Our latest plumbing problem had the team arrive, check the type of water heater needed, and locate where the water heater was in the house. The Dodd team was back in a short period of time. They removed the old water heater, installed the new water heater, and hauled the old water heater away. From start to finish, the job was completed in a timely fashion.

When Mr. Dodd left to purchase a new water heater, he could have easily stopped at a nearby Big Box store. Instead, he went to a wholesaler and purchased a higher quality water heater at a much lower price.

American Mechanical installed home generator, team was professional and courteous. Installation looked great and professional. They were quick and kept me informed throughout the install. Only down side was how long it took American Mechanical to get the generator once I ordered it to install. I ordered generator in June of 2021 with a December 2021 install. With COVID and supply chain shortages I know it’s not American Mechanical’s fault.

These guys were called to come repair an air conditioner that stopped cooling in a vacation rental we were staying in. The technician was able to diagnose the system had a bad capacitor and swap it out with one he had on the truck to get us back up and running! Really great!

My emergency arose when I had an after (work) hour back-up in my kitchen sink disposal resulting from a clog in my drain pipes. I also found that my pipes were not securely connected. As I was checking them, they ended up coming apart at the joint and I could not put them back together. I called two other 24-hr plumbing companies, then A-1 American, and A-1 American was most responsive. When I initially talked to the technician on the phone, he was very amenable to my schedule and at my request moved my service call to the end of his day which gave me more time to get home from work the next day. Once the technicians arrived, they were professional, knowledgeable, quickly assessed the problem, and were quite fair and open with their pricing. They completed the job and further gave me some tips to keep the issue from reoccurring. I would without question use A-1 American again if I ended up in another bind.
