Best Drain Cleaner Service in Chicago IL

I had a plumbing issue at my house and called Roto-Rooter because I wanted to be sure the job was done right. Mike (Mike 2080) arrived as scheduled and gave me a thorough assessment of my problem. Mike took the time to fully explain what was going on and why and answered all of my many questions. Mike performed the work professionally and left my house as clean as when he arrived. We had a problem with our sewage line and called these guys to come and fix it as they had hydro jet our line before. They arrived late and took a look at the problem. We had some issue finding the sewage cap as we didn’t know exactly where it was on the property. They told us to dig for it, it would be a $185 charge. Then, they proceeded to tell us that in order to hydro jet the line, they’d need to remove my toilet - a $435 job. I told them to keep digging, verbally agreeing to the additional $185. I stepped away for a few minutes to see if I could find documentation of where the sewage cap was, and they left. Packed up their stuff and drove away. We eventually found the cap and called them back, and they were able to fix the problem, but then told us of a potentially larger issue. Given their track record and similar experiences I’ve seen, I don’t trust them at all. Will never be using these guys again.

My water heater was leaking so I went through my home insurance to make a claim. Home insurance sends out these clowns. 4S plumbing reports back to my insurance that the water heater needs to be replaced and that I need $415 in other parts not covered by the insurance company. I wasn’t there when the new water heater got installed. They did replace the water heater but also made out with $415.
The tech told me the $415 was for labor. Scammers.
The insurance covers the labor. All I should of payed was the deductible. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
If you do read good reviews it’s probably them that are writing them.

Buyer beware! These people are shady and will fake you out with bogus receipts. I am waiting to see when they are busted for their scammy practices.
