Replacing a broken garbage disposal and corroded drain pipes.HandiCo did a great job for a very reasonable price. Scheduling went smoothly, and Demond arrived right on time. He was professional and personable, making me feel very confident that he would do the work well. I initially planned to just have the garbage disposal replaced, but he caught the corroded drain pipes and was very up front about the additional work. I had previously had a plumber out to bid on the work who was going to charge over $1,000 and was up selling me on a membership and additional work without giving a good sense of why I needed either. Demond did the work and got the materials (except the new disposal I already had) for just over $200 and rounded down on his time. I’d happily use them again, and will talk to my condo association about using them for other jobs in our buildings.

This is the second time I’ve used Fixer, and I’ve been very satisfied with both experiences. For both visits, my Fixer was Andrew M. He’s a very conscientious worker and has always been on time and completed work in the estimated time frames. He’s also patient in explaining answers to questions I had about the repairs - so I also learned some things from him. I appreciate Fixer providing such competent and friendly staff.

The definition of a Professional. Extremely resourceful, reliable, and skilled when faced with varied and challenging jobs (I’ve had many —— carpentry, closet build out, electrical installations, etc). It’s comforting to know things will turn out great!!

Ray came in and gave our whole apartment a makeover with great humor and sensitivity to COVID protocols. We had a couple jobs that stretched out over several days, and he took time to explain what he was doing, why, and how long everything would take. He was also so friendly and warm and brought a wealth of experience to our home - ask him about his time in the painter's union!

Mo came within 24 hours of contacting him to fix a couple of patches of water damaged ceiling. He did a great job repairing the ceiling and was very friendly as well. He even checked out the plumbing work we had recently had done in our bathtub and added a bit of silicone to make sure we definitely wouldn’t have more leaks (at no extra charge). I would definitely recommend Mo to others as he is skilled and reasonably priced.
