Aug 2023- Second time with Michael & Sons. This time my service tech was Thomas. He’s was great!!! Figured out the problem and solution quickly. He was very responsive to my input and really helped us resolve our refrigerator installation without making any major changes to our home, which saved us a lot of money. Thank you Thomas!2021- My service technician was great! Rolando was timely, efficient, very knowledgeable, and a nice guy. I would definitely go with Michael & Son again, we’re even considering the home warranty. I have another appointment with one of their HVAC techs next week. Hoping for the same level of service.

I purchased a new heat pump about 18 months ago from Russell’s at over $10,000 which is still under warranty. Due to a manufacturing defect apparently a hole formed in an internal pipe and all coolant leaked out. Russell’s repaired it in two hours but charged me over $1800. This was about $400 for replacement coolant, fine with that but $700 PER HOUR labor is stunningly outrageous especially for a manufacturing defect. I can no longer recommend this company.

May 17th 2018 I had an appointment to have my unit which is not working to be repaired. At noon when I called I was told that my technician would be at my home after the call he was presently on therefore I was next in line. As I am writing this review it is now 5:30 I have called 5 times told the same story each time and yet I am still waiting for a technician who has never arrived! Therefore Smith & Keene either hold no honor for customer service! Or their service technician is dead on the highway someplace and they don't care about their employees! Either way I am left with no working unit and stood up being told the same story over and over and over again!
Literally just received a phone call from Smith and Keene being told the same exact story I have been told 5 times today! They are stating that I will have a technician here at some point within this day but have no idea when that will be. I've lost a day of work! I have had to remain in a sweltering house waiting for a technician to never show! I will revise this review if they actually show up and do the work that needs to be done! But to pay as much money as I'm getting ready to pay for this technician if he actually shows up; & for the disrespect and lack of customer service and communication is CRIMINAL!!!!!
Well.... at 7 pm a technician finally arrived. Was kind, courteous and efficient! However $1,200 later while I have AC now I will have to replace my unit. That's fine I'm good with that however, I still do not feel that Smith and Keene appreciates their customers nor do they know how to communicate to their customers. Any issues they may be having with scheduling appointments for service! Therefore, I will try not to ever call them again! I'm sorry if one of your technicians decided to quit today that is your problem not mine! But the lack of communication, is all on Smith and Keene! Find better dispatchers and receptionist who are willing to actually do their job! Oh wait! I'll do their job! hire me! And I will do a thousand percent better job than what you've already got employed! Because you're answering service, dispatchers, and receptionist are laxidasical, irresponsible, and rude! No other way to say it but the first impression starts with the first phone call and those women SUCK!

Great work. Had a tech out because my lights were flickering in my kids room. That ended up just being a bad switch. But after they did one of there electrical inspections we found even more that were bad. They were able to fix a hand full for us rite then and there. Thank you guys. Highly recommend

We have used Bud's for several years and are always pleased with their services. They installed a whole house generator several years ago. Today they disconnected the electricity from an old alarm system in the house.
