HIGHLY recommend! I call Centerset for ALL my plumbing needs! I originally hired them to install my
Kitchen faucet and was so impressed with the professionalism, helpfulness and ease of the job that I decided that going forward I will ONLY use Centerset for my plumbing needs! Since my faucet I have had simple jobs like hair clogs in my shower done to emergency jobs like a sprinkler pressure vale bursting and flooding my yard… regardless of the intensity of the Centerset has been immediate in their response & have become a company that I truly can depend on! I especially like that they are straightforward with communicating the cost of my job without outrageous up charges like I have experienced with other plumbing companies! A good & honest plumber is hard to come by so I am VERY thankful to have found Centerset 👍🏻👍🏻

Temp fix, drain not fully cleared

Old Towne Plumbing is a scammy company. I have a tenant who believed she had mold in her unit, so she called this company. Carl Shields came out and told her it was bad. I spoke to him and he told me it was bad and would need all sorts of expensive work. To prove it, he told me would come back to the unit with a camera and take pictures of the insides of the walls. He said he would hire a 3rd party company to take samples and do testing. Shields quoted me at $800 for the testing and told me that everything else would be part of a free estimate.

Everything about him seemed fishy, but I was very busy with other work at the time and my tenant was so convinced she was getting sick due to mold. I told Shields to send me a work contract before doing any testing. He never sent the work contract nor did I sign anything; he scheduled with the tenant and came in there to do the testing anyway and tried to bill me for $1,210.

When I objected to the extra $410 in extraneous charges, instead of addressing them, Shields started to accuse me of being an absentee landlord.

I don’t know how many plumbing companies out there make their work on predatory practices like this, but this is the first time I’ve ever come across it. Steer clear of this company!

I woke up to a flooded lawn and called these guys. They found a leak in my main water line and fixed it in a couple of hours. Nice people, I would use them again.

Extremely rude over the phone! Called to have someone come out to give me an estimate for some work on my house. Right off the bat, they made several incorrect assumptions then promptly spoke over me and raised their voice when I tried to correct their ignorance. You don't have to be the best or the cheapest to get my business, but you do have to be respectful to the customer. They spoke down to me as if I knew nothing about having a sewer line installed, but they didn't know I'm an architect and deal with plumbing issues routinely. What's worse is that they wouldn't even let me explain that to them. I would NEVER use their services and neither should you.

I've read your response and it reiterates all the incorrect the assumptions that you made on the phone. Since our one-sided conversation, I've had several, qualified, plumbers come out free of charge to look at the property and give me estimates. None of them wanted to charge me $425 (unlike you). However, the cost is not what bothered me; you're free to charge whatever you want. What bothered me was that you spoke over me, were very impatient and assumed my project would fail with me acting as the GC without even knowing my background or abilities. PS - there's a nice way to let people know you're not interested in doing a job.

I first learned on Apex through Home Advisors. I spoke with Leon and he was AWESOME! Although I ended up not getting anything done, in speaking with Leon, he left a lasting impression. Fast forward to this past weekend (Easter). I needed fast, quick and reliable work done on my shower. I texted Leon on Easter day and he responded back and agreed to come over to my house the next day (today). Workmanship was impeccable and I actually had him replace a toilet as well! I also set up an appointment for two more toilet installs for Wednesday. I have finally found our family plumber....Thank God! We usually use First Option Plumbing for our office when we are in need of a plumber and we have gotten great service every time! We did have a new toilet installed and we realized there was a small leak after they left. Once I called, they immediately sent out another team to fix our leak. They are very responsive and will usually come no later than 2 days time.

The water heater and water lines had to be removed and replaced to a different outdoor location - not a standard job. Great communication and on-time performance of tasks. An additional trip to coordinate with an electrician was needed which was scheduled and performed. I am grateful beyond words. Graham Plumbing met and exceeded my highest expectations.

I was directed to this company from socalgas for my water heater issue. Got diagnosed and told for pilot assembly and gas controller issue. I am not an expert so I had to go by the guys who are claiming ‘experts’ themselves. I was given the estimate of $525 to fix the issue and the technician said it would be an hour work job. Since it was an emergency, I even paid the express shipping fee to order the parts.

For the estimate I was given compared to the time required to fix totally did match for me so I had a handyman I know to come and look at it. He diagnosd for gas connect issue and fixed it in 10 minutes without replacing any parts and all the complicated work process.

I called the company again spoke to the manager but they only went by the manual and gave the estimate based on their rates and blah blah. They could have been right and how I resolved my issue could be only temporary, but, if this company/technician really concerned about my issue he could had done the same thing and fix ‘temporarily’ since we had been asserting the issue is emergent since the issue is at my business rather than just giving me the $525 repair estimate cost in the beginning. In results, I am still waiting for the parts that I didn’t even get to see those yet that I paid for express and paid diagnosis did not help me at all.

Be aware when you deal with the company.
