We know Tony for a few years and he is always on time, willing to help, and get things done professionally. He even answers my my husband’s questions related to plumbing through text message from time to time, at no charge. We recently just moved and had him come over to take a look at a clogged tub. He took care of it and gave suggestions on how to prevent things to happen again as he always did. Meanwhile we had a HVAC guy checked our heating system and one of the valves just started leaking and HVAC guy didn’t have the right valve to fix the leaking. Tony stepped in and helped us replace the valve at no cost. We just feel so lucky to know such a knowledgeable and helpful plumber. Would recommend to everyone!

The employee who came to look at our plumbing needs conducted himself courteously and did a quick assessment. He recommended a solution we were not previously aware of; he was available to answer our questions over the next two days. After researching his recommendation with an outside consultant (our contractor) we decided to get Winters do the job. We got a follow-up visit and were able to get job scheduled quickly and we look forward to its completion.UPDATE to earlier review added February 7, 2019. Reduced number of stars to 3.1. Installation was done promptly but after one week we discovered a problem. One of the two apartments became unbearably hot, due to constant circulation of hot water. We’re waiting for Winters to correct this by installing a circulator.2. The work order included a complimentary repair of Apt 1 kitchen sink hose. The young plumber (the sales person) did not diagnose the problem correctly, thus causing a delay in getting the right part. In the end he was not able to do the repair. Though he was polite and pleasant with me, he was rude with my husband.,Based on these problems I GIVE WINTERS 3 STARS.

I had to buy the faucet which I did at Frank Webb in Watertown. Akian's plumber charged me $712.00 to install this basic faucet in the bathroom. ( $79.00 deposit plus an additional $633.00)Never again will we use or recommend Akian!!I would like to apologize to Akian Plumbing. At the time I didn't realize that they also had changed a shut off valve. After reviewing everything that was a very fair price. They even gave me a refund of $100.00. I would recommend them & will call them in the near future when needed.I would give them 4 1/2 stars.
