Best Regular Maintenance in Dallas TX

I had a service completed on 7/11/22 to reattach a duct that came off in the attic. I already knew what the problem was and it was a quick 10-15 minute fix to attach it back with tape.1. In a text message before the person came out the text said They would give me up front pricing. This never happened but what the installer said was Well you know what the problem is you could cancel now and fix it yourself for free. People do this all the time. This was a very strange thing for the person to say.2. It was a 10 minute fix to tape up and then he sat in his vehicle for 30 minutes to see if it would cool down. Meanwhile I did the correct technical thing of getting a ladder and checking the temp and flow in every vent to ensure cool air was flowing out. After about 30 minutes the installer came back in and said well it cooled down 2 degrees I guess it works3. When the installer was on his ipad finalizing the job he said well all it lets me check is duct work. He acted like that wasn't really the price it should be but it was all that was available for him to check.So I ended up paying $89 for a Diagnosis when I already knew and told the company what the issue was. Then paid an additonal $304 for the installer to tape the duct back. Then he sat in the car and I did the work to ensure it was fixed correctly. I ended up paying $393 for 15 minutes of work, which is $1,572/hour, and I did half the work. This seems a bit excessive.When I told the company what the problem was they could have told me the minimum for that would have been $393 and I would have just did the work myself to begin with. The company failed to give me up front pricing which I have in a text that they would.I emailed all of this to the company and they called me back 24 hours later. I told this to the person and he said he would discuss with the owner and get back to me. It has been four days now and I have not gotten a reply back.Due to all of this I have said the company was the following1. Unresponsive (due to not getting back to me when they said they would).2. Poor value (due to charging me $1,572 an hour when I did half the work3. Not professional (due to not telling me upfront what the price would be, especially when they texted me they would do this. Plus the installer was very aloof and unprofessional.I had used the company before for my HVAC maintenance and they did fine then, but this has left a very bad impression for me.

Honest. I would recommend to any property manager.

I normally do not write reviews, but...I was quoted $89 over the phone for a drain clog. They said if it's a quick fix, that's the total cost. They came in, fixed it in 10 minutes, and handed me an invoice for $240. When I asked, they replied oh it's usually double that.I do not recommend this company

They diagnosed the situation correctly that another firm missed enabling us to get existing system working. Other folks said we needed new. We did not. Walker made it work.
