They answered my call about a clogged sink/garbage disposal/dishwasher and were able to schedule an appointment for the following day (not an emergency issue). They arrived promptly and were very friendly. It took about an hour, which was the quoted time, and the issue was resolved. There were a few additional things they found which were also fixed. Both men explained what the issue was, what to do in the future, and how they fixed it. I highly recommend them!

I’d called another company who quoted ridiculous amounts and frankly the guy who came out try to oversell me. Garrity had installed a hot water heater quickly for our condo building, so I called for new seals on my toilets. They were quick, efficient, well priced and on time. You cannot ask for better. If I ever need anything else in Chicago for plumbing - I’ll always call them. Thanks!!

I tried to fix the problem on my own, but needed some professional help. I had seen Joe referred from the Dunning Community Discussion and Board Facebook page so I reached out. He was very responsive and we quickly set up a time for him to check out the problem. He gave me a good quote and was out by the end of the week to do the job. He even worked on a Saturday to get the job done sooner. It was a great experience, and I’ll call him for any future plumbing work.

They fixed our broken pocket door, changed our Hoppe lock color, fixed a hole in our door and aligned another door. Excellent job, very professional, hard worker, would definitely hire again!!

I've used Fix It People a couple of times, and I am spoiled. Their service is just so good. The whole team is easy to communicate with, and I am always so happy with the outcome. Once, some electrical work didn't come out the way I'd imagined it, and I didn't realize it till AFTER all the drywall work was done because the lights were going in last, and when I spoke up...they just sent the electrician back out and fixed it all, very quickly. It was truly no big deal. We are also super picky and have been satisfied by the quality of the work done. And, each time the actual cost of the work has been slightly lower than the quote, which means that the budgeting and financial planning surrounding the projects has never been thrown off by Fix It People.

Professional, answered all my questions and knew exactly what the problem was, fixed all of my 3 problems that i had in my unit.
