Best HVAC System Repair in Chicago IL

After torrential rains, we ended up with some water in the basement. Goode came out quickly -- same day that I called -- and Drew rodded out the sewer line. This helped some, but after video review of the sewer line, before and after , the real issue was revealed to be an abundance of silt collecting in low spots , something that no amount of rodding was going to cure. Rodding just stirs it up, the silt resettles and the drain line ends up constricted. Drew suggested hydro-jetting the line, and pumping excess silt out of the catch basin. This sounded like a good plan and Drew was able to line up all the pieces -- the jet and pump trucks, the crews, etc - for the next morning -- Saturday, even though the office initially said it would have to wait until Monday. Saturday first thing, the guys were back and we got it all done. A good thing too, since another torrential downpour occurred on Sunday !! Though the streets looked like we would need an Ark, our basement did not flood. The cleaned out sewer line flowed like a champ and did not back up. I commend Drew for making the extra effort to expedite getting the work done. Many thanks!

I contacted Mr. Burris on the recommendation of a neighbor. Prior to meeting Mr. Burris, I was told by two other plumbers (allegedly with years of experience) that tree roots had infiltrated the sewer line to such an extent that the only option was to dig up the floor of a finished basement to replace the pipe at a cost of thousands of dollars not including the cost to replace the flooring. I asked them about more conservative options, rodding, Hydro jetting, etc. They ruled all of them out and stated it was beyond repair. They insisted that my only option was to dig and replace. In my first conversation with Mr. Burris, he assured me he had seen this movie before, and he could solve the problem. He diagnosed the problem and cleared the sewer line. Instead of a jack hammer he used his skill, knowledge and experience garnered over 60 years to do what the other plumbers could or would not do at a fraction of the cost of replacing the line. He was prompt, thorough and competent. I am delighted with the outcome. In the future I will only call Burris and Sons for my plumbing needs.

Fantastic, responsive service. I needed a leaking kitchen faucet fixed ASAP and they had someone out the next day. Lenny was extremely friendly, professional, and FAST. He was nice enough to patch a bad crack we had in our granite countertop near the faucet, and he even had some treats for our little dog. I will definitely use CJ Plumbing & Heating for all my future plumbing and HVAC projects.

Had a problem with my kitchen drain, called Accurate and Jeff was able to come out immediately to diagnose and expertly fix my issue. I'm more than happy with the service, however I ended up paying significantly more than I was originally quoted due to the job taking just about an hour... time was taken sitting out front when he got here, going back and forth to the van, removing gloves and taking other customers' phone calls, etc. If I'm paying by the minute then you should spend every second on my job. Seemed like milking the clock to wipe up, take time to write out invoice by hand, all to tell me it was over an hour so I'll be charged an additional $80. Not cool. Charged me for the extra ½ hour then took off quick, so he could charge the next customer for that same time, leaving my floor and under my sink disgusting, splashed with black muck from the drain. The sink on the other side was still clogged, presumably from back up, I had to remove the pipe under the sink to the P trap and clear it myself to complete a job I overpaid for.

I have used Great Lakes Plumbing several times. Always do great work, clean up after themselves and respond quickly. Highly recommended.
