John came first and cleaned septic line. He arranged for josh to come with camera. Josh came with camera and showed other problems and explained what needed to be done. I liked that he arranged for crew to dig, replaced pipe, arranged for inspection, and crew to return to fill area. All men very polite and professional. All deserve 10 rating and company needs to be proud of their team.

The plumbers office called 30 minutes prior to arrival. Plumber arrived on-time and performed the job right the first time. We where even able to add installation of a new garage dispenser, without a hugh jump in price.

After winter storm Uri, most plumbers were working hard and charging between $800-$1k for the installation alone of a water heater. My home is only 2 years old and the plumbing/HVAC was done by L&S. I called on Thursday after the storm and a repair tech was at my house Saturday morning (lightning fast compared to the vast majority of stories I’ve heard). The technician installed the new water heater in 1 hr ($125/hr labor) and I was given the water heater at cost. This company decided to help their customers after the devastating storm rather than take advantage of the situation. People like this give me hope for contractors and the willingness to be decent we should all strive for when help is needed. They’ve earned my trust and heartfelt appreciation.

From the first phone call with the customer service team to the repeated check up calls keeping me in the loop and finally the service call, Lasiter and Lasiter is a truly professional and compassionate company. Craig and team (4 in total) that showed up to perform the fix were outstanding. I thought I had one pipe break and it turned out I had three. I was fixed up in under 2.5 hours. My 2 new hot water heaters SWAT installed (March 2020) didn’t pass inspection when I went to sell my house this month (June 2020). Called SWAT and asked them to fix the problem, they said they city would have to inspect them first, I took off work, they never showed. Swat was non-responsive over the phone, finally got an answer to be informed I would have to take off another day of work to meet them. We’ll see if they fix them. So far, I have not seen them set the standard they profess.

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
