Rob West Plumbing has done a number of jobs for us and I have to say they have been done professionally on time and at a reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone.

Called Goode to fix the second failed cartridge in two faucets (I had fixed the first one myself a few years ago). Not only did they come out the day after I called but they were able to fix the new one and complete the last step of the first one I could not do myself and was living with. Price was reasonable and the job was done quickly, cleanly and right!

We contacted rescue plumbing to replace our aging water heater. They were very prompt and did an excellent job! We had Vance come out and they even cleaned up the utility closet after it was all complete. I will definitely use them again.

Recently, I bought a home and had some issues with the hot water heater. I contacted the Burris and Sons company to see if they could help me with my issue and receptionist was kind with helping outline my issue and provided me some times over the weekend for when Mr. Burris could help with my water heater issue which I am particularly grateful he works weekends. So Burris did a follow up before he arrived at my home to make sure he was bringing the right parts.

He arrived early, and he first contacted the water heater company to see if he could save me some money on parts. Then as he fixed the water heater, he told me exactly what he was doing. I really appreciate the work he did.

Michael came out this morning to repair our ejector pump that has been giving us issues for some time now. He was on time, quick and didn't charge us extra money for being in such a rush. Will use again for any future plumbing repairs.

I called W&W to request assistance with a drain/smell issue and a toilet repair. Relatively new home owner here (we moved in August last year). Hadn't had any real plumbing issues yet in the house until about a week or 2 ago. Suddenly when we washed laundry the basement slop sink would back up a little and super slowly go down. Tried to plunge and rod it but didn't work permanently. Later, the dishwasher started causing the backup as well. Then, the shower, then, even flushing the toilet backed it up. Now the water was actually s*!t water brown at this point even saw toilet paper floating in it. Figured it it must for sure be the main line needed rodding after chatting with some folks and googling. So earlier today we call Roto-Rooter, about 4 hours later guy comes out, takes a look at the access we have outside to the main, then says he can't rod it, gotta wait until tomorrow. Now it's way later and we can't use any more water (brown water backup in basement sink if we do) can't shower etc... aaaaand back at square one. We called 3 more places to try and ask, get quotes, etc. One place guy wanted to charge $800. Another can't come out until tomorrow. Finally after almost giving up for the night we call Mike's. Super high reviews on Google! (4.8) BUUUUUUUT only 4 reviews we say.... Well we decided to give him a call, worth a shot we figured. Call after 10 PM on Sunday night. (Today as of this writing, 4/23/2017). He was out here by 1105PM. Opened up the access quick, ran in and ran all the water with me, noticed now the upstairs bathroom toilet and shower we're backing up instead of basement slop sink. (Reason was now slop sink was clogged secondarily cause of the backup of the s*!t water) he helped unclog that secondary one (AND a bit of the upstairs shower too) at no extra charge. About 20 minutes later if even, heard the huge slurp and saw the toilet backup shoot down the drain. Everything fixed like 20-30 minutes after arrival. Big ol rodder machine did the trick. Also explained a lot of the plumbing around the house. Went both ways with the rodder too from the access just in case. Ended up pulling out a lot of roots and stuff (I guess usually it's roots, supposed to get the main line rodded as a preventative maintenance item every 6mo to 2 years it sounds like) Total price was better than roto rooter as well. Friendly, professional. Plus, mentioned during the daytime and when not in a hurry like today as a preventative maintenance item it'd be even cheaper too. Will definitely be calling again if/when another bigger problem calls for a pro. Very happy we went with a good local place even tho he only had the 4 reviews, and I'm happy to be writing the 5th. If you need a pro, call Mike. And then leave some more good reviews!

Excellent work, very reasonable price and he arrived about an hour after he called. No charge for same day service. We are very happy and not sure how it could gone any better.

We had a faulty toilet that was leaking and causing issues. Darrell came out right away and was able to remove it and get a new toilet installed within a couple hours.

Darrell's team did a great job, and also did all the extras to go above and beyond. They were safe and wore masks, left the work area spotless, and worked around us while we were working from home (in a 1-bedroom apartment). He even worked with our neighbors downstairs to help us out with cleaning the leak as affordably as possible.

This is the second time my husband and I have used Handico and we continue to be extremely pleased with the service, quality, and professionalism. I was one-week out from my due date when our neighbor's washing machine leaked into our ceiling directly across from the nursery. Although it wasn't a true emergency, Joe still got someone out right away so we could have peace of mind before the baby arrived. Mo came within 24 hours of contacting him to fix a couple of patches of water damaged ceiling. He did a great job repairing the ceiling and was very friendly as well. He even checked out the plumbing work we had recently had done in our bathtub and added a bit of silicone to make sure we definitely wouldn’t have more leaks (at no extra charge). I would definitely recommend Mo to others as he is skilled and reasonably priced.

I've used their services twice and both times have been smooth and easy. They are SUPER fast to respond via the Yelp interface and if you call them they will connect you with a technician within the hour. In both cases, we had someone out within either an hour or two for an assessment. The latest call was for a kitchen sink emergency and Gabriel was out within 2 hours, made the assessment super quick, explained the issue and solve very thoroughly, and was back the next morning to fix everything. He was done within an hour -- sooner than expected -- and was careful to clean up any debris from the job and left the space better than he found it. Highly recommend Captain Rooter and Gabriel!

I paid $95 to John to diagnosis my sewer gas smell in my house which can be hazardous. He did not provide a diagnosis for what my issue was, mainly gave me a bunch of “maybe it’s this” or “maybe it’s this” or your house is just old and your going to have to replace the whole main pipe through the house resolve the issue. This was all in a span of 15 min and I gave $95 for this service call, so basically was left with more questions than answers. I even started to question my career choice, and thought about going into plumbing business and tell 9 out of 10 people what he said and make a quick $95 in 15 min. On the contrary, with Kennedy Plumbing located in Alsip, they were able to come in and find out what was going on and why I was getting the smell. They found out it was the P trap in the ground and gave a few options and how I can contain the smell until I’m ready to do the repair. Again, I highly recommend Kennedy plumbing!
