Bought a Rheem Tankless Hot Water Heater and had a contractor install it. I wasn't happy with the answers or remedy I received from my contractor when the first time I went to do laundry, the unit was making loud noises and vibrating. I called Rheem customer care center and spoke to a technician. Everything I described was pointing to a ventilation problem. I told my contractor and he came out and said he didn't see a venting problem.
That's when I went on line at Rheem and there was a list of 27 Plumbers recommended that were Tankless experts. I called John Baetnke & Son because they were the closest. After reviewing the problem, the tech called Rheem tech support. The tech said he was told by Rheem that either 2 inch or 3 inch PVC vent pipes should be used but not a mixture. My contractor used 2 inch pipes for the first 15 inches that lead to 3 inch pipes the rest of the way. The tech said he would have to reschedule since he didn't have the 3 inch pipes. I paid $180 for that visit. He said that the work work would cost $800 to replace the 2 inch to 3 inch, 15 to 18 inches in length to resolve the problem. I needed the problem resolved so I agreed. He came back a couple of days later and replaced the pipes but the loud noise and vibration was still there. He said it was a venting issue per Rheem. To stop the vibrating, he put 3 screws into the cover but it still was vibrating and loud. My wife said check the outside venting so he went to get a tall ladder. Upon return, he said the ladder wasn't tall enough to reach the vent. But my wife paid the bill. I called Rheem and told them I wasn't spending any more money to a system that wasn't working properly. So Rheem tech support, Linda sent out their Warranty crew and they replaced the unit, but it still made a loud noise and was still vibrating. They said it was the outside vent. They didn't have a ladder tall enough but went they got close enough, they could see the heat venting from the side cover vs the exhaust hole. They determined the cover outside was on backwards. I called my General Contractor a told him of the finding and when he came out with a tall ladder, his worker reversed the cover and the loud noise and vibrating stopped. I paid $1000+ total to John Baetnke & Son Plumbing to resolve my problem which wasn't resolved. Disappointed in the cost for work not resolved and in my General Contractor.

A drain in my basement was draining slowly and the p-trap of the drain appeared to be broken. I called the plumber in to dig up the floor around the drain and put in a new pipe with a p-trap. They dug up the pipe and found some problems with the connection to the sewer. They had to do more extensive repairs than first suspected. They completed the job in a day and a half and the price came in higher than the estimate but about what I expected given the additional work. The basement floor was restored with a layer of concrete around the new drain cover.

Had a problem with my kitchen drain, called Accurate and Jeff was able to come out immediately to diagnose and expertly fix my issue. I'm more than happy with the service, however I ended up paying significantly more than I was originally quoted due to the job taking just about an hour... time was taken sitting out front when he got here, going back and forth to the van, removing gloves and taking other customers' phone calls, etc. If I'm paying by the minute then you should spend every second on my job. Seemed like milking the clock to wipe up, take time to write out invoice by hand, all to tell me it was over an hour so I'll be charged an additional $80. Not cool. Charged me for the extra ½ hour then took off quick, so he could charge the next customer for that same time, leaving my floor and under my sink disgusting, splashed with black muck from the drain. The sink on the other side was still clogged, presumably from back up, I had to remove the pipe under the sink to the P trap and clear it myself to complete a job I overpaid for.

I have used HandiCo Inc. for many jobs and they always do fantastic work. They offer complete perfection. Each job has been completed with true excellence. Their people are always on time and get the job done perfectly with no time wasted. No matter what I ask them to do, they have no problem doing it-and I have asked them to some difficult jobs. I have also asked them to do some small jobs. It doesn’t matter. They get it right no matter the size and scope of the work. They always take their shoes off when they enter the house. They always clean up after the job is done. I am a very high maintenance person. I want perfection and with HandiCo Inc. I get it.
