We had a water leak in the pipe from the street to the house. Another company came out and could not find the leak. JD Services clearly explained our options, found the leak, and made the repair. Their service provider was polite and helpful. The following day we had what turned out to be an unrelated plumbing issue. They came out right away to inspect, again gave several options on how to proceed, and made the repairs same-day. We used them a year or two ago for a leak under the house. So far we have been very happy with their services.
Josh was very polite, personable and thorough. He showed me what he found and explained everything that he discovered. He gave me options for repair vs. replacement. He was able to quote me the cost of repairing/replacing individual parts, but not the cost of total unit replacement. I've asked him to come back to discuss further.

Mike came by to inspect our AC system. He arrived promptly on time and did a thorough, professional inspection. He found several serious problems and was able to spend the time to fix them during his visit. The issues he identified, although somewhat expensive to fix, were clearly real and necessary. End result is that his repairs undoubtedly increased the efficiency of the system and will avoid larger problems downstream. We are very satisfied with the service.
Feb. 2022. My garbage disposal stopped working and when I tried to reset it I realized the motor was smoking and the unit was hot to the touch. Since I had purchased an annual service membership I called JD Service Now and was able to get priority scheduling for service. Christopher checked it out and gave me 4 options for replacement or repair. I opted for a replacement of the unit. He installed a new disposal, cleaned up the under sink area so it didn’t look like anything happened! The new disposal unit works like a charm, so I’m happy to have the work done quickly. Christopher was on time, friendly and knowledgeable, and completed the work in a reasonable time.Justin was thorough during this maintenance service appointment. After checking the unit and changing out the whole house filter, he recommended cleaning the HVAC system coils and installation of a cutoff valve for the overflow pipe. I decided to follow his recommendation and have the cleaning done so my system will work efficiently. Justin is very professional and knowledgeable and was on time. Thank you for the great service.

I had to get a new hot water heater and since it was old they had to bring everything up to code.Technician was polite and very knowledgeable. He took the time to answer any questions that I had before, during, and after the repair/replacement. He was very neat and tidy while doing the entire job.What impressed me the most of all was that even though it was quite late on a Friday evening he did not rush out and took the necessary time to ensure that there were no leaks and that there was hot water. I am sure that is part of the job but he didn’t rush through knowing that it was almost 8pm on a Friday just so he could get on with his weekend.

Although it took two visits to figure out what my base issue was both tiles he was thorough and took his time. It ended up being a short so as a field service engineer I understand how hard those can be to diagnose.
The company kept me informed. They where on time and did a great job installing my A/C unit and furnace. They were professional and respected my home by covering the floor, stairs, and wearing shoe covers. After the job they went over everything they did. I will recommend them to others. I must admit the total cost did catch me a bit off guard, but plumbing technician Josh took his time, did the job right and the quality definitely shows. I recommend this company and will use them again for plumbing services.
We bought a 20 year old house 7 months ago knowing we would eventually have to replace a lot of things, so it wasn’t a huge shock when the water heater leaked all over our garage. Vincent showed up in less than 30 minutes, looked everything over, and gave us a few estimates. He told us very honestly that we didn’t need the higher priced water heater since there was only two of us in the house and we wouldn’t need as much hot water. He spent hours having to reroute pipes, replace and install items to fix 20 years of neglect. He even rerouted the drip pipe so it wouldn’t flood our garage next time and would just go outside the house. Same day, we have hot water again, no more leak, fixed water pressure, and zero worries about flooding. I couldn’t recommend this company (or Vincent) more.

I called JD to take a look at our water heater they installed a few years back. Greg came out and fixed a few issues we had under JD’s 5-year craftsmanship warranty for no cost to us. They also installed a few other items we requested at a great price. I really appreciate Greg for coming out and fixing everything literally right on the spot, which I was not expecting at all! He helped us out tremendously all around.

The service I received from the office when I called to schedule the maintenance was excellent and courteous. I could not be more pleased with Dante. He was on time, was very professional and friendly, and did great work. I would definitely recommend this company.
I was very pleased to get a response to my call on a Friday at noon within 2 hours they were at my door. The issue was minor, a learning opportunity for me on what to check on my hot water heater. Now I know how to reset the pilot light. I always remember to ask for available coupons and they always will apply whatever is available. Prices are reasonable, service fast, clear and very professional. I recommend them highly.

Theron was great. Very professional and personable. Unfortunately, he had to come out 5 separate times in order to get the situation resolved. I was very pleased with his work. What we originally thought was just a clog in the main sewer line ended up causing us to have to replace the entire main line to the house. When I called because my front yard began caving in around the work they had done, the dispatchers/operators didn’t seem to think it was something to worry with and didn’t send anyone out until I had to call two more times over the next 4 days. By the time they sent someone back out, our main line was completely backed up again, our toilet wouldn’t flush, and none of our pipes would drain.Theron came back out and dug our front yard up by hand trying to find the issue. It ended up being an issue with the city sewer line. He was able to get the city out here within an hour and they came back the next morning to get to work digging and repairing their line. Theron even came back the next morning to make sure they were here and getting it taken care of.Like I said, Theron and the other guys that did the work at our house were great. I just wasn’t impressed by the lack of urgency from the operator/dispatchers when I was extremely frustrated. The dispatchers insisted on only sending Theron (because he was “familiar” with our situation) and when he wasn’t available, we had to wait additional DAYS without access to our own toilet or shower.In the future, just send whoever is available to help the customer and relieve the frustration.Theron definitely deserves 5 stars but the people who answer the phone sit at 1 or 2 stars max.

When my heat went out I called JD service. They sent Noah out to troubleshoot. Noah got my heat working temporarily and ordered the parts I needed. When my parts arrived Noah was on time and replaced the parts quickly. He showed me what was wrong and what he did to fix it. I had him clean my HVAC as well and he did a great job. He was kind and patient. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC or plumbing.
I was able to have same day service, which really mattered since my kitchen sink was leaking! Turns out, the disposal was the problem. Chris arrived when I was told he would, he explained clearly what the issue was, and promptly fixed it! He even helped me further by replacing my HVAC filter! Great service, very profession, and quite friendly.

i really like the way this company schedules their initial visit and keeps the customer updated on the arrival of the technician. our plumber Mark was super knowledgeable and very clear about the solutions the company offers. he was also friendly and professional and very easy to speak with about my concerns. these guys just added an electrician to their service team so i’m excited to work with them in the future!edit 10/2022 - my experience with the electrician side of JD Service was just as stellar! From the initial visit to see what I wanted and needed addressed, to the actual work visit, Lewis and the whole JD team were excellent! I feel that I received excellent quality work, a thorough explanation of what work would be done, and the work was completed in a very reasonable time-frame. I didn't do a lot of price-shopping, but I definitely feel like I got what I paid for, which was excellent service and quality.

AC Stopped cooling, of course when it was the hottest week in North Carolina, and I was put on a waiting list with JD Service Now. I didn't expect they could fit me in, but they did. Kia worked hard with her service teams and sent Joey and Henry to my place. They were very helpful, very kind, and very knowledgeable. They quickly identified the issue, provided an initial solution, and offered options for next steps. It didn't feel like a sales pitch, I didn't feel they were being dishonest, I felt like they enjoyed their jobs and treated me fairly, respectfully, and kindly. It's hard to trust any service industry, but I cannot say enough positive things about JD Service Now, and specifically, two of their awesome technicians Joey and Henry. i don't want to call this company often, because HVAC repairs can be expensive, but if I have to, I will not hesitate to call them back (and request Joey and Henry - trust me, you are in good hands if they come to your house).

Mark came to a property under contract for a general plumbing inspection. He was great! He explained everything he was doing and made suggestions for repairs. Very thorough and informative. Really nice guy.
Rep was nice but spent 2+ hours trying to figure why the gas water heater was not working. Then gave quotes to repair/replace. We had another contractor come out and tell us in 5 min the issue and options. Provided quotes that were 3x less than JD! This just felt like a money grab to us as recently moved to area. We had the other contractor do the work at quote as promised. No issues.

We had Matt come out to diagnose and repair a strange whistling noise coming from our water pipe. Matt went above and beyond and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We had multiple gas pipe leaks at the fittings and manifold in my crawlspace. Dominion Gas came out first to verify leaks and shut off gas. Chris from JD Service Now came out first thing the next morning since they are not 24 hour service. He ended up staying all day to fix the multiple leaks and get the necessary supplies for the fitting and manifold. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. I felt very confident in his work and I’m so happy that I called JD Service Now. Dominion Gas came out promptly to turn the gas back on. Both gentlemen were polite, professional and knowledgeable.

He did a great job of explaining how things work, what the options for resolving the problem were, and very fair guidance ( not pushing unnecessary services, and also clearly explaining what we could wait to repair safely). We signed up for the subscription service and highly recommend them for plumbing as well as the other services listed above.

I had an issue with water leaking from my washer. He followed the trail to my crawlspace. Assured me the subfloor was ok. He asked me about my detergent & how many packs I was using because the leak was blue. I started reading the manual. It said possible causes of water leaking was too much suds. Justin McCowan is a excellent service Technician. My problem was sticker shock when I was presented with a warranty repair of $509.00. Justin was only on site for maybe 45 minutes replacing the PCB on the heater side of my unit then testing the unit. The basic job was a plug and play. Just think management should consider repeat customers as a valued asset for the company and not excessively charge for a simple warranty PCB replacement.
My husband and I have used JD ServiceNow for years. They are responsive, honest, dependable, and do excellent work. We had Sophie out to give us estimates on plumbing repair- we will definitely contract the work once we pick the best option. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

After getting a new washer dryer, the 220 outlet was old and stuck out of the wall 3. JD service came within 2 weeks and installed a flat, flush outlet for my dryer. It seems costly these days but they are reliable, warranty their work. He stated he would come back and move it if dryer would not fit.
My parents have been using JD Services for over a decade and have nothing but praise. So when I got my first house I had JD come out and give my HVAC a once over. The technicians for every service have been on time, friendly, and professional. Cannot recommend their services more highly.

AC system maintenance was done by Ryan. He was awesome! He checked things that I didn’t even think about. He was thorough and very responsive. He was very clear about issues that that might arise and recommendation on ways to keep my system. operating at top performance. It was a very informative experience & I am glad to have JD Service Now on my team to keep my system in working order.
First off they called every two hours to let me know that either the technicians were busy and to go about my day as normal or to notify someone was coming within the next hour. Super helpful with working from home and being in more meetings these days. Josh was also super helpful. Answered every one of my questions, cool with me overseeing his work, even gave some helpful tips on how to counter some problems I was having on something that we decided not to fix this time. Tub repair and toilet tank repair were done quickly and worked well right away. He also made to remind me of the 90 day warranty on his work and on an estimate he provided for another job in the future. Fantastic experience all around

Our service provider was very professional and informative. My biggest challenge is understanding the diagnostics process the provider is trained to go through. Our hvac system wasn’t working properly, but he could not find the issue. He recommended a service to potentially fix the issue. When he went to perform the service, he unplugged something and immediately found the actual problem. So we almost spent $180 on unnecessary services. I recognize that there may be some trial and error in the diagnostics process, but I am curious if this was a failed diagnostic work up or just something that could not have been discovered until the other service was started.

I called JD Service Now this morning due to a water leak and was told a technician would call me back within the hour to schedule a service call. True to their word, I received a call within the hour informing me their service techs would be available today and their tech would call me directly to give me 30-60 minutes advance notice to his arrival. That call came within 30 minutes, with Adam and Caleb arriving promptly. They quickly accessed the issue, explained how they would fix it, had me sign in advance to authorize the work at their quoted and very reasonable price. Thirty minutes later the leak from the failed fitting was fixed and successfully tested. As a first time customer, I am thrilled with my experience hiring JD Service Now and wish to again thank Adam and Caleb for their help! Thanks guys! I will definitely use JD Service Now again.
Called and was able to receive same day service. They could not give a specific time right away, so had me go about my regular day and, as they'd stayed, they called to give me a 30-45 minute notice when a technician was on their way. They arrived when they said they would and quickly replaced the pipe. They then waited to give time for it to set so they could test it before leaving. The technician was friendly and explained everything. Highly recommend. Cost was not cheap but was in line with any plumbing repair with same day service.
Work was done in about an hour I’d say. Charged $550 for the work. I’d say decent price could have been cheaper. But overall good experience

So, our shower faucets were leaking in both bathrooms, and we needed both pretty well and truly replaced. We called around for pricing and estimates, and everyone was saying they'd need to take out some tile from the wall to fix our specific problem. It did take a little bit to schedule an appointment, but that's this time of year, they scheduled the first appointment they had available. We just got our services finished up, took half the time expected, and was $1k cheaper than expected, with professionals who knew what they were doing, and were cheery the entire time. We have our new trusted plumbers for when issues come up.
JD’s is the best service in the Durham area bar none. My AC went out and within less than 12 hours the service was completed in a timely and professional matter. Customer service and the technicians they have are incredible and responsive. I had Dante today who was helpful and informative about every detail concerning my repairs. I can not recommend an outfit better than JDs. You guys rock! Thank you! I’m enjoying cool air again!

I needed a water heater replaced. JD's plumbers came in and evaluated the job, which turned out to be a challenging task due to location, space and type of water heater to be installed. The crew were totally professional and dedicated to doing the job with complete customer satisfaction. I initially called JD Service due to an issue with my furnace. I set up a day for them to come out a full week in advance. I took off work to be sure I could be home. They don’t call to confirm the day before, I call them day of and they tell me they will get to me today and give me 30 minutes to 1 hour notice. Fine. At 2:10pm, they call to tell me they won’t be able to come because they’re just too busy. I am just appalled at the level of unprofessionalism and frankly disregard and disrespect of my time. And I have now wasted more than a week not booking someone else and getting this issue resolved. They actually expected me to take off MORE work to sit around for them to maybe get to me another day? Absolutely not.Edit: I do not have the type of job where I can simply leave because that’s when another business has decided they are now available. Next time I’ll be sure to tell the patient in crisis to keep it together, JD Service has deigned to take my business. I have to take time off.
I was very pleased with the service I received from JD Service Now. Chris Adams located the leak in my main water line. After 811 completed their process to okay digging, Marcus Tush and his assistant Christopher came and replaced the line. They were all very professional and proficient. Also, Michelle in dispatch was very helpful in scheduling the work around my schedule. I have used them in the past to replace a toilet and will definitely use them again!

I had a fridge get delivered to my house on Saturday and my copper pipe was broken when it was bent during the delivery. I reached out to JD service now. They had me on a wait list for the next opening. They were able to get me in today (Tuesday) and beautifully fixed my issue. I was given two options and chose the one that would give us more longevity in the long run and avoid this from happening again. Vincent was very professional and clear with expectations around the repair. After everything was done he cleaned up and did the job quickly. Thank you to JD service for always being there whenever we have an issue.
I called JD Service Now to give a second opinion on what potential repairs may need to be done to my external plumbing lines. I specifically stated that they would need to camera the line to diagnose the problem and was told that there is only a $59 diagnostic fee. They did not state that using their camera would cost more than the diagnostic fee but without this camera, they cannot diagnose my problem. It was a waste of my time for them to have come out. When I complained about it and spoke with the Operations Manager, Tim, he stated that it wasn’t clearly stated in the recorded phone calls and that it was a gray area but he would not honor the $59 fee to camera the line. I will not recommend this company because they are not upfront with their pricing and their diagnostic fee does not cover what is needed to diagnose the actual problem.

Joey and Michael updated my HVAC and explained clearly what was done. They did a great job and left everything as clean as it was when they arrived.
These guys sent six plumbers over two days to make sure an unusual problem was correctly identified before doing any work. Peter, Nathan, Adam, Caleb, and David were a pleasure to work with and it could not have been any clearer their interest was in accurately diagnosing my issue and making sure I was not spending money unnecessarily. Detection of Leak, from city service meter on my property. Determined not inside, but probably outside water line. Estimate given, after 811 called to make required markings for other city services.Everything regarding repair needs handled very professionally and timely to date. Know when you are working with services from outside contractors, to some degree you are at their mercy.....but with leak continuing till repair completed...time is money. Work done and completed on schedule. Awesome undertaking for two fine reps of your company. Theron Williamson and Justin spent almost all day digging, drilling and laying new line to resolve leak problems with old line. Minimally invasive, reseeded area through front yard when job completed.
I rarely take time to write up a review but due to the predatory nature of JD Service Now I had to take the time to do it. I needed a garbage disposal installed, so I called and reached a call center rep who booked my appointment but wouldn’t provide any idea of cost over the phone. For $59 they would send a tech out to my home, should I proceed with install this $59 was to be credited to my account. On the morning of install I received a text and an email with the techs name and phone, very professional. Ten minutes after the tech arrived I had a quote for $846.94. I asked how long would this job take and was told 2-3 hours max. This was a new disposal install but all the electrical was done, countertop switch was installed and I had the disposal. $846 for 2 hours of work. A plumbing tech might make $25-$40 an hour or depending on experience. At this point you have a tech in your home, you’ve paid your fee and nearly feel obligated to use them. I called a local, also licensed, plumber and received a quote over the phone of $150-$200. At this point I’ve got a survey and replied with a frown, I got a call from a gentleman who I suppose was the service manager explaining away why they charge so much. Who cares? How can one plumber make a perfectly good living charging fair prices and yet you have this large company, doing far more business taking advantage of people daily. I’m concerned for all those that see the phenomenal google reviews and so quickly trust a company based on that, these stellar reviews allow this company to further take advantage of their customers.Get multiple quotes, buyer beware. I will be reporting this business to the BBB.

Technician did good work. Stayed at it till the job was done. Been awhile since hiring a plumber so seemed a little costly but sometimes one has to pay for knowledge and experience.

I appreciated that I was kept informed of the status of the job, the service person ( Joshua) was ontime and mindful of COVID precautions and wearing show covers. He was very thorough and took a look at the areas that were leaking. The price was also less than the other quote I got and the fee to estimate the job was also less. Overall super happy the repair and water valve replacements were done the same day. Would recommend again!! The only downside I see is that the hours may not run as late in the day…

We're very satisfied with the service that JD Service provided us to resolve our main sewer line clogging problem. The technician David was knowledgeable and he quickly identified the issue. He even dug out the street clean-out and removed two big tree roots to clear the pipe before the actual repair began. The technician (I think it's Andy) doing the repair was also very good and professional. We will definitely use their service in the future.
Roy replaced and repaired my dryer duct today (two different sections) . He crawled under the house, then reviewed photos of the issue with me and discussed repair options. The work was done thoroughly and in a timely manner. I thought the price was very fair considering the time spent. Roy was candid with me, and did not push unnecessary repairs or additional services on me. The office staff (Kim and John) were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Note that they don't make appointments: you get on the schedule and are contacted near the time the technician is available. So, no four-hour time window, but only a real plus if you work close to home. I would work with JD Service Now again, and would recommend them to family/friends/neighbors.

About an hour after calling JD Service Now, I had a plumber en route to unclog my sewer drain. After some inspecting and troubleshooting, Theron was able to get the drain successfully unclogged, and gave me clear quotes for needed repairs to prevent future clogs. Another plumber I had called earlier still has yet to return my phone call. I appreciate that JD Service Now is responsive, and I'm glad that they were able to make it out same day, even though it after noon that I called.

JD Plumbing has been a great company to work with. I called on a Sunday with a plumbing problem and a live person answered the phone! After our plumbing issue was repaired, we decided to go with a water treatment system. Aaron came to the house to do a water analysis and went over the results with me. Based on what it showed, he gave us 4 written options to alleviate the problem with estimates. Each thoroughly explained what was involved with each installation. He left it with me so I could discuss them with my husband. The installation was quick and Aaron showed me how to maintain it. He came back a few days later to test the water again and make sure everything was working properly. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He is a very nice, respectful, young man. Let me start by saying that it took maybe two and half hours from phone call, to service on site. I know it can't always work that way for everyone but I'll add that communication was constant throughout the whole process. Sophie was knowledgeable, efficient with time, and friendly. It's never a fun experience to have a leak, or deal with water in the home in general, she and the company saved the day. I look forward to hopefully not having an emergency anytime soon, but if I do, I'll be sure to call again.
In order to save money we had two lesser qualified handyman services out to fix the issue we were having with our water pressure and knocking pipes. Neither were able to fix the problem. Within 2 hours of calling JD Service Marcus expertly diagnosed and repaired the issue for a reasonable price. I wish we would have called months ago!

JD was very responsive as my call was made Thursday afternoon regarding disposal leaking.I got a return call within the hour and followup call the that evening for further details. I received a call the next morning at 7:45am and had a technician Sophia and arrived at 8:30am.She located water leak in disposal at which time we decided to replace the unit of several years usage. Our rental property AC stopped working on a Friday so I googled service companies and chose the highest rating one. They first said the next day, but informed us there was no technician the next day and then the same on the third day (excuse was it was weekend which is understandable) and finally got someone on the fourth day. The technician quickly found out that we need a new blower and estimated cost $1522 with $57 off coupon on their site. I thought that was really hefty and tried to ask him to break down to labor and parts. But he says that their company does not do that and the price is firm and non-negotiable. It was a hot day and the tenant had endured a few days so I had no choice but accept it. If it were for myself living there, I would have had shopped around. It took him a couple of hours to get the part and fixed the problem. The invoice I got shows the part itself is only $260! The labor cost $1262 seems to be extremely steep. So I googled the cost for replacing a blower. The average total cost including parts is $450 and upto $800 for big blowers. Our blower is only a small 1/2HP for a 1600 sq foot house.

We recently bought a new dryer but the ventilation in our house needed repairing before it could be installed. The JD Service technician arrived right on time and after assessing the situation provided a few different solutions for the repair. Everything was explained thoroughly and carried out exactly as described. The technician, Noah, even went above and beyond and installed the new dryer for us! It wasn’t part of the job but he took the time to go the extra mile without hesitation. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with this company. Noah was diligent , professional, polite, and honest throughout the entire process. There’s no question who I’ll call for my future HVAC needs!

Extremely happy with the professional service. My technician was professional, friendly and willing to answer all of my questions. I recently changed out my thermostat control to a smarthome control. Dante was able to correct all of the problems of my much older home wiring and get it to work with my smarthome control. I highly recommend JD Service Now for all your plumbing needs. About ten days ago, I noticed my kitchen sink was gurgling when I ran my washing machine or ran the shower for a while. It started to gurgle when the toilet flushed, as well. I knew this wasn’t normal, as it hadn’t happened previously in the years I’ve lived in this house. So, I called Roto Rooter. They sent out a man who didn’t take me seriously at all, he treated me like I was imagining things and wasting his time. He wouldn’t even go look under the house at anything, he just ran some water, said nothing was wrong, and left. A few days later, I heard dripping, looked under my house, and saw water all over the place and a clog busted out of a pipe. So, I called JD Service Now. They couldn’t send someone out the same day, but they arrived first thing the next morning. The plumber they sent was courteous, thorough, and efficient. He got rid of the clog, pinpointed the damaged area, and gave us options for the repair. I couldn’t be happier. JD Service Now is an honest company that will take you seriously and make sure the issue is fixed, without overcharging. They’re good people doing good work.

These guys came in, drained the water from under our home, took our old dead sump pump out and replaced it, put plastic down under the house and everything is working great! They also ripped out all our old duct work and took our old system away and replaced everything. I feel so much better knowing that we have a system that is going to work properly now! They did all this in 2 days in the rain and cold and still did a great job! Thanks guys!
After looking over areas of concern, Sophie gave service/repair options with prices. She answered my questions regarding the different options and got right to work once I made a decision.Sophie had a small helper (my 5 yr old son) she was super patient with him, explained what she was doing and even let him help, it was the highlight of his day.

Recently on a Saturday afternoon, Sophie provided emergency plumbing service to repair a water supply hose malfunction to an upstairs toilet that have been running for 24-36 hours. We were out of town and a neighbor notice water dripping at our front entrance and notified us. We have an Annual maintenance agreement, (which I would highly recommend) with JD Service Now. We immediately called to get them to come. Sophie is committed to JD Service customers & has a great work ethic, she interrupted her Saturday and came to our rescue. She took care of the running toilet & checked out the other toilets and outside water pressure making sure everything else was okay. The damage to our home is $55K. We are in the process of reconstruction. Thank you to Sophie for your quick response. It could have been a lot worse. We can not recommend JD Service Now enough. They also provide us HVAC service. Just wanted to share a great experience with this plumbing repair company. I called yesterday, scheduled an 8 am appointment for today. The technician, Josh, was here for an hour and resolved all issues. Very informative, professional and reasonably priced. No upcharge for a weekend holiday call.
Theron did a great job and turned a bad day for a homeowner (water leaking through the ceiling) into a great service experience! He even took a video of the new water heater explaining everything about it so I didn't have to go up into the attic to see the work he had done. I would recommend JD Service Now to anyone!

Wow!! I was hoping to get my emergent plumbing repair done same day on a Saturday and what I got was a completed plumbing repair and renewed hope for service contractors. Mark at JD service now was excellent!!! His service was superb and he went above and beyond in helping me understand the plumbing needs in my house. We will definitely use them again.
Well...the service was delivered in a timely and professional manner by David. He was very cordial, forthcoming with information about the heater and what may be wrong with it. The only issue was that no one told me that I will have to pay extra for diagnostic in addition to $40 odd I paid for his visit. Compared to other service providers, it is very expensive and I simply could not afford it and had to send David away without getting my water heater repaired.

Kyle came out to service my broken old AC unit. While the actual fix was cheap (another failed capacitor), he explained the various areas of concern he had and happily explained what he was looking at. He was not trying to push me into a new unit - I brought up replacing it, so I didn't feel pushed to replace it (we were planning on replacing this unit next year anyway). He replaced the capacitor to get us through the weekend nice and cool, and will be back Monday to replace the unit. Very friendly and happy with the process so far!

I had a problem with sewage backup that a few other people tried to fix. JD SERVICE NOW was called and responded quickly to my cry for help. Theron was the plumber who came out he diagnosed the issue quickly and professionally using a camera to find the blockage problem. He gave us options for cleaning out or repair and his professional opinion on what would work best. The next day they returned on time to do the work. It was done very well. As a Customer since 2017, JD services has been great with checking on my heating and cooling systems and making sure that are in good shape as well as running efficiently. They even go as far to keep and long history report of my past repairs with them and show me pictures of items they checked so I know exactly what & where the problem is or will be. Their pricing has been competitive too so I always end up them so I don’t end paying more for something I don’t need.

My wife called JD Service to replace a kitchen sink faucet. Two very nice professional guys came and looked at the sink and I had already purchased the faucet and all they needed to do was to install it and remove the current faucet. They gave me a price that they would charge which I found to be twice the amount I had paid a previous plumber. So I told them that if that was their fee, then we could not make a deal today. Then he told me that there is a $68 fee for the service call. So even though they performed no service, they still charged $68. Fortunately I had a $50 gift card from JD Service, but he said that since they did not perform a service, the gift card could not be honored. I began to push back a bit and stated that they came to my house and that was service. He called his supervisor and then agreed to honor the gift card. So I gave them the card and $10 for there trouble. I am confident that they knew how to do the job, but their fee for services are way too high in my opinion.
I was completely impressed with all aspects of dealing with Greg Degenhardt. He was a pleasure to work with starting from his arrival, to his diagnosis, and the performance of the repair. He completed his work in under an hour and showed me the result of his efforts. Final adjustments later and Greg was on his way to the next satisfied Customer. Theron evaluated a main sewer line plumbing issue for me. I obtained multiple quotes with recommendations and Theron was not only the most thorough with his inspection and evaluation, but also provided a few options to consider. The pricing was competitive and reasonable as well over the other companies.
I was having issues with my gas hot water heater not staying lit. Josh worked hard on the problem all day and tried a number of parts. Unfortunately none of the parts he had worked, calling the manufacturer of my hot water heater he was able to track down the correct part. He was not able to finish the repair that day due to the part being ordered. I was kept up to date by Michelle and she called everyday to update me on the status of the part. Once the part came in Josh came back and installed the new part along with cleaning up the burner and vents. He was able to get it lit and stuck around to make sure it stayed on. He let me know how to keep the area clean so it would stay lit. I just felt like this was great customer service and would call JD Service again for any plumbing or heating issues.

Marcus arrived on time. He surveyed our issue (downstairs toilet backup/overflow) and suggested I call the City of Durham Water and Sewer Maintenance department before having him do any work to see if the line clog was on my side or the City's side. A DWSM crew came out and Marcus worked with them to determine that the clog was on the City's side. The City crew removed the clog, but I had Marcus replace a couple of clean-out valve caps (we have three valves) and install a double clean-out valve at the second one. Marcus was extremely professional and quick. I am very happy with how he treated my wife and me, his work, and JD's overall operation. (Marcus even gave me very helpful information about splitting some logs I was working on!) At this point, I'm thinking we've found our new go-to plumbing company!
My heat pump was malfunctioning, putting out heat when it was set for AC. He quickly determined it was a problem with the air handler. He located a part and went to get it. Justin did an awesome job. He was efficient and pleasant to work with. He always put covers on his shoes when he came in the house. I asked for his business cards because I’ll be telling lots of people about JD Service Now. I am pleased and impressed. Now retired, I previously worked as a Property Manager for Class A Commercial office buildings. I’ve worked with many HVAC technicians, and Justin is one of the best. He is an asset to your company.In addition, I was impressed with the other personnel in this company, from the team that handles the service calls and tge scheduling team that kept me in the loop about the arrival times.My first call went in at 10:39 am and my job was completely 5:30 pm, tge same day. Today is Friday, and the temperature climbed to at least 98. I’m thrilled to have AC for the weekend.JD Service Now is aptly named and the real deal. Totally profession! I’m impressed and pleased.

Sophie was prompt on arrival and conducted herself very professionally the entire visit. She quickly troubleshooted and diagnosed the problem, respectfully moved about the house to find root cause, then wrote up a proposal with 3 options for solution. I chose one and she did the repair right then and there. Also, after running some water tests, she crafted another proposal with 3 more options and I selected replacing the water softener entirely. Here’s the best part. She did that same day too!! She took the time to drive 90 mins round trip to get the new parts, stopped by Home Depot to get new salt, then came back with another technician to help her get the new softener to the second floor for installation. This project took 9 hours in total including her travel time mid-day. She did it with ease, a smile, and positive attitude. Highly recommend Sophie!
My system was shot (I was told that when I purchased the house) and certainly needed replacement but I wasn’t able to replace it immediately. Josh was knowledgeable and empathetic and did the necessary patching of the old system in a manner that made it livable until I could change it out. The company was efficient in handling my request and follow-up. At a time when service appears to be a thing of the past - I found that the service provider Josh and “JD Services Now” was everything their name implies - great SERVICE!When the service was provided Carlos and Team were thoughtful, efficient and took extra steps to fix minor damages to existing ducts and vacuum the ducts to ensure my comfort. We recently discovered our water pipes had a lot of corrosion on them and were concerned they would bust so we wanted to get the pipes replaced. We have been extremely happy with JD Plumbing front the start. From the time we called and the work was completed was less than a week. Evan was our technician and he did a great job. He minimized the repairs needed for the drywall and everything was kept clean and neat the whole time! I would highly recommend JD Plumbing to anyone!!

This recent service call (January 30) was the second one we had made to JD Service Now. The first call was back in July when we asked them to try to resurrect our Trane XL 80 furnace/ac unit that had been ko’d by 16 inches of water in the basement. We picked them because years ago we had several mediocre experiences with other repair services in the area and JD’s existence was new to us so we called. The initial phone contact, problem description and company approach to the problem seemed reasonable and went well and their technician named Josh came out and did a great job in diagnosing the problem and outlining the corrections needed to get it going. In this first repair the part (a main circuit board kit) needed to be ordered which took a couple of days but when it arrived Josh got out to the house promptly and got the unit running in time to deal with some very hot days.Given that very good experience with JD we did not hesitate to call them when the furnace stopped stopped working this time. It died late at night so we called first thing in the morning, hoping there would not be a multi-day delay in getting someone out. Again, professional, efficient office handling of our service request and with no delay they were able to get a crew, Rotley and Jesse out at exactly the time frame we needed. They were a great team with Rotley leading the problem analysis and estimate. He worked up several possibilities and cost levels and we picked one involving additional cleaning of parts. In this case, the gas valve had gone bad but the replacement was available locally. They promptly went out and got it and by that afternoon the unit was running again. A five star performance by Rotley and Jesse.Given what I have seen from the atttitudes and performance of Josh, Rotley and Jesse I would say morale at the company is pretty high which is an indication of pretty good leadership throughout the company.

Chris was amazing! It ended up being an appliance issue vs a plumbing issue, but he moved my washer/dryer and shut off the water so that I wasn’t without water to my whole house.
We experience nothing short of perfect customer service. Joe and Adam on the Plumbing team and Walter on the HVAC team provided us detailed reports and made sure we did not invest in services we did not need. There was nothing they could’ve done better. I’m lucky to have called the company and the company is lucky to have these technicians on their staff.
Vincent did a wonderful job replacing my garbage disposal. When I first noticed my sink was leaking I had no idea what was wrong. Vincent quickly took a look at it and knew right away that it was the garbage disposal. He showed me the leak and the water running through the hole in the old disposal. I’m very grateful that he arrived on the same day that I called. In one day he was able to diagnose the problem and replace the old disposal with a new one in a timely matter.He was professional and very kind and I recommend him to anyone!

We suddenly lost our water - and figured it was our well pump. Contacted JD Plumbing, and Ron came out to help us. He was so professional, but very low-key and so approachable. He diagnosed the issue, and put a plan in place along with his co-worker Chris. They were able to order the parts needed, and came back the next day to work on our well and water tank. They worked hard all day, spending like 10 hours on-site. It was Halloween, but they made sure they got the job done before leaving to be with their kids for the big day. Very strong work ethic! Ron took extra care to ask me questions about what I wanted or didn't want, and he made suggestions and gave me options to consider. He was very patient with me and did not push me or coerce me into making a certain decision. He just provided the facts and let me take it from there. After the day, I felt like I had known Ron forever - he became like a friend. I will be calling JD Plumbing again when I need their services, and I will be specifically asking for Ron!

So the job was to hardwire a new Finnish style barrel sauna to the electrical system of a nearly 100 year old house. And it was achieved with great success! There were, of course, a few hiccups but JD Service Now really had the expertise to know how to handle them (and with upfront pricing, these didn't change the quoted total). But what truly sets this company above other electricians is Steve. A genuinely nice and polite guy, he was always on time and made sure we knew what was happening in each step of the process and went above and beyond in the summer heat to make sure the project got done. We liked the overall culture of the company so much we signed up for their home maintenance program (and the 10% saved paid for the membership for the two years.)

Had an issue w two toilets in my home. Christopher was communicative, informed, and thoughtful. He also cleaned up his mess after he took apart my toilet, which I can easily say has rarely happened with other plumbers. 10/10 would recommend.
We had our ancient water heater die over the 4th of July weekend. No one else could get anyone out till 7/11 or later. JD Service got us a tech same-day, and even a new install. Theron, our tech, also helped us figure out an unrelated water filter issue. I’m very happy with how responsive they were and I felt the pricing was fair.
Dante and Roberto were an excellent team. They stayed until nearly dark to make sure that our AC was humming on one of our hottest days.

I had the hot water heater and HVAC system replaced at the same time. The JD Service crew (Jose, Josh and others) were an absolute pleasure to have at my house to complete the work. They were prompt, very professional and treated me like a friend. After the work was done they left the place cleaner than when they arrived. Jaime is almost our best friend at this point. He has fixed this problem at least twice for us already, each time he fixes it quickly and explains in detail what he did. The response from the office and dispatch is always very quick and they get someone to us as soon as possible. Plus, they give updates via phone call, texts, emails to keep most posted which I appreciate so much.
Joshua has been out to help on 2 different occasions and did a great job both times. Very courteous and helpful in explaining issues.

Greg from JD Service Now came to my home today to inspect my plumbing. Everything was explained to me. I was show potential problems and given the option to have them attended to. There was no pressure. I chose to make the repairs. Greg told me the cost before he began. He said the cost would not increase if it took longer than expected. It did take longer. Greg took care of all the problems and kept me informed every step of the way. Good job. I am a satisfied customer.

John was on time, friendly, and an expert in his craft. He repaired the master bedroom shower valve thing and explained to me why the problem was happening. He also fixed the main water value by replacing it. John unclogged the bathroom shower as well. Excellent service. Although it was costly, I am reassured the job was done right and should not e perimeter issues going forward. Operational execution was also stellar, clear communication and timeliness. Would recommend. I also purchased the yearly protection plan.

Carlos and Miguel were very courteous and professional. They arrived at 8 am and told us it would take about 5 hours to complete the install of our new AC Unit. As promised, they were finished by 1pm. The gentlemen were very efficient. We would highly recommend them for any future AC installations.

I called and scheduled an appointment for an estimate and expressed my frustration about other companies not showing up. I was assured this would not be an issue with them and that they would get to me today no matter what. I rescheduled things my family had been looking forward to for months so we could be on standby when they called to tell us they were on the way since they will not even give you a window of time. You literally have to be ready all day and available within 30 to 60 minutes at their convenience. My phone rang at 9 this morning and I was told they were already to busy to accommodate me today sine I just wanted an estimate to redo my bath. This is not a cosmetic redo but a needed one , not that it should matter. Mind you this is a big job and they do charge 39.00 to just come out. Such poor customer service and work ethic all around. I was booted from the schedule because they had to prioritize and my scheduled appointment for today did not make the cut.If you know you can not get to estimates on the weekend DO NOT SCHEDULE them. Customers time is just as important and valuable as your companies.

I was initially referred to JD Service Now from Brown Brothers who were completely booked up. I was very pleased with this recommendation--from my initial call to the answering service, to the dispatcher, to Vincent, the plumber who did all the work for me, everyone was prompt, pleasant, and kept me informed of next steps and the timeframe in which they'd be carried out. Vincent especially, was very helpful and courteous, answering all of my many questions, telling me the pros and cons of each option, and then showing me a proposal with pictures of the hardware to be installed (replacement water heater tank, outdoor faucet, toilet shutoff valve) and prices for each. The monthly Home Partnership Program got me a 10% discount on each service so I decided to go with that also. He worked most of the day to install everything and cleaned up nicely afterwards. I also appreciated that he wore shoe bootie coverings and a mask while in my house. Even if I didn't have a Home Partnership Program agreement with these folks, I'd still call them first if I had an AC or plumbing issue. Highly recommend!
I can’t recommend JD Service Now enough! From the first representative that I spoke with on the phone to the final signature, they showed nothing but professionalism and great customer service! Seaton was the technician assigned to my location and he did an awesome job. He was more than willing to answer any/all of my questions and corrected all of the issues that I had. If you have any plumbing issues, use JD Service Now and ask for Seaton!
JDService Now diagnosed, and put in a patch while awaiting my signature on a larger job. They took over two weeks to bid that job, got in an argument over the city's quality of work (which was fine), and did not come back to replace the patch. This cost me 1200 dollars. Be careful, they are a bit clueless on how to keep the cost affordable due to their need to over engineer a solution all the while leaving a hole in your house.

only complaint I have is that I called after 6 PM (they were listed as 24/7 but took only commercial calls after 6) and was told the team may not call back that night. However, they called promptly next morning and were onsite mid morning. Courteous service, quality repair (commode line broken at the tee in the wall), and respected my house.
Patrick D came out yesterday to do our annual AC checkup. Patrick was courteous, professional and knowledgeable! His great work ethic kept him here until well after dark! Thank goodness for Techs like Patrick who stay until the job is done! All the Techs we have worked with at J D Service are not afraid to go above and beyond to get the job done! Noah was wonderful. He installed a programmable Honeywell thermostat today. He helped me set up the app on my phone. He also explained the various types of thermostats and what they will do. Noah also indicated that our filters need changing :-) and we will take care of that in the next couple of days. JD Service Now--always wonderful!!
JD Service responded quickly to my leaking hot water heater, despite it being a Saturday morning! The technician sent (Greg) , only a couple hours after my call, was extremely professional and thorough. When the new hot water heater was installed the next morning (Sunday), Greg was punctual and efficient, and left the work area immaculate! No one wants to experience problems with their HVAC system, but as we all know, it's inevitable. JD Service Now made it as painless as possible by walking me through every step of the process and also by not trying to sell me the most expensive thing. I highly recommend every team member I met, including Noah, Walter, Carlos, and Mitch. They all seemed to enjoy their jobs, never once complaining. When Noah came to troubleshoot my system in the freezing rain, he said, I love cold weather! and really seemed sincere. Their smiling faces made me feel a little less depressed about the whole situation. Highly recommend.
I needed to replace my water heater in the basement. I have purchased the new water heater and all necessary parts for the installation. I just needed to have someone to install it for me. A technician from JD Service NOW came on Sunday afternoon. He took less than 30 seconds to look at the place where the old water heater located. He then told me that the charge for the installation would be almost $1100. I asked him how long for him to install the water heater. He said about 2 hours. This means that he charges about $550 per hour to install water heater. Is it a reasonable charge? It looked like to me that he did want to work on Sunday and he just came to collect the service call fee. So he gave me a very high price which I would not be able to accept. I then had to pay him $39 plus tax for the service call fee and he left. I definitely do not recommend JD Service NOW.

Wonderful service! William was professional & thorough. The company was timely & supportive in getting my one & only shower fully operational. I called Oct 23 @ 9:52. I told manager that I had a major leak. He told me that they would contact me an hour and a half prior to arrival, and again 30 minutes with and ETA. I received another call @ 11:09am informing me that they would call me ahead of time when the technician would arrive. At 2.59pm I received a call saying they were not coming. They led me to believe that I would receive help that day and then at 2:59pm they said I would get no service. I then had to scramble around and get another plumber to help me on an emergency basis which cost me a fee of $169. JD Service Now should have been up front with me and let me know that they might not be able to service me. Very unprofessional. Not to mention very costly.Reg Harris

This company is awesome! We ended up using them twice in one month. Once for a pipe that had a leak and recently when our heater wouldn't come on. They were here the same day, extremely clean, and presented options for the repairs. I highly recommend them!

Our basement toilet overflowed and we couldn’t get it to unclog. Turns out a switch somewhere was in bad shape. Matt & Kenon (sp?) arrived exactly when they said they would, after giving us a 30 min arrival time. They both kept us informed with what they were doing to repair the situation and told us the amount. When it was completed (within about 1 hr from start to finish) the amount was exactly what they told us.And on top of all this, this was all within 3 hrs of when the toilet was reported to JD Service. Amazing. Also, it helps to become a member. Just an FYI to others. They have come out to make sure our HVAC is working well, as part of being a member. Just a wonderful company!
Visitng my Durham condo from Chicago, I found multiple issues with plumbing and air-conditioning at the condo. Given that I had 3 days to address all the issues before I returned to Chicago, I called JD Service Now. They understood and accomodated my urgency. The JD technicians came quickly, explained and fixed all problems on time and I am now back in Chicago happily. Kim, Greg, John, Adam, Caleb, and Roy were all kind, patient, helpful and great. Especially, I liked Roy very much for his knowledge and professionalism in explaining and fixing A/C problems. I will definitely ask him and other JD guys back if and when I have problem at the condo. Thanks guys! You were great in every respect.

Mark was lovely, friendly and well knowledgeable regarding my plumbing. The company informed me by the hour as to when they would be arriving and with in the hour Mark was ready to perform the job. What I also like was that he did not bother me with up selling but gave me options to fit my budget. He worked fast and efficiently , showed me what was done. Informed me a future maintenance that was in my future that would need addressing soon. I was greatful for the attentiveness. Cons: luckily it was an outside water pipe that burst and I was able to shut off the water only to the outside because it took a week before they could come out. Not his fault of course .I'm sure it is due to the pandemic and lack of employees.
Technician took the time to explain all service performed and why. He did not try to pressure me into sales I didn't. He didn't use scare tactics about my system.
Josh was punctual, knowledgeable and thorough in evaluating all the possible areas to determine if there was a leak. He referred me to an excellent source to repair the hole in my drywall. All the services I received that day were above and beyond exceptional, professional and reliable.
I don’t often rave about repair services, but JD gets it as a company and Mark who came out to fix our problem was fantastic. Great communication, responsiveness, service options, the whole deal. Couldn’t have been happier (and more pleasantly surprised)!

He arrived on time, was friendly, professional and explained what needed to be done.As an aside, I contacted JD SERVICE NOW earlier in the month and due to some miscommunication I was left frustrated and disappointed. I expressed my frustration and later received a call from Preston Andrews, one of the managers. Mr. Andrews apologized for dropping the ball and made things right. We bought an old house with lots of quirks. We called because the waterline for our fridge wasn’t working and asked about a few other upcoming projects. Marcus came out and really spent time going through the whole plumbing system and giving us tons of different options for our upcoming projects. He also installed the new fridge line very quickly. When my ac broke on a weekend, they actually came out to fix on a Sunday. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and troubleshot the problem quickly. I was provided options for repair and not pressured into buying a new system. Unfortunately a part had to be ordered but as soon as it came in they were installing and I was cooling off again. I signed up for their service checkups I was so impressed with the service. Thank you for getting me back up and running one one of the hottest weeks of the year.
Excellent service. Esteban was friendly, very professional, and very experienced. The latter was difficult to find. I needed a Bidet toilet installed to replace my old toilet and while some would take the job, the majority have never installed one. Not only did he have experience with doing this kind of installation, but he explained everything, and was willing to work with my schedule. I would definitely call on him again if ever there was a need.

The service man Justin was prompt, seem to be knowledgeable and listened to what we had to say. After he did his diagnosis he explained what was wrong and what he believed was needed to be done. We asked some question which he answered promptly and allowed us to determine which options were best for our situation. Once we informed him he proceeded to accomplish that work. There were no surprises and we know what the costs were even after we asked him to add some additional tasks, which he also accomplished without delay.

Mark was very professional and thorough in his inspection and testing of our water heater and plumbing system. Mark found a leaking shutoff valve in the refrigerator water line and repaired it on the spot. We are very pleased with the great service Mark provided.
Joshua got here right on time and quickly assessed what needed to be done. He offered up sells on service plans but was not pushy at all about it and I appreciate that. It seems like he did a great job, the washer dryer seem to work and no flooding yet so knock on wood, I am very happy with this experience.

I called to make an appointment to have some plumbing worked on (clogged pipes) and they sent someone to my house the next day. So far so good. They called the morning of to confirm, just as they said they would, and also called to let us know when the technician was on his way. The technician gave his diagnostic before performing the work and the prices were very reasonable. He ran into more issues while doing his work, which he informed us of, and gave an updated price. The transparency was much appreciated. Now my pipes are draining just as they should and I’m very pleased!

Vincent from JD Service Now has been out to our house twice in the last week. On Friday he came out to investigate a burnt electrical smell coming from our water heater and discovered it was very old and leaking and was at high risk of starting a fire. Every other company we called told us there was a 1-2 week wait and we could either live without hot water for that long or risk a fire and use it in the meantime! JD got someone out the same day we called and got a brand new water heater delivered quickly. He did a wonderful job installing a brand new water heater and adding safety features whomever installed the original water heater totally disregarded (like a drip area outside so we would know if it was leaking again and so it would leak outside next time and not into our insulation and floor). The very next day our toilet started leaking and the shut off valve was damaged. This is an older home we just inherited from my deceased mother in law and we are slowly tackling projects as they come up. We love the service/maintenance plan JD offers for this reason. Vincent has been super pleasant, quick, professional and done excellent work. My husband has said “I like that guy” at least three times in the last few days. I think he will insist on requesting Vincent by name from now on although I’m sure all their techs are just as great. Thanks JD Service Now and please give Vincent Pisani a raise or at least a nice plaque 😉
Rotley Lewis came out to do an HVAC check, and Evan Heffley checked out our plumbing system. Both had some great maintenance tips and advice, and I appreciated them sharing pricing information for optional improvements/repairs to consider. I've re-enrolled to their Always Right inspection program for the second year in a row now. It's well worth the cost, even if just peace of mind when they don't find anything.Update: Just re-enrolled for home partnership program after they repaired our Dehumidifier. Still can't recommend these guys highly enough, they're people are top quality.Update: Vincenzo just finished a yearly plumbing-checkup. Did his best to locate a miniscule and stubborn leak that wouldn't cooperate (since a plumber was staring at it). Then he went above and beyond, adding a coating of glue-band-aide just in case it helps. I really appreciate the extra effort and am glad he's working for JD Service now - where they always extra effort to do things right.

Theron and Justin were friendly and helpful. Theron diagnosed my likely repair and provided me with estimates for each of two repair options and and financing methods. Provided me with guidance for expediting 811 utility locating and City of Durham permitting approval.A+ for customer service, professionalism, and technical savvy thus far. I expect them to start work tomorrow if all of the prerequisite steps have been accomplished as we have initiated.

JD service was quick to respond, flexible with scheduling, and reasonably priced. 4 stars instead of 5 only because there was a lot of phone tag going back and forth with the dispatcher versus the technician. Ultimately, we didn’t need a repair, they didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need and left everything as it was found. We will use them in the future if we ever have more plumbing needs.

I have already given a review for JD Service Now for recent repair work. I was very impressed with this company and called them back to install new AC and Heating systems. I have to say the entire process was done with respect, professionalism and the team were fantastic. They cleaned up after themselves, kept me in the loop about all stages of the job and left me feeling comfortable with my monumental decision (to me at least) to completely replace AC/Heating system. Carlos Pacas was my project manager this time and he was awesome. Thanks again for making a scary choice easier for me.
I live in an older house that has had a series of problems with plumbing and HVAC since we moved in, so I've had JD Service Now out several times. Their customer service is always pleasant and approachable. Josh K. was the first service technician I met from their company and he is amazing and personable. He remembers details about my son from three years ago!
Christopher (and Vicienzo) were timely, thorough, very clear with estimates and costs and did a great job. Quality of work was only outdone by their pleasantness.

We had well pump failure, no water, William came to fix it, very professional in his approach to person and situation, assessed and gave multiple quotes, honest evaluation, finished the job without any problems and we got water! Could not ask for anything better!
I found the people who visited my home to be professional, courteous and easy to work with. People shared some comments about scheduling and in response to that I will share that I agree with the concept that when you’re doing diagnostics and potentially a repair, the amount of time required at each home is not predictable. I believe the staff take appropriate measures to ensure that they do their due diligence. I also appreciated that the sales person presented great, thorough information and hat it did not feel like a hard pressure sale.

Great experience from origin to conclusion! Kim was quite courteous in the original phone call. She kept in touch to update me when the tech was available and on his way. Noah was a great tech! He arrived on time. He had all the COVID protections in place. He was friendly and professional. He took the time to explain everything he was looking at and doing. His diagnostic was quite thorough. He presented the options for repair and the cost of each, told me their effectiveness, but didn't try to sell me on a bunch of things I didn't really need. My system is 14 years old and could use some more parts, but in the end I settled on just topping off the refrigerant and changing the air filter (I already had the filter) rather than spend a lot to repair a unit with a limited lifespan left. The system works fine now, and for a couple more years I hope, and I'm not out a bunch of money I wasn't hoping to spend unexpectedly.
JD Service Now did an excellent job replacing our main water line. It was a big undertaking, and they were very professional and prompt at each step. We especially liked working with John Whitlow. Keep up the great work, John!!

Was flooded at the downstair bathroom sink area, he did a great job fixing the problem and installed the new faucet in the bathroom sink… same day service and very quick on understanding the impact of this issue and fixed the problem… Problem Solver…
We had some leaky valves and were able to get same day service on a weekend. Will Shoe and he did a wonderful job walking us through his process start to finish. Very professional and knowledgeable and got the job done right in a reasonable amount of time.

I have used JD Service Now for several years. I have a service contract with them and today's visit was for annual plumbing inspection, and getting an estimate for repairing/replacing shower fixtures. They also installed my new HVAC System not long ago. They are extremely nice, professional, responsive and on-time. I highly recommend them! All of their technicians have been excellent and I've been very pleased overall with everything they've done.

Being new to the area and a new home owner I just googled plumbers. They were the first suggested, highly review with a great score and deserving of all the praise so much so I plan on using them for all their various services when I need something like HVAC inspection.
Great job! Great Service. These men were punctual and respected my Dad’s home while I was there visiting and working from home. They barely disturbed me to ask questions and I didn’t find it disturbing for them to be here during the work day. My Dad is elderly and felt as though they did a really good job and he’s happy with the service as well. As a person who reads everything verbatim - I had questions about payment options because We like tracking Home Expenses on credit card and paying in full is the better option; We needed an extra day or two to pay in full and the Company manager approved it. We appreciate things like this. The only complaint I have and I will not take away the stars Is that one of two men didn’t wear a mask - I would appreciate it everyone asked before entering rather than just not wearing a mask. We acquired a membership and we will be using this company again. Thanks for your help and for understanding our needs!

Generally give 4 stars to JD for their visits over the last few years (can't make me like what modern plumbing services cost, sorry!), but the fifth star in this case is for the tech (Dominic S.), who installed a faucet fixture in our kitchen sink today - this was a follow-up to an initial visit about a month prior; answered all our questions, worked unobtrusively, demonstrated the new fixture's features & cleaned up the work area on his way out.

I was impressed with how quickly I was able to get someone out to our place to fix the problem. David arrived within an hour of me calling for an appointment. He was honest about his assessment of the problem and quickly solved it. He was super nice and the pricing seemed reasonable.
We had a drain clogged and I sent an email late Monday; by Tuesday early morning they had contacted me to schedule service for that same day!Christopher was friendly and personable. He introduced himself and went straight to work once I explained the issue.After the problem was fixed he took the time to explain how to take apart the drain plug I have in case I needed to in future. (I expressed frustration early on not knowing how my drain plug came off)He also took the time to explain their member plan, my options with clear pricing. We have been using JD Now for years but with COVID had fallen off the member list. We signed back up (it’s a deal!!) and Christopher provided receipt.I am always pleased with the experience start to finish! They are friendly, responsive, transparent and professional. They give you a good, better, and best quote when the scope of work is extensive so you can choose without pressure what fits your budget. 100% the best choice!! Stop reading and schedule with them!!

He called us while we were out of state to reassure us that he was taking care of this problem. He was so nice to us it felt like he was part of our family. You can trust and relay on these guys.I had a complete removal of my HVAC unit and installation of the new HVAC system in April -22.JD Service Now team came on time and demonstrated high work ethic standards. It was not an easy decision for me - to remove my HVAC unit and replace with the new one, and I was quite stressed out…, but I felt their support every minute of the “journey “. Everything was handled in a timely manner, super professional and most importantly, with care. And this is what I appreciate most- when company not only collects money, but takes care of the customer.I would like to give my very special thanks to the Manager of this company- Tim McFeaters, who really impressed me with the way he handled my requests and preferences. Mr. McFeaters and Kelly, who is ths team leader demonstrated superior professionalism and really went above and beyond to satisfy my needs. I just wanted to thank you both and your team again!

Our 3rd floor AC split system stopped cooling and our house is currently on the market with 2 scheduled showings starting at 3:30pm today. I called JD and they sent 2 repairmen right away. They found a leak that had caused the refrigerant to drain out. They repaired the leak, added new refrigerant, reset the system and verified that the unit was working properly. We were thrilled that this was all accomplished after the morning showings and before the afternoon showings. We had no interruptions thanks to the incredibly rapid response. I called at 10:30 and the system was repaired and up and running by 2:45. John and his partner were professional, courteous, and personable. I switched from one of their competitors years ago and have never looked back. GREAT COMPANY!!

Joey was super nice and pretty quick. He talked me through everything he was doing and did a great job getting our AC to where it needs to be.
Christopher was very professional and knowledgeable. He identified the issue almost immediately and presented solutions. I had him make the repair (a new clean out cap, and he also checked my faucet and shower for water pressure issues) and everything it went very well. Very pleased!
Service was performed today and I have already recommended Steven at JD Service Now to a co-worker and will definitely recommend them in the future. Steven was very polite and courteous. Dogs were barking at him and he came up to pet the dogs and helped calm them down. He was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to replace our hot water heater. His installation looks great. We could tell he took pride in making it look good while getting it done right! He was very professional and explained everything when he was down.Service response was very fast. Called on a Tuesday and they offered to come out first thing on Wednesday. The woman who answered was polite on the phone.

I use JD service as often as possible. The team on the phone line and scheduling are responsive and know what is going on at all times. We called JD Service Now to fix a leaky toilet. The technician was here very quickly, was friendly and knowledgeable. Not only did he fix our issue but he told us what to look for in case it happened in any of our other bathrooms. We highly recommend them.
Johnny was courteous, pleasant and professional. He assessed the problem quickly and gave us a detailed description of both it and the repair (and cost). We had cool air in the house within the hour. Fantastic service and attitude. We are very satisfied.
This is the 2nd time I've had JD Service Now out. I really like their professionalism, and the fact they give you multiple options for the work without a hard sell. Work was very quick and they fixed my sump pump and walked me through that it was working afterwards. It seemed expensive, BUT, I did not shop around so I'm assuming it was reasonable for the work performed. And I have peace of mind knowing it was done right. Thank you. I would use them again.

I called early am for a hvac problem. Dante arrived within an hour or so and talked about the problem. Then he looked and came back with some options. We agreed what needed to be done. He fixed it all within about 2 hours. My house is cool again! I have been a customer of JD Now for over 5 years. They are the first I call for plumbing and hvac. I have never been disappointed. JD Service Now installed 2 new HVAC units in our resently purchased town home in 2019. Although we had lower quotes from other HVAC contractors, we chose JD Service Now because they seemed more professional regards the needs of a new system with repect to changes in piping required due to changes in allowed coolants.We could have stayed with the current piping but the new coolants required larger pipes. Staying with the current pipes and only changing the HVAC units would reduced the life of the new units. So, at greater expense, we went with JD Now.Now, in November 2022, we find one of the HVAC units installed by JD Now has a faulty condenser fan motor. The part is covered by warranty but not the cost to install it, which, per JD Now would be $678!.JD Now agreed to absorb the cost of replacing the replacement part.
Our technician Greg came to help with a leak under the sink and we had him check a couple others things that we thought may need attention. We are thankful we did!! Our water heater was at least 12 years old and had a leak.JD Service was able to replace our hot water heater, change out our food disposal and fix leaky sinks all in the same day!!Thank you for being prompt, courteous and providing excellent service! We appreciate the customer service from our initial call for service through completion of the project.
Chris replaced our old water heater and also replaced some old piping that had started to drip. His workmanship was excellent ensuring the new piping work was neat and as unobtrusive as possible in the unfinished basement. He is very personable, listening to our requests and explaining options. We’ve used JD for over 10 years now and continue to be impressed with their excellent customer service from the first phone call through arrival and execution.

Casey and Lloyd replaced two UV lamps in my heating/AV system. They were friendly and took the time required to do the job right after encountering some snags due to improper installation (by a different company). A 45-minute job turned into 3 hours, and they stuck to the initial agreed cost. Very happy with this repair experience!

Very professional, knowledgeable, and honest with the approach to the problem - Even educated our family on how to care for the drain going forward so to decrease the likelyhood of it happening again! He told us if we ever needed anything to give a hollar - we wouldnt you know - a couple weeks later we ended up with a mainwater leak - at the meter - everyone between Chris, his helpers Marco and Cory , Michelle in dispatch , and I know I am forgetting someone has been great - we were at the mercy of 811 and holiday weekend but Michelle kept in contact letting me know status.... Hired JD Service to finish a new toilet installation another installer started but didn't finish properly so the toilet leaked. Chris showed up as he said, found the issue and made the repair. All within about 30 minutes. AWESOME. I would highly recommend!!!

With a maintenance contract, each visit results in 'recommendations for repairs' which amount to $1000-2000 +. Techs came in March and April this year, repaired one system and replaced another at high cost. By August, there was another recommendation to repair the system they just repaired, for >$2000! I've had it with this company. Be careful. You will pay an exorbitant amount each time. The techs are very personable and respectful. But I suppose, they are bound by company policy. I also waited from 8 am to 2 pm for the techs to arrive. Reliability and punctuality are important. Really annoying to be kept waiting all day. Will not go with them again. When I emailed them to cancel my contract, the response was Ok

On the initial call to schedule Thomas C. arrived to our home as scheduled and on time. He had a great personality, and was very thorough while checking on our AC system. Thomas explained all our options and the work was done the same day. All of his suggestions were spot on, and the AC unit running smoothly! We recently used Shawn with JD Service Now to respond to an emergency HVAC problem at our home. Despite it being very late in the afternoon, he arrived promptly and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. He went above and beyond to give us a solution that worked. I don't usually leave Google reviews but we had such a good experience with JD after Roto Rooter misdiagnosing our issue and then giving us the run-around for days about coming back out to fix it. JD was responsive, prompt, professional, affordable and fixed our issue super quickly. We will definitely use then again.
We had our water softener replaced and hot water heater relocated. Adam and Nathan were the technicians that did the work. They were very professional, courteous, completed the work as promised and cleaned up after themselves. After the projects were complete Adam took the time to explain the operation of each. I have utilized JD Service Now for several years, for plumbing and HVAC. Most recently, we had a problem with our spare bathroom fixtures not working properly. Josh was sent out, and immediately found the issue. It turned out that a previous member of staff created the problem with the repair made for another issue a couple years ago. He was apologetic though he didn’t do the original repair, and got it all fixed properly. At no charge. I was absolutely willing to pay for repair, at LEAST supplies needed or for his time. I run my own business. I understand costs and also standing behind your work. So I greatly appreciate it. The company also installed a new HVAC system a few years ago, and take great care of it. No business or company is 100% perfect. But this one, at least to me, tries to be as close as they can be.
Vincent corrected wrong install of water heater from 2019. Installed new bladder and strapped it to wall stud, realigned and caulked venting, replaced main house pressure regulator and cleared water heater pressure regulator which then did not need to be replaced. Fixed one leaky faucet, determined that its twin did not need work since controlling whole-house pressure fixed the leak. Original call was for water heater leak and worries about pressure. Vincent went way above and beyond. Great!!
Outstanding customer service. Our hot water heater stopped working on Saturday at 3pm. We thought we were faced with the bleak prospect of a whole weekend of cold water followed by several days of missed work. But no, JD Service returned our call within an hour, Greg came to check out our problem within another hour. He provide a very thorough description of our problem and options, then had a new hot water heater installed by the next afternooon (a Sunday!). The price was very reasonable and the work professionally done. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or better people!
Dante was fantastic. He came in, after putting on protective gear, and checked out the problem. He explained what he was going to do and how much it would cost. He fixed the problem and double check to make sure everything was good. He cleaned up and asked if we had any questions before he left. JD Services will always be our go to company.

From my first encounter with booking the appointment to learning my options as explained by Josh and the amazing and respectful onsite service that Carlos and his crew performed I am throughly pleased with every aspect. Having an emergency is bad enough. I appreciate that this team made a stellar effort to get heat restored a day earlier then expected and the whole job completed efficiently. My house is pandemic messy but their professionalism made it less embarrassing. I highly recommend them.
We called several plumbers over and after the holiday weekend and this company was able to send someone within a couple of hours. Very pleased with the work done, especially since we hadn't been able to use the kitchen sink (or dishwasher that drains into the pipes that were blocked) for four days. There's still an unresolved issue unrelated to what we called about that they brought to my attention that involves a lot more planning to fix (replacing sink, etc) and I'll definitely be scheduling them for that when the time comes.

Had some issues with the water heater. After some research for services, I found JD Service Now. Call them and with a quick and attentive respond they sent one of their expert, in this case, Mark Coble. Mark was very professional and very happy to answer every question. He was very thorough on the service that was needed and explain the complete job. After a few minutes he came up with several options and packages that went from a simple but right solve to a more complete and added features for a more secure system. Their prices were right on point, plus the service and attention, I decided to go with them. But nothing is done till is done. It was a difficult job, a 75 gallons tank in a 3rd floor attic, it's no easy task. The day of installation Mark came with an assistant and they did an excellent professional job. The job was very clean and on time. At the end he take some time explaining again the job done. EXCELLENT!!! Fully recommended!
Just had service done with Chris Adams yesterday.My partner and I recently moved into a new house, we tried contacting 3 different plumbers before finding JD Service. All the other plumbers were unresponsive and uncommunicative. Mike, who was our service technician, was overal professional, friendly, easy to talk to, and informative. What impressed me the most was not only JD service now friendly demeanor, quick and prompt response times and ability to cater to the customers needs. But, how Mike explained everything. What he was doing and why it was important. He was patient with my questions and instead of just explaining why he was doing what he was doing, showed me. He went all through the details meticulously and made sure I understood it. I can honestly say, I never felt more reassured with any service companies work like JD service now. It took them almost no time at all once they got to me.The bad:They are pretty busy. It took a while to get out to see the issue and took a while longer to get back to fix it. That's the price of popularity I suppose. For me it was a non-issue because I don't need my sprinklers until spring, so 2 hours, 2 days, 2 weeks, none of it would make a difference to me.The ugly:Call to confirm the schedule. Today I had my first maintenance check since signing on with JD Service Now. I got an email for the appointment reminder with a picture of the technician and his backstory which was great. Mike went through my heating system then showed me some concerns. He explained everything to me and wrote up multiple options I could pick from or even just not doing anything and explaining what could happen. I wasn't pressured at all but educated. So far I think I have the right company!

JD Service was outstanding in communication with regards to the technician, verifying appointments, and ensuring the day before (and then morning of - as I missed the evening call) to make sure the time still worked for me. Esteban was phenomenal. Funny, professional, and timely work (with detailed explanations as well). Would highly recommend them. The one thing they did that was different from other plumbers is that while I called for “x” project, they took the time to look over all possible plumbing needs to ensure there weren’t other problems with other parts of our plumbing.

I was very dissatisfied with my recent JD Service plumbing call. We had a plumbing inspection, during which the plumber broke our hot water valve, which then caused debris in our faucet reducing pressure by more than 50% and disabling the sprayer. The repair was almost $700 as he indicated we now also needed a new faucet, as removing the debris was ‘out of his wheelhouse’ and would be difficult and costly. I feel totally taken…our plumbing worked before the inspection and not after. Valves do fail sometimes, and I recognize that, but people also break them when turning too hard especially when they are aging and I feel that given it happened during his inspection he and the company should take some responsibility. They claim to have a ‘5-year master craftsman warranty’ but he said that didn’t apply (???). Had I been the plumber and this happened on my watch, I would have done the labor for free and given the parts to repair at cost. Not a company I will deal with again, as I don’t feel they treated us fairly at all.
The company was wonderful and incredibly responsive. The technician, Seaton, was so knowledgeable and offered options and fully understood the code requirements. My highest recommendations.
Justin McCowan is very often my regular HVAC guy. He is friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable in his field. If he or any JD Service folks make a suggestion, I'm comfortable that they are only trying to help and not take advantage of me.

Theron did a great job of replacing a water pressure regulator and overflow bladder for the house. Pressure was too high causing leaks in the bathrooms that leaked down to first floor bedroom. Gave me several options for repairs explaining all, but not pushing any solutions. He let me decide how to handle. He was very curteous and made good suggestions. I decided to sign up for yearly service contract bc I was impressed with the work he did.
Will was very professional and kept us updated along the way. I appreciated him keeping us in the know and offering several options. While our situation was difficult, Will was terrific!
Joshua removed non-functional faucet, a difficult space place, and installed new faucet in a matter of minutes. I really appreciated his kindness and expertise on completing the work. Joshua was prompt on arriving.

We were very impressed with everything from setting up the appointment, their systems & reminders, the friendliness/knowledge/helpfulness of the tech, and the final job. Even the people on the phone seem very well trained and friendly :-)We had a leak at our hot water heater and also knew it was too old. The tech did find one other plumbing regulator that wasn't up to specs for the City of Durham, and we were glad to get it and those parts of the house water main shutoff upgraded.They replaced it all VERY quickly that day, with minimal interruption to our lives.The tech came right on time, sent a message so we knew who was coming, and we got good instructions on upkeep of our new hot water heater after the job was done.I'm able to do normal homeowner work, and *could* have put a hot water heater in myself... but when I see just how clean/professional the work was performed, it was better than what I can do for sure, and saved me a day of hassles and running to the hardware store. So I'm glad we just hired someone.Tip: don't miss the coupons on their website... mine was even $50 better than the one the tech knew about on his iPad estimate. And I usually don't get service plans, but for our situation (already needing a repair,) and with the 10% off on this job, it seemed a pretty decent value.
I appreciate the service I received with JD Service Now. From my first call in discussing my needs with the call center to meeting and working with my technician Chris, was professional and honest. In these times, I greatly appreciate it. Prior to calling JD Service Now, I've dealt with another plumbing company that was proven quickly to be that of a rip off company. They had quoted me nearly 75% higher than what was needed and estimating that the drywall in my son's bedroom closet would be compromised. Upon getting a second quote, I realized quickly that there are some companies that behave unethically in their pricing structure and in the way they misquote consumers. So, I said all this to say Chris was very patient with me in answering all my questions and he never made me feel that he was becoming annoyed in any way. Being that I had faced that experience with the rip off plumbing company, I did my research after getting my quote for my new hot water heater and installation. Annual maintenance visit was thorough, professional, and well done. The tech showed up on time and we were alerted when he was on the way. We were told what to expect from the visit. When I expressed an interest in an appointment for a separate service, he called the office to schedule it for me.

I will always use JD Service Now for any plumbing issues! We had a pipe burst in the kitchen during some exceptionally cold weather. Most companies in the area were swamped by the number of emergencies, but JD Service was able to get a man to the house the same day. Steve C. arrived and was able to cut into dry wall in the least obtrusive way to identify the location of the leak. It was clear this repair was going to be extensive; Steve capped off the water supply to the kitchen so we could stay in the house during the lengthy restoration process. He was courteous and knowledgeable, even speaking with my home owner's insurance company when they were slow to get the process moving. He is clearly very experienced in his trade and was meticulous while working and left everything clean and neat. Whenever I had to call the office, the staff was always polite and quick to act. I am grateful for their top-rate plumber, super service and competitive prices. I recommend them, without reservation, for all your plumbing needs.

Had a problem with heating and Justin came out and found that motor was bad and replaced with new motor and works great. He has been so professional and nice and you could tell he knows what he is doing and enjoys it. I will call him again if any problems.
Josh K was very thorough in cleaning and checking out our HVAC units. He explained to me how everything worked... or wasn't working. At one point, I was watching over his shoulder while he was testing our equipment. He was very patient when I had questions. When it came time for pricing, he seemed to do everything he could to keep the price reasonable for our family. I'm always skeptical when it comes to repair guys. But Josh won me over.
This company is top notch from the technicians to the dispatch. My job required a second visit to address an issue that could not be resolved the first afternoon by one person. They really worked with me and my complicated schedule to alleviate the frustration of having to prolong the issue any longer than it had to take. I appreciate this SO much. We have used JD Service now for both our HVAC and plumbing. We are moving out of state and wanted to leave our review for them (no incentives from the business were offered for our reviews anyways). Always prompt response and scheduling at a good value. They are up-front and honest about the cost of their service and have always given us multiple options so we can choose the best option. No pressure from their technicians or service experts to purchase a more expensive item or quote. The experts do a good job at explaining why something may need repairs now, or what they would recommend to prevent damage in the future (with again, no intense pressure to buy preventative items). Their experts are mindful of your time and the situation. They have always been respectful of our home and property. Would reccomend to anyone who needs quality hvac or plumbing service done quickly. I had the pleasure of working with Jacob (who came out and did the initial consult) and help me set up for new installations. He was super professional, knowledgeable, and gave me many different options.Carlos and crew came next day for installation. They worked all day to get things installed, set up, and working properly. Had a technician come out same day (which I really appreciated) after my house was struck by lightning and my water heater was no longer working. Technician looked at the water heater and tried to get the pilot light to stay lit for ~3 minutes, after which he said the base apparatus needed to be replaced. I asked him how he arrived at that assessment and he gave me very vague explanations and nothing concrete, really did not put any time into actually coming up with a differential diagnosis as to what could be wrong. Estimated that the repair would cost ~$1100, not including the parts which I must procure on my own. Called another plumber and they quoted me $350 for the repair. Very unsatisfied - for the entire 15 minute consultation, it set me back $65.

Our carbon monoxide alarm suddenly went off twice and we weren’t sure why. We couldn’t identify a reason for the alarms or a source of CO so we called JD to see if a technician could inspect our gas hot water heater in the attic. Chris came out within an hour after our initial call and checked things out. He found the water heater was working okay and figured out that the alarm probably went off because the batteries needed to be replaced. So he replaced the batteries for us and got us back to normal. 1000.00 Plus for 5.5 pounds of 410a Freon added to a mini split. Their pricing is crazy. Fun fact I purchase a larger 12,000 btu complete unit precharged and delivered next day for 980 with all the fixings. This did not even include flushing or checking for leaks. Please shop around as this company does not have your best interest in mind. Please pay the service fee, smile and tell everyone you know about your experience and call another company. The service tec was nice.
Carlos and his team were actually 15 minutes early today to install/ replace an HVAC system for our upstairs. The system went down after a power failure last week, but went undetected due to the nice weather. JD Service Now came out before the end of the day, made an assessment of the situation, provided a few options, and scheduled the installation for the following day. Needless to say they are our service provider for our maintenance. Keep up the great work.

Took a chance on a plumber based on Google reviews and I was not disappointed. Appointments set up was easy and courteous, and I even had the option for immediate emergency service on the weekends.Shawn Carver, the technician I was lucky to come across, was a genuine craftsman: took pride in every aspect of his work, stayed working straight through till the job was done, and made sure to win my trust every step of the way -specifically letting me get as much involved as I wanted.JD service is one of those few companies maintaining the lost art of good business practices, they clearly want to win over -and keep- new customers with honest quality work.
If you are the average homeowner, and need a toilet changed, then maybe these guys will work. I'm a contractor who needed a plumber to come out and put in some shut off valves. The guy that showed up had no idea how to do anything and told me all the other guys in his text thread told him to run away. long story short, they charged me $945 to change the shower valve that was completely exposed.... the whole bit of what I asked him to do should have been half that cost and about 2 hours. They deal in volume.... bet not many repeat customers after I saw a bill for almost 2k and the dude only finished the valve, not a single other part of the job. I had to hire another plumber to come out and fix his stuff and the dude charged me $500 for the whole thing...Way overpriced and gouges people.

The young man ( Joey ) evaluated our duct work and recommended replacement as it has been several yrs probaby 20 and the electric bill was rising and the cooling decreasing thru the vents .One look under the house and it was obvious . The best part he had taken pictures and it was awful .....Next week visit by installers and price...ugh

Christopher White went above and beyond. It was extremely hot, job was late in the day into the nighttime hours, and Christopher did not cut corners. He was extremely professional.
Shane did a great job explaining what was entailed in the system cleaning and why it was so important. He was punctual, courteous, and thorough. As always, the JD Service worked with us to keep the service as cost effective as possible. Very pleased!

The service was a simple ceiling fan replacement. They were not able to provide a quote unless they were on site. On providing the quote they said 71 and 2 when the quote was seven HUNDRED and twelve dollars. I feel like the biggest idiot for signing the order without looking carefully but I did not feel they acted in good faith. They arrived at noon and left at 12:51pm (checked with the Ring camera), replaced a ceiling fan, and charged $717.20!!!! Not sure how they got this 5 star reviews. Despite the message below from 2 days ago from their management, I did not hear from them.

Nick was absolutely wonderful!! We had a huge Plumming issue and our only light in the tunnel was Nick and this great company. My 3 dogs would totally agree. He had a way with dogs too! All of them fell in love with him. Nick even went out of his way to take them in and out. He was careful they wouldn’t stay out long in this heat. Besides being absolutely wonderful to my dogs he was the only Plummer that knew the issue with my house. He nailed it from day one. He really knows his Plumming. I called 2 other companies since my repair was extensive. The other two looked puzzled. They were guessing. Could not come up with a game plan. Nick knew what needed to be done and he and his team were fantastic! Professional people from beginning to end. Honesty like I have not seen before especially during these difficult times. Shane was great to work with. He completed system preventative maintenance, cleaned the unit both outside and in the crawl space. He also replaced a failing relay on the AC Unit. He is knowledgeable, professional and personable. He completed his work outside in very heavy rain and cold without issue or complaint. Highly recommend.
They were recommended by another plumber who was not able to respond quickly enough for a leaking hot water tank in an attic that was overflowing it's catch pan. The JD dispatcher put me on the highest priority and Theron Williamson was there in an hour.The job was complex requiring a carpenter to remove the attic access door. Theron recommended a carpenter who was able to come the next day to remove the door. Theron and the carpenter coordinated the work and did an excellent job.Theron was clear in giving me a quote and delivering to that quote even though the carpentry cost more than he thought it would.

Michael is one of the most professional young men to work at my house. Another amazing job performed by JD. This time I had an HVAC issue with my A/C needing a check-up to ensure it was ready for the summer. JD does EVERYTHING! I absolutely love having a “one-stop shop.” We call and since we became members from our last experience during a water leak situation, they made us priority. This time Josh showed up. Very outgoing, and immediately began his assessment of our A/C condenser and unit in the attic. He had excellent communication skills and kept me informed as he completed each step of the assessment and condition, what he found and what he recommended as he worked. He was very thorough. Was he was completely he explained everything clearing and comprehensible. Our unit ended up being very old and outdated. (Over 20 years), and so the assessment was too detailed and in depth to address it all here. But by the time Josh left, I knew exactly where we stood with our unit and Josh even documented it in detail, took photos and I had it all via email by the end of the day. JD is my immediate “go-to” for EVERYTHING, I need done in the future. I wish when I went to the doctor for a physical, it would be as in depth, timely, and as easy as JD does their “check-ups”and assessments of everything home related. Thanks fellas! JD Service was top notch in every way. Phone call placed for service was handled very well, communication before tech's arrival was excellent, Vincent, the tech, did an excellent job handling the repair. We had a stem that froze up and wouldn't allow proper cold water mix with hot for shower. He removed the stem, found out that he could not get a replacement and then proceeded to disassemble the faucet stem, clean and re-assemble for perfect funtion. He could have told us he needed to cut into the wall, and replace the entire setup since a replacement stem was unavailable. We paid the $60 for the service call. We live in an older house and we will be calling this company back.

JD Service sent a very qualified plumbing professional (Marcus) to repair a broken cpvc pipe while we were remodeling a bathroom. Water line caused us to shut down the main water system. JD got Marcus out to us within 3 hours of calling. Marcus not only repaired leak but proceeded to finish as requested the remaining plumbing items to assure we did not cause more older/brittle pipe to break. Marcus was excellent in explaining the process. I felt cost was appropriate for the emergency to include fixing the remaining plumbing opportunity. Marcus not only finished the job he answered so many questions as we asked during his work. Highly recommend JD and Marcus in the future.

This was first check-up of my Air Conditioning. The maintenance technician was personable, well trained, and articulate. We discussed the past history of the unit. He looked up when my unit was manufactured and gave me a quick assessment of the indoor and outdoor parts of the unit. The outdoor coils needed cleaning. He not only cleaned them, but used ant-fungal and ... well essentially an anti-stick coating. In over ten years of maintenance my previous A/C people had never done that. He provided photos and let me tour with him. Then he gave me valuable tips on some maintenance that I could do, that he cold have made money off of by doing himself. No previous A/C people had ever done that. This is an excellent start. Their e-mail invoices and maintenance reports are better than any I have ever seen previously. If they keep this up, they will certainly receive as many 5 stars as I can give them.
Will and Richard arrived on schedule and were very professional. They patiently brainstormed how to determine where a leak was located. They made the whole transaction very clear and offered useful and informative information about several problems in my new house (which had a lot of deferred maintenance). I will call PJ services for future plumbing and HVAC needs.

I called JDService because my Thermostat wasn't working also my HVAC system putting out heat. The two men came were polite, courteous and straightforward. The servicemen explained to me what they had to do. They did their job. I would highly recommend JD Service.
Needed to have all 3 of our toilets replaced. I attempted to do it as a DIY project but I soon discovered that one of the flanges was shot and needed to be replaced. I called JD service (after hours, on a weekend which was awesome) and was able to schedule an appointment. The techs (Matt and Anna) were thorough, very professional and efficient. They knocked out the entire job in a single visit which we were very thankful for. Will definitely call on JD Service for future needs.
Pretty shocked by my engagement with JD Service Now, and I'm not easily shocked. The hot water went out in our home. I signed up on this company's website for a First Available appointment the following morning (they didn't have any availability that day, which was fine). Received text confirmation. All good.Then four hours later, JD Service Now called me to confirm the appointment. During the confirmation process, the rep asked me if I wanted to sign up for their customer program. I said I didn't. Then the rep said they couldn't make the appointment, and that I'd have to wait nine days for their next available time.This is truly a scam.
Shane and Michael were refreshingly professional. Did some basic HVAC maintenance, for which I paid, and answered a bunch of questions about my HVAC system and helped set my current thermostat in a way the builder seems to have missed when it was originally installed... for which I did not pay... all part of the service. Count me as a JD Service superfan!
I am so pleased with the prompt professional service I received from JD Service Now. I contacted them late Friday afternoon...frantic that I had what appeared to be moisture on my kitchen wall & I had run out of hot water. Our system is 17 years old so another option would be to replace the unit. Josh said he would sit down and build a unit with us depending on what we wanted and then price it out. We had a 19 year old water heater that suddenly broke down and started leaking. Our usual plumber (another company) took three days to respond. However, we called JD Service now and had someone at the house to give us an estimate for a new Tank and Tankless system the same afternoon. Christopher and team installed it the very next day and we had hot water back by 2pm. The prices were fair and the quality of the install was excellent (had to upsize the vent etc).

The 1st floor bath overflowed after the washing machine on the 2nd floor drained from the rinse cycle. A friend referred JDService Now. Kimberly took my call and was very helpful and nice. Being a Sunday, she wasn’t sure if they could fit me in, but it all worked out. Kimberly called to let me know when Vincent was coming to my house . When Vincent arrived he was friendly and very good at explaining what he saw and showed pictures which was very helpful. It was the check valve. We had very good experiences with them in the past 6 months. Our water heater breaks and they were very professional. We had few plumbers came to check it and they were really knowledgeable, and definitely the most professional, we had an installation with an aquaterm. They came back for a pipe replacement and same they were very good. They are not the cheapest when you compare quotes but they know what they are doing and put the right price from the beginning without surprise after.
So far I've had nothing but a good experience with JD service now. Super polite, thorough, professional, and trustworthy. Not pushy at all but do a great job consulting/advising. Antonio just came out and he did a great job.

Casey came out to install an air cleaning / UV light device I had gotten online. He was thorough checking the entire system while he was here and explained everything he was going to do. I was really surprised/impressed how he took his time and didn’t rush.If I had to criticize anything it would be that he took a long time on site….which yes I understand contradicts my appreciation of his thoroughness. My wife already told me that it doesn’t make sense that the thing I liked is also the thing I dislike.The office did a nice job of keeping me up to date of the timing of my appointment. That was super nice.Looking a forward to using them again to do some plumbing work.Update! Had a plumber out to install a toilet, a kitchen sink faucet, and an automatic water shutoff. This was 5th or 6th time I’ve had to call for issues with HVAC system this summer. Only difference this time was that there appeared to be a leak coming from out of the system into he base. Today it was determined that there’s a break in one of the coils causing the leak, as well as some voltage issues were also addressed and fixed on the spot. I am hopeful to have the same technicians return to complete the fix and repair once the new coil/part is ordered.
This company is amazing! Vincent the plumber was knowledgeable, skilled and efficient. This repair could only be done by an expert and a craftsman. Now just waiting to see the job holds up over the next few months.

Received an email with info on the tech before they came out so I knew who was coming to my home and was also called by the technician to let me know he was on his way. Everything was thoroughly explained to me and all of my concerns were addressed. Justin was fantastic! I signed on for their annual plan as well based on the service provided today. They are the best pricing around and customer service was excellent!Update: David came out yesterday for my plumbing check that was included in my annual plan. We went over everything that I needed to get fixed and he was very patient with all of my questions and provided me with tons of information I had no idea about. He came back today to do my repairs (he could have done them yesterday but I requested to get them done today) and made sure I knew what he was doing before he did anything and showed me why certain things require routine maintenance. This is the second time someone from JD Service Now has been out and the service I received was phenomenal! Definitely ask for David for your plumbing needs

First time I ever right a negative review. I help run a property management company and we began to experience leaks in our water lines. This company asked me 20 different questions, kept adding charges on the quoting fee, and had me on the phone for an hour and then told me they refuse to give service at the end. Sucks because I had multiple families going without water. Pretty sure they looked up the address and saw it was mobile home park. Shouldn’t have been a problem though because they were going to get paid regardless however they preferred. I’d rather support proper businesses with good ethics and morals.

David Hugee arrived and quickly assessed that my water heater and expansion tank needed replacing. After contacting the manufacture and verifying the warranty, David of JD Services removed the faulty heater, retrieved the replacement heater from a wholesaler in the area and did a magnificent installation of the replacement water heater and expansion tank. This is the second time I have called JD Services for major emergency services for my home and I have been just thrilled with their customer service, the professionalism of their Technicians and the price wasn’t terrible either!

I've recently been dealing with a nightmare of a situation with a plumber assigned to me by my Home Warranty carrier. I decided to go outside of my contract and hire JD Service Now to address a water pressure issue. David arrived on time and was able to determine the issue within less than 5 minutes...AND he fixed the issue in the guest bath that I had been waiting on a contracted plumber to address for nearly 2 weeks!!! David was amazing, he was friendly and professional from the moment he arrived....David is a true asset to the company! I've cancelled my Home Warranty contract and will use JD Service for ALL plumbing and heating/air services. Thank you!!!!

The process to schedule a technician visit was very easy. All staff I spoke with on the phone were very professional are courteous. We received a phone call about 30 minutes before the technicians arrival to let us know he was on the way. Tony was very professional and friendly and made quick work of fixing our issue. I was very pleased with JD Service Now and will certainly call them in the in future.
I have had JD Service do many different projects for me and I have always been happy with the work. And if something is not quite right, they always come out quickly and fix it for free. I am very happy with all of the employees I have interacted with and have no complaints.

The team of technicians were excellent. They saw the problem, obtained the supplies needed, and fixed the problem in a timely manner. They took pictures to show exactly what and where the problem was located. Cleaned up after completing the job. Very professional and courteous. Very impressed with their knowledge. Adding to the above review, which applies to my situation, both technicians were excellent and professional. Work was done in a timely manner. Being elderly, I can say they were very respectful. Keep them . Did excellent work. Enjoying the new shower head and sprayer.

Our AC went out on a Sunday night, I called 3 places Monday and JDs were the only ones that called back. I was shocked with as hot as it was they told me they could get me done Tuesday morning, but we weren’t able to do anything until Friday due to our work. Just I called before he came out and when he arrived he pretty much walked me through everything he was doing. We actually had 2 issues with our unit that he fixed promptly (despite the heat). He explained all the charges, and enrolled us in their annual maintenance program which saved us 10% and gave us a $50 coupon on the part he had to replace. Justin was very personal and professional and I would recommend this service to everyone.
I wanted to check our systems by another vendor than the one who installed it and tried JD. Shane was very thorough and explained all the problems with options to fix. He was very technical and detailed to all the questions I had and fixed both surge protectors that weren’t wired properly. He also found an issue in the drain line on one of the systems and fixed them besides cleaning. Highly recommend them for their expertise and quality of work.

We got a few of the technicians over to help fix a few issues (plumbing and electrical) we were having at the house this month. Everyone was wonderful: very professional, sympathetic, and kind. They don't only provide outstanding services they also interact with the owners. Shout out to Chris from plumbing, Andrew and his team, as well as Steve and his team from electrical. Marcus and David were very professional and provided us with a variety of options that were available to choose from. We were having some issues with our toilets running and clogging and they were very knowledgeable and figured out the issues quickly. They were patient and did a great job of explaining the benefits of the service plans. I’d definitely recommend!

The whole process was outstanding. I got three quotes from three different companies. JJ gave me three different options in different price ranges and capabilities. The installation was great 5-6 hours. They were half done by the time I got out there to talk with them. They answered all of my questions, “why do I need a new pad”, “why are drilling a hole in my house”(the code changed and the wire to thermostat needs to be protected). Would recommend this company and I don’t say that often.

Love the JD Service Family! Yup family cause they go that extra mile to answer your questions and make sure that your system is up and running 100% I know come winter time my family and I will be nice and warm because Justin made sure out system was running as it should and anything that it needed was take. Care of.As for Justin?? Super nice guy!! Came to my door like he was part of the family and was happy to see us. He was smiling and friendly. And even was happy to love on our dog Jemma. He put booties on his feet and made sure not to track any leaves Into my house, come to think about it my family doesn’t do that! 😁I can’t recommend JD service now or Have enough good things to say about Justin as I was very very pleased with both!!

JD Service Now came out to give me an estimate for a sewer pipe. Chris and Dom were awesome. They had all the answers and were confident in those answers. I signed up for their maintenance program because of how reasonable it was. They also gave me 3 options to work with.

I have had excellent experience with JD Service Now. Technicians Christopher and Niko Mammon have been to my home to address plumbing issues and have been incredibly pleasant, professional and so thorough in their work. Electrician Lewis Compton has also been out to my home and has also been thorough and so pleasant! I’m very happy with the service I’ve received through JD Service Now and would highly recommend!
Esteban was super friendly, kind, and helpful. He did a great job with our plumbing repair, and then he also checked out a bathroom sink and told us about an electrical problem we would not have discovered on our own. We highly recommend him. 6 Stars!

These guys were absolutely great (Rotley and Jordan). Ac was repaired in a timely manner and they ALWAYS used their booties upon entering the house. I have used JD Service before and always had a positive experience. Techs are pleasant and knowledgeable. I have tried cheaper companies, but was never as satisfied with service/price as I am with JD Service.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! After requesting service by booking an appointment through the website 5 days in advance, someone called within 12 hours of the appointment time to reschedule due to no availability. Excuse after excuse was made and the only date available was for 72 hours after requested appointment, even when the website allows booking earlier. They are not reliable, honest, or focused on the customer.

Theron arrived at the time I was given. He listened to me explain the problem and then he started checking to see what he thought the problem was and he was right. He gave me three options to pick from. The bladder in the water tank went bad so he went and got a new one. He came back and replaced the tank and put in a new filter. Theron checked to make sure everything was working good, which it was then we suddenly we didn’t have water again before he left. He went back under the house and we then had a water leak. A fitting broke and there was a lot of water. He repaired the leak. I felt sorry for him he was so muddy from all the water but he was very polite and courteous to me during the whole process.
There was an initial SNAFU with scheduling, but they then sent 3 technicians (Josh, Chris, and Casey) to 4 locations and got caught up. All were excellent--professional, knowledgeable, communicative, and polite.
Josh K was great. He answered all of my questions and he made sure I understood what the problem was and what my options were. My AC works better now than it did when I first bought my new home. I will definitely call JD Service Now for any future issues.
Henry Buckelew was very professional and friendly. His analysis of our HVAC system was thorough. He answered all questions, and showed me his findings along with detailed explanations. He was very transparent about issues and provided lots of photo documentation. I highly recommend JD Service Now, along with a shout out for Henry.
I observed an unexpected pool of water in my front yard. JD Service Now returned my call promptly. They sent the technician (Marcus) the next day. Marcus found the leak in the water main. He showed me that a tree root had grown too large and pushed up against the water main. He repaired the leak within the hour. Well done!

Justin did my bi-annual furnace cleaning today and did a great job. He was prompt (actually early) and went about checking my unit for any problems. He suggested a cleaning and a new capacitor so that my unit would run it's best through the summer. He finished up in about 20 minutes and helped me get my closet back together. I would recommend Justin from JD's Servicenow.Justin came today to do my bi-annual cleaning and he is still as thorough as before. I find that the HVAC people and the plumbers with JD Service Now are intelligent and well trained in their fields and I enjoy working with them.

Before we hired JD Service Now, we had 4 other plumbers from different plumbing companies come to our house. They’d run the water for 5 minutes and tell us nothing was wrong. 20 gallons of water didn’t come from no where!Evan was absolutely amazing! He was determined to find out what happened. I found a leak in my bathroom copper pipes. I called JD Service and they were very quick to get a technician here. Matt was personable and professional and went right to work. He told me the strategy and informed me when and why he had to try something else. Total pro! I will call JD Service from here on out.

Furnace unit stopped working due to a dirty sensor. Wish I had listened to their technician a few months ago when he recommended their burner and sensor cleaning service; would have saved some money and inconvenience. Happy they were able to come out within a couple hours and fix the problem. Very courteous and friendly technician.
JD Service Now came out the same day as my AC went out. I was thankful. Justin was professional and fixed the problem quickly. The services were expensive with the $99 charge to even come out to my house.

Excellent electrical service. Had a “unique” situation in our garage that required some creative thinking. Could not be happier with the results.
Shane Heidecker was like having a brother in our house doing the work. He was very nice and respectful to us and to our property, our home. He took the time to answer our questions.
My heater broke - both the AC and heater were around 16 years old. I've always suffered from an inefficient unit and high energy bills. Josh came out on Friday and inspected my unit and gave me all of my options. At this point I think it made more sense to replace it all and get a more efficient home in the process. Long story short the team came bright and early on Tuesday and had everything running by 4:00pm. The team Mitch, Miguel, and Carlos were great. They even moved my storage shed that was next to the AC outdoor unit around the house and into the backyard. I don't write reviews often but the service was exceptional.
We had our old heater fixed 5 years ago when the weather got really bad here in Durham. It was snowing and was minus weather temperatures. I tried calling another business but none of them had the time nor care to come right away. I ended up calling JD Services and someone came out right away and the price of the machine was pretty great. Works great on the summer and also in the winter time. As of recent after 5 years of use the heating part of the new machine we have gotten had stopped working and we called the service number to get someone to look at it. In under an hour someone came to my home and had a look at it. The diagnostic was accurate and warm air was running all through the house! Great fast service and nice kind people too! I’d recommend to everyone.
Marcus did an amazing job assisting our family with several repairs for our new home. Marcus helped us repair a leak, install a washer and dryer connection in our basement, fix a toilet, and repair a valve for one of our bathroom showers/tub. Marcus has always been very kind, courteous, and professional every time he has come to our home. Thank you so much Marcus for everything!

I was very impressed with my experience with JD service. They called me early as they had a cancelation and were able to squeeze me in during a time that is convenient for me. The technician, Rotley, showed up on time and was friendly. He even showed me how my heating system worked and how to provide routine maintenance. He was professional and went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased with the service. I was very happy with everything and even used a coupon which made everything very affordable.
Guys from the company were courteous, polite, and helpful. My water was turned off because I had leak between the house and the meter so I had no water and the work couldn’t be done until after the holiday. However David didn’t want me to go through the.holiday with no water and didn’t either, he arrange for a temporary line to be run and offered to do it if no one else could. Having worked in service, that is what customer service is all about. The guy that he got to do it arrived at 9;30 and was done by 10:30, he came inside to check to see if everything was good and flushed the air out the lines before leaving. This has never happened to me before, however I’m glad I called them although the line isn’t complete they made sure I had water for that I’m greatly.
