Best Replace Electric Water Heater in Chicago IL
This morning as i was headed out the door i noticed something out of the corner of my eye. soap bubbles. at the rim of the kitchen sink. odd i think to myself and walk over to inspect. the kitchen sink is completely full of water which is really odd because there was no water running. i call work and tell them i will be late and go grab the plunger. i plunge and i plunge and nothing happens so call a plumber i must.
rob was the 3rd plumber i called and the first who answered his phone. i told him the problem. he told me what he thought it was. he told me he would call me back in 10 minutes to let me know when his guys could be over.
in the meantime i got distracted by the apartment building on the corner catching on fire.
15 minutes or so later rob called back. his guys would be there in a half hour to an hour. about 40 minutes later two guys showed up. took some things apart. snaked some things. got the water draining properly again. i'm on the first floor and the main line for the building was filled with a rock of grease. they showed me a pipe in my sink's drain that seriously needed to be replaced. it had a huge rust spot and completely crumbled upon further inspection. a quick trip to home depot for a new pipe. installed the pipe and out the door they went.
i am a new homeowner and this was my first time dealing with a plumber. i can say with certainty these guys will be my first call next time i have troubles!

My building had an issue with our heating system last week that was temporarily addressed during an emergency visit by a heating company, and Goode came out to provide a quote for full repair in addition to the previous quote we'd gotten from the heating company that came out the previous week.Even though the tech identified fairly early on that Goode would likely not be the right provider to resolve the issue (because we have a low-pressure steam system that requires a specialist), they still spent about half an hour walking around various components of the system and talking through potential causes, solutions, and functional information that was both incredibly helpful and very above and beyond what I expected from an estimation visit. They were able to identify a number of things that the other heating specialist company had not investigated, recommended a few other companies that might be able to help if we needed additional estimates or work done, and offered a few options that Goode could offer to try and help things if we were interested, but were in no way pushing anything.I'm not sure I've ever had a tech come out that was this professional, educational, and helpful for an estimation visit. While they didn't perform work, I cannot express how impressed I was with how they handled the situation. They are now on our short list of plumbing vendors for future work.

Great Service
I called Mike after hearing about him from a neighbor. I had a different neighbor let me know about a leak into her unit. I set up a time for him to come by and take a look. He showed up on time, wore gloves while he worked and was able to confirm the “O” ring needed to be replaced. He was done in under an hour! He then checked to make sure it filled and flushed properly. I highly recommend.

Our basement flooded this Saturday after the tremendous rain Chicago experienced. I tried restarting the two hot water heaters in our basement and had no luck. I called and spoke briefly to someone who basically said you don't need me to do a house call and here is what you do. It took a day for the heaters to dry out but following his advice they did finally re-ignite. I'm sure they were slammed with work following the our rainstorms but it was super nice of them to give out free instructions to someone over the phone.

This is the second time my husband and I have used Handico and we continue to be extremely pleased with the service, quality, and professionalism. I was one-week out from my due date when our neighbor's washing machine leaked into our ceiling directly across from the nursery. Although it wasn't a true emergency, Joe still got someone out right away so we could have peace of mind before the baby arrived. Andrew arrived on time, worked efficiently, fixed the issue, and explained his work, all for a reasonable price especially given the expedited service. We would highly recommend Handico to anyone seeking top notch handyman services!

Mo came within 24 hours of contacting him to fix a couple of patches of water damaged ceiling. He did a great job repairing the ceiling and was very friendly as well. He even checked out the plumbing work we had recently had done in our bathtub and added a bit of silicone to make sure we definitely wouldn’t have more leaks (at no extra charge). I would definitely recommend Mo to others as he is skilled and reasonably priced.

I paid $95 to John to diagnosis my sewer gas smell in my house which can be hazardous. He did not provide a diagnosis for what my issue was, mainly gave me a bunch of “maybe it’s this” or “maybe it’s this” or your house is just old and your going to have to replace the whole main pipe through the house resolve the issue. This was all in a span of 15 min and I gave $95 for this service call, so basically was left with more questions than answers. I even started to question my career choice, and thought about going into plumbing business and tell 9 out of 10 people what he said and make a quick $95 in 15 min. On the contrary, with Kennedy Plumbing located in Alsip, they were able to come in and find out what was going on and why I was getting the smell. They found out it was the P trap in the ground and gave a few options and how I can contain the smell until I’m ready to do the repair. Again, I highly recommend Kennedy plumbing!
