In short - would avoid at all costs.
The company was recommended by a friend to help fix a slow-draining bath tub. They ended up using air pump, busted the piping and caused a considerable leak with water damage (i.e. cieling holes in the two rooms below the bath). This cost us $500, with invoice citing they left the premise in good shape - despite the holes as the evidence to contrary.
They said they would call the following day and fix the issue, but subsequently strung us along for 4 weeks until we called ourselves. The owner finally got in touch and provided us an estimate of $4,000 to fix the problem - this was more than twice the estimate of their original quote.
We then contacted a different plumber who fixed the issue in 2h work for $310.

Anthony is one-of-a-kind (even more so in the Boston area). Facing issue after issue with my landlord's handyman, it became clear that a true professional would be required, but Drain Flow was more than I bargained for. Within the first call, they answered and let me know they were on a job and would get back. Lo-and-behold, they got back to me promptly 30 minutes later. Within 24h, we had our appointment scheduled and completed which blew my mind. He cleared all our problems out in a short hour that we faced for months. All the while, he actually taught me what was going on and I've been self-enabled on some maintenance tasks ever since. You really get more out of the money you spend with Drain Flow than other plumber/drain services. Now, years later, as a homeowner now - I have once again relied on Anthony to ensure my new home is up-to-code and as safe as it can be. Years later - same response time - same scheduling timeline - it's clear Drain Flow (and Anthony) are here to ensure their quality lasts and their Customers happy.
I will be using Drain Flow as a Customer for life; simple as that. Hope this helps you on your search for a service that you can trust.

Our Boston row house suffered a damaged sewer pipe (lateral -perpendicular to street).
We consulted about 1/2 dozen contractors based upon the BWSC's list of bonded companies.
A number of the companies really diagnosed the situation poorly. They came by, took a quick peak, and left. A couple companies scoped (camera) the pipe but still came up with inappropriate or incomplete plans to fix the problem.
Tico and his crew spent far longer analyzing the situation. They came up with a straight forward and complete plan. The price was on the lower end of all the quotes we received.
On the scheduled repair day, they arrived on time and got to work. They performed like a well oiled machine. The excavations, new pipe, and covering up of the dig sites moved forward efficiently. The BWSC inspector had no issues with their work. Tico even blew dust off of cars parked in the vicinity!
Yeah, initially we had difficulty contacting Hercules and getting a reply. And yes the job itself was scheduled on short notice. But IMO, you gotta be nuts to hire anyone else for this kind of job.

These guys are fast and efficient. They were able to unclog my businesses main pipe where others couldn't for much cheaper. Highly recommend.

These guys are awesome. They are friendly, honest, punctual, and responsive, and they make sure things are done right. This is my go-to company for everything related to plumbing in my building. I could go on and on about these guys, but I will keep it short and to the point so you can easily make a decision (and choose I & C Mechanical) if you are looking for someone to help you.
