I wish there were 10 star ratings! I cannot rate Carrboro plumbing highly enough!
We had completed a bathroom renovation using a different plumber (Unfortunately, I did not know about Carrboro plumbing at the time). We quickly discovered our dream bathroom had turned into a nightmare because the original plumber had botched the job, leaving multiple problems: a hand shower incorrectly installed, leaking tub faucets, and we were finding water in our crawl space. I was desperate to find someone I could trust to evaluate what was going on and make the necessary repairs.
I contacted Carrboro plumbing and Linda listened to my concerns with empathy and got us quickly scheduled. Jeff, the plumber, came out exactly on time and quickly figured out the problems we were having, including finding the source of the water in the crawl space- the original plumber never even connected the shower drain.
Part of our bathroom renovation had involved tiling the bathroom and shower. Jeff worked meticulously to problem solve a way to access the plumbing without cutting or damaging the tile. This was no easy feat because it involved cutting multiple small windows into the back of a built in entertainment center that was behind the bathroom wall, and working through those.
I am forever grateful to Jeff, Linda, and the Carrboro Plumbing team and can’t recommend them highly enough. We will never use a different plumber now that we’ve found these guys.
Their pricing is straightforward and fair. They clearly are experts at what they do, and work efficiently, but beyond that, they really seem to care. I know of very few people who would have taken the time to save the tile work that Jeff did. We are extremely grateful. I give Carrboro Plumbing my highest recommendations!!

Justin Hogg was the Blanton's technician who serviced our home's plumbing needs. He provided excellent customer service from start to finish, he arrived on time, and his knowledge, experience, and skillset resulted in many successful jobs which included replacing toilets, tub/shower valves, hot water expansion tank, emergency water shut off valve, and outdoor water spigots. We will call him again to service any future home plumbing issues. Many thanks to Justin for a great job.

Streamline Services is excellent, and I highly recommend them! I called them very late in the afternoon and person that answered the phone (I think Felicia) was so helpful. She said she could send someone out the same day which was amazing. Greg the plumbing professional was at my house in under 30 minutes! He fixed the issue right away and explained everything. During a time when customer service is at an all time low, due to worker shortages and increased demand, it's incredibly refreshing to call a business, have the owner answer the phone and and have same-day availability! Mr. William arrived within an hour of my call to fix my HVAC system that was not blowing hot or cold air. He asked if I wanted to watch him repair the unit and I enthusiastically said yes! Not many people take the time to walk you through through every step of the diagnostic tests. Once he pinpointed the issues (a safety feature that cut the system off and some faulty repairs from a previous HVAC company), I was quoted a price to repair, I signed off on the work and and my unit was back to operational within the hour. The whole process was informative, transparent and easy. Then I found out he not only repairs HVAC, but also plumbing and electrical. Last but not least, I love to support locally owned and operated, Black businesses. This was an all-around great experience and I will be calling again.

I had my bathroom remodeled by Bernie and Seth and I am very happy with their work. They took out a large window and tub and installed a smaller privacy window with a walk-in shower and bench. They took out the old narrow shower and built shelves for a linen closet area. They used my existing vanity but were able to raise its height to a more comfortable level. They tiled the shower, the bench and the floor. They did a great job!

Outstanding customer service. Our hot water heater stopped working on Saturday at 3pm. We thought we were faced with the bleak prospect of a whole weekend of cold water followed by several days of missed work. But no, JD Service returned our call within an hour, Greg came to check out our problem within another hour. He provide a very thorough description of our problem and options, then had a new hot water heater installed by the next afternooon (a Sunday!). The price was very reasonable and the work professionally done. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or better people!

We called Jayk’s on a Thursday morning and they were able to come to our house that afternoon. Our disposal had been wonky and we were having leaks under the sink. They were able to diagnose the problem and install new pipes that afternoon. Both technicians wore masks the entire time. They were knowledgeable, professional, efficient and kind. We will certainly call on Jayk’s when our 1987 house starts acting up again!

We called to make several repairs to our home and scheduled an appointment. They didn’t show up or call. I called and left a message and they didn’t respond.
