I have a 2 family rental property. The first floor tenant was experiencing a problem with runaway heat where the furnace kept giving the first floor heat even though the thermostat was set at 68 degrees the first floor would heat up to 78 degrees at times. After trouble shooting the cause twice the technician found the cause on the second trouble shoot. Zane replaced the Aqua Stat Relay which fixed the problem. The reason I know it fixed the problem is that he replaced it on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022 and I would not write a review until I gave the tenant some time to use the heat. I talked with the tenant today Thursday, December 1st, 2022 and he told me that the heat is set at 68 degrees and has not once got any hotter. Excellent job completed by an Excellent technician. Zane was not going to leave the site until he felt that he fixed the problem. Zane explained to me what the problem was and why the tenant had runaway heat. We used akian plumbing due to a leak in the garbage disposal. The company had to cancel our appointment twice and we were told it was a combination of low staffing and other urgent appointments. This was inconvenient, but once the engineer got here, it was handled very professionally and quickly. Evan was friendly, informative and gave tips on how to troubleshoot should we have any issues down the line with the new garbage disposal (had to replace the leaky one). Overall, despite the scheduling issues, we are pleased with the service and repair.
