shelves under my kitchen cabinets fell, a few drawers in the bathroom and kitchen also fell, one kitchen cabinet was not secured and was sliding around, the toe board fell off, the caulking around the bathroom vanity began to crack. They came back & “fixed” the shoddy work. However, by 2.14.21 another drawer fell off. I finally contacted Mark the owner & advised him I would be filing complaints as a result of the horrible work conducted by his company. He asked that I give him the opportunity to make it right. He showed up & fixed the drawer and the sliding shelve. On 4.2.21, the sliding shelve that he fixed came off the track again and fell off, preventing me from even closing the cabinet doors. I contacted Mark but he was not available to come & fix his own shoddy work. He expected me to wait 5 days to get it fixed. Now I have to hire someone else to get it done. It seems they used the old brackets to put things back together. I have no doubt that my insurance paid for new hardware. They also charged my insurance for packing up and resetting the items taken out from the kitchen cabinets. The packing was done by the 1st restoration company . Cinnabar never pack one single item but they billed my insurance for it.

In 2 months, there was approximately 22 people in & out of my home as Covid raged on. As a widowed senior with underlying medical conditions, I was terrified, but the work needed to get done. I have often wondered if my late husband had been around, if the end result (of the work) would have been different.

Complaints are currently being filed with AZ ROC, Consumer Affairs (Attorney Generals office) and the BBB. Save yourself a lot stress, frustration and money and don’t hire this terrible company.

This company was professional and on time. The job was completed in time and they made the overall process very easy and simple. Would highly recommend this company.

We had a house fire/lightning strike 19 months ago and still not close to completion. It has been one error after another, poor communication, and submitting sub par estimates. What they will say and do are completely different. They don't seem to care or speak knowledgeable about city codes and details of the job. I don't recommend or have confidence in this company. They seem overworked and not engaged in the project. You know it's a bad sign when after you sign a contract you are the one doing most of the follow up and feel like you work for the company. They actually sent the wrong house estimate to our insurance company. They aren't detailed oriented. They will blame the insurance company for not providing funds for damage and things not covered. They either have 1 star reviews or 5 star reviews. That's not a good sign. Don't do it!!!! We highly recommend a public adjuster and they are unable to effectively deal with the insurance company. I am writing this to save you a nightmare.

It is rare to find a company nowadays that exemplifies the term: Great Customer Service. Gateway Restoration is such a company. Everyone we worked with--from the top echelon to the demo crew--was professional, responsive and empathetic. We highly recommend them.
