I asked for an estimate for a new humidifier, EAC, and UV air purifier through Angi. Tipping Hat responded right away, and they were the only company that did. Chris came out the next day. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave me several new options to consider that I hadn't thought of. I enjoyed talking to him.I went with another company for the work, for budgetary reasons and a prior working relationship. But, Chris left me with a very positive impression of Tipping Hat as a company I might want to work with for future HVAC needs.

The team installed a new furnace after damage was found in the previous system that was life threatening. Their work was done efficiently and completed in half a day. They took care to protect the flooring. They gave good instructions for running the system.

I had a toilet replaced and a drain cleared recently. Dylan was very courteous and gave me a couple of options on how I wanted to deal with the issues I had. He arranged to complete the installation on a following day and that went off as planned and was performed very quickly. We haven't had any issues since and we have a brand new toilet that was perfectly installed.

My experience felt like one huge scam. I recently bought a place and got an HVAC service from my realtor as a closing gift. Both are working just fine and have been. I expect them to continue to do so for a couple of years if Mr. Fix It didn't do something to break it yesterday.I KNOW that my units are old, but they are working... I was quoted $3700 in repairs and made to think it was an emergency. He said he would not even clean it for me, because that would not do any good?! Are you kidding me? I'm sorry I can't drop thousands of dollars right now to support your commission. He wouldn't give me an actual quote on replacement (someone else has to come do that). He said they cannot replace one part at a time or just do this or that, you MUST do ALL repairs or replace your units.I will call a fair, responsible HVAC tech on Monday.
